~The Daily Grind~ 11/7/09

It's Saturday!! What do you have planned for the weekend?

Mouse update: Still no sprung traps... Going shopping later for somthing I heard about. I don't want to get those sticky paper ones, I HATE those! These other ones trap the mouse and you can then take it outside and let it go... Since my mouse is too smart for the snapping traps...

DH and I had a really nice time at the wedding. My friend looked so pretty and happy. I was perfectly dressed in my semi dressy outfit, so thanks for all the advice again!

My list for today:

Caffeinate

have a great day all

Today is cleaning/scrapping/laundry day!

I have already cleaned up and winterized my closet and put my summer items away...
I have to photograph and bag the items for goodwill (photograph for taxes).
DH to drop off goodwill items when in town grabbing drywall :headache: he left them here! :(
:laundy: DONE!!
make sure DH and the boys do their list of chores I gave them (no excuses... no reason others can't lend a hand!)1/3 done, ERRRRRKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKK!
DD to drive me to grocery for a few supplies (caffeine!)

Thats about it.. they are kicking me out of the computer area so they can work...
Time to rattle eldest up who thinks it's ok to sleep the day away and party all night.. NOT!!!!

preteens I thought girls were bad good lord who knew boys would have the crying hissy fits. I'm praying it's the stress of the 1st swim meet in a few hours otherwise LOOK OUT mom is ticked off. okay vent over

Nan drywall what ya building?

We are having to rebuild a wall the moron's didn't do it right (we've been here 9 years and he's been promising from day 1...) Anyway, he has to get the top floor of our house done by May 15th because our eldest graduates on the 28th of May... We are having his open house for the families on the 22nd (or around there)... my parents and DH's dad and stepmom will be over for graduation on the 28th...

ah rebuilding guess I can't say we have that problem we built it so if it's wrong whoops.................

Well he did alright his 1st event he DQ's cause he turned to his tummy too much:confused3:confused3 but would have had a 49.06 for 50 back. 50 free he had a 44.06 (i think) but he took it well and is learning. Not bad for his 1st meet. What a LONG drawn out hurry up and wait type sport. we got there at 1:30 and left before they were finished at 6:30 i'm tired and ready for bed.

Oh Christy, I remember those days. Swim team meets can be so b o r i n g!!!
But it's kind of a cool sport, because they are competing to improve their own best score, but still part of a team. We did travel to compete for 1 season, but that was it for me...

I've already told him no traveling for me. We are very lucky to have a brand new 13 million dollar (or so they say) facility 7 miles away. Boring hot and to many people for me. I was not all that impressed with the amount of people stacked into the stands and how rude many of them were. there were 18 teams at this meet!!!! I think I'll be checking things out a little better for the next one.

I love LofD! Those will be great shows to do.

My kitty boy caught a mole today. Thank goodness I wasn't home!

:scared1::scared1:

I hope said mole stayed outside.

A nice start for his first meet! :thumbsup2

FCM, good luck on the job search.

No, he caught it inside (they are indoor cats). DH took care of it. I guess Meezer was really mad when DH took the mole away from him. He would have just played with it to death. They don't eat moles.

we had a dead mole in the driveway. i asked dh want happened to him and he looked at me like :confused3 and said "oh i don't know. i think he had a heart attack! lets wait for the autopsy to confirm that!"

yes my dh is a smart a**!:rotfl:

LOL! Last night when I went into the second store to ask for directions, I said "I need to get to the pike" and the guy said "the MassPike?" I really wanted to say, "No, the New Jersey Pike, I'm realllllly lost," but didn't want him to not give me directions ;)
