Google "croissant spiral." It's the latest trend for laminated dough. Croissant muffins were last year, but Disney is slow to catch up. I'm guessing we will see croissant spirals next year.
Like I said, the croissant muffin has made it's way to Disneyland at the Jolly Holiday Bakery and it is FAR better than the lowly croissant doughnut at Epcot (at least the one I had at the Refreshment Port a few years ago).
Connections Eatery has a good food game, so I expect this cronut to be better than its predecessor, although I'm surprised they didn't jump on the croissant spiral trend. They do Liege waffles which are also a trendy food item these days.
