I'm home! I'm already in my PJs. DH and Princess are out shopping. I can't imagine what for. Hope he's home soon, I'm getting hungry and he's making calzones!

Oh, they must be close, I just got an email from Redbox that they picked up the movies! I hope he remembers my French bread, I'm making Pam's fancy-schmancy brie on Christmas Day at my sister's.

Stopped at my mom's and filled out the form she was supposed to return 2 months ago about her health insurance coverage with the state. Holy flaming heck...I was able to get it faxed too, which I am supremely thankful for, I don't really want to leave the house tomorrow!

LOL on the Captain Obvious, Nan. I loved your lessons in how to get to the trash can yesterday too. I wonder if that would work with replacement of toilet paper, putting clothes in the hamper, closing the bathroom vanity, turning off lights, etc., etc., etc. Might have to implement a few lessons here.

Funny recent story related to the baked brie...Since I'm STILL not driving since the car crash, I have to send DH to the grocery store on his way home from work once or twice a week. Yesterday, I gave him a list before he left, and pointed out in the store ad that the bags of walnuts were on sale. (I always am mooching the walnuts for the recipe from TinkerBean because we never have any!!!) I gave him a coupon for the walnuts and said that they would taste great with the baked brie...

Fast forward to last night, when he was unloading the grocery bags in the kitchen. I see two bags of WHOLE walnuts (still in the shell). UM...WTH am I supposed to do with these? He looked sheepish and said even the cashier ringing him up said "How do you eat these? They have shells!" (I didn't even think the store carried walnuts in the shell...I don't think I've ever seen them before!) He just got back from work -- and the store -- tonight after having returned the walnuts in the shell for the chopped ones. Gotta love the poor dears...

To all who are worried about if they got enough:

You did! Have you ever had anyone complain that they didn't like their Christmas presents? (Sidenote: If you have, they're grumpy and don't deserve presents.. my mom can chime in here with the Ladies' Home Journal story at any time).

Your kids are fine with whatever and don't ask for anything because they don't expect anything, so whatever you get them is great! As long as we can use it (and it's not a toothbrush or toilet bowl cleaner) we'll be happy!

What a good kid you are, wise beyond your years. Pam, give yourself a pat on the back for a job well done.

My Deal of the Day : 40 sq ft premium wrapping paper for $.50 a roll!! Buy out at the local resale shop... KA-CHING!!

That is a great price. Even Christmas Tree Shop today wasn't having any great bargains.

Holly, I'm sorry to hear about your fall. See you need those Christmas cookies to add a little padding to your tush to cushion your fall. Hope the only thing hurt was your pride.
