I'm scrapping too! I've got two circle journals I need to finish so I can hand deliver them to Rhonda on Tuesday. I also need to work on baby Sophie's book. I'm waaaaaaay behind in getting that done.

Have to share the ultimate Christmas bargain story!! My mom got me a rolling cricut tote. Here is her story - she went to Michaels and asked if they carried the totes and was told "No we don't have any because we are phasing out Cricut and promoting Martha Stewart" (WTH!!?) Anyways, she went looking throught the Cricut section to see what she could find that "looked interesting" as she does not scrapbook. I know, the horror. And on a top shelf she sees a green "bag thing on wheels with a little cricket bug on it". So she has someone get it down and asks if this is what I maybe was looking for. Indeed they confirmed and were surprised they even had one.

So Mom has them take it to the register to see how much it costs - she has a Christmas budget too dontcha know. It rings up .01. Well everyone knows that can't be right so the cashier has the lead cashier come over. Keys in the code by hand. Rings up .01. "That can't be right" "Let me call my Manager, he is working at the other store". Makes phone call. Manager says "If that is what it is ringing up as - SELL IT".



The Ultimate .01 gift!!!

Too bad there was only one. And too bad my SIL got me the Cricut tote without wheels. Don't know what to do with that one. I am definitely keeping the big green wheelie tote!!!

Oooh, that is lucky!

A few months ago, there was a rash of penny items ringing up in M's. The people who found them weren't as lucky as your Mom though. They were told it was the code for items that were to be removed the stores and sent to the dumpster...

That is SO awesome! TB and I thought we hit the jackpot several months back when we were some of the DIS posters who got lots of embellishments, etc. for a penny each at Ms. (And they sold them to us...the cashiers were too busy scanning everything to notice the .01 cent things going in, we think.)

But to get a wheely Cricut tote....that is so cool!!!! Do the happy dance, girl!!!

Didn't get anything done on Saturday.

Yes, as you can see by the time stamp, I am way up past Saturday.

My dogs won't leave the house and I'm too afraid to fall asleep in case they do need to go out and I don't see them standing by the door. Darn dogs.

Never did get to the closet. Better do that in the morning before the DH comes home and wants to know how we will both fit on the couch.
I did get the clothes out of the washer and into the dryer. Once less smelly thing to wake up to.
Make up grocery list for Monday.

Congrats on the .01 tote!!!! The .01 items are things that M's isn't carrying anymore and should have been gotten rid of, but sometimes things get missed. If it rings up for .01 at our store, the cashier has to sell it to you for that, but then we're supposed to get someone on the sales floor to remove any remaining ones.

At this time in 1 week I'll be on my way to WDW!!!!!! I can't wait!!!

My list for today:
Tidy living room and put Christmas gifts away
Start taking down decorations - I'll work on this a little each day to have them down by the 1st
Go to the movies - we still haven't agreed on which movie to see. There are quite a few we want to see. My first choice is the Princess and the Frog, but DH won't agree to that so I'm sure we'll go see something else.
Go out to lunch
Grocery shopping
Laundry - DH is off next week and DS is out of school, but I need my M's shirts clean so I can go off to work tomorrow
Clean up scrap room and start working on swaps
Play Wii with DH and DS - we got the Winter Olympics and Super Mario for Christmas

morning everyone!

well i have a full day today. i want to finish putting everything away.
i need dh to put the tree in the attic. i took it down, you put it up there! deal?
run to disney store and exchange sweatshirt? if they have it.
run to jo's and check out clearance section.
run to m's and see if i can exchange punches for double rings and price adjust my cricut.
pick up my house. i pick it up/bubba & daddy trash it!
work on laundry some more.
find a rubbermaid container for new wii stuff and one for new CARS stuff bubba got. he has a container for his disney cars only and it's overflowing and he got a ton of new ones from santa so he needs a new bin.

and about a zillion other things. but this is top on the list.
