I am so excited to FINALLY be going to Disney for real. We have been to Disney before but never stayed in the park and had the dining plan. This is a first for us.:woohoo:

The Cast:
Myself - Love Disney and can only relate to the excitement of it with my Sister. princess:
DH - Just goes with the flow of things for me. :cool2:
DS - 3 Years Old going on 10. Loves Mickey Mouse, but not the Pirates. :yay:
DD - 2 Years Old. Loves Everything, but not into the Characters up close. princess:
DMIL - She's never been to Disney.
DFIL - Not sure if he is going yet or not, but he is scheduled to go.
DBIL's GF - Love Her....She's never been to Disney.

When We Leave:
Thursday, very early in the morning, September 12th.

Where We Are Staying:
I originally wanted to stay at Pop, but had to settle for All Star Sports. My DS will love this place I am sure. He is so into sports it is not even funny. This is our first time staying at one of the resorts, so I can't wait to see it.

Dining:
We are going during the Free Dining period. That was one of the main reasons for going. It was a great deal. We did however upgrade to the Delux Dining Plan. My sister is the one who advised me to do that. Have I mentioned that my sister is the biggest Disney "Nut" you'll come across. She should be a tour guide. I am so excited for the dining, because we have never eaten at any of the restaurants in Disney; just counter service.

We are scheduled for the following:
lunch on arrival day - Libery Tree Tavern
dinner on the 12th - Narcossee's
Breakfast on the 13th - Cystal Palace
Dinner on the 13th - Cinderella's Castle
Breakfast on the 14th - Tuskar House
Dinner on the 14th - Prime Time Dinner
Breakfast on the 15th - O'Hana's

I am hoping that these were good choices.

Park Plan: Don't really have one yet. I need to do that....

But I cannot wait for this trip. I am so super excited.....:cheer2: We are going to celebrate our 8th wedding anniversary there as well as my 30th birthday. The only thing that could top this trip off is an overnight stay in the castle. There is no harm in wishing. Right?

Thank you for stopping by to read my post. I am new at this, so I didn't know what to expect. I wish I could give you feed back about your dining reservations, but I haven't even eaten at the restaurants at Disney except for the counter service places. I am sure that they are all going to be great. Have a great time.

Thanks!! I am also new to the trip-reports. I put mine out there yesterday, but no one has replied!!

I like your dining ressies's that you have now.

I have eaten at Liberty Tree Tavern and it was really good home-cooked food.

I have also eaten at Cinderella's Castle. That's amazing!! I don't really remember the food we had, except that it was a nice breakfast, but the experience is wonderful, even for two adults!!

The Crystal Palace is really good too and the characters are Winnie the Pooh and Tigger, along with a few more. Your toddlers will love it, if they like the characters.

Another great place to go with small kids is Chef Mickey's at the Contemporary Resort. The food is really good for a buffet.

I can tell you about other places that I have eaten, if you'd like.

I will have to go and read your post. Any information that can be shared is more than welcome.

Other places that we have eaten at and enjoyed were:

Coral Reef at Epcot- this was good atmosphere, try to get a table by the windows. We have had lunch and dinner here, and we liked the dinner the best as far as the food.

Rainforest Cafe at Animal Kingdom- It good, the coconut shrimp are the best that I have eaten anywhere. The worst part- it's not on the Dining plan!! We are going this time too, b/c we will have to pay for a few meals b/c we are eating at a few 2 credits places for dinner.

Le Cellier at Epcot- good!! The steak is wonderful, but you do have to add a little salt and pepper.

Yachtsman Steakhouse- Outstanding meal!!! Everything was wonderful. Worth the 2 credits to me!!

Fulton's Crab House at Downtown Disney- Not on the dining plan either, but the crab is really good.

Artist's Point at Wilderness Lodge- DH really liked the buffalo steak there, and the atmosphere is really quiet, if I remember correctly.

I wish we could go to Victoria and Alberts, but we will have DS1 and the age limit is 10 there.

Hi. I'm the afore mentioned nutty sister. Cruising Camper your ADR's sound great. If you like Yachtsman you'll love Narcoossee's. Narcoossee's is my fave restaurant. We go every trip. We also make sure to be there for Wishes. The best place to view Wishes in my opinion.

Hey Jilly! :) :)

Thanks!! It sure is a lot of work doing all that planning. I had not even thought about Narcoossee's and seeing Wishes from there. I guess I should make sure that we have a dining time that would be good for that.

I hope we can stick to these plans when we arrive, it could be hard for DS1. Last time, in March, if we seen that he'd be too tired for whatever dining that we had ADR's for, we called to cancel, so at least someone else could have the time slot.

Good Morning!! No one seems very interested in my thread either! Wonder why some are read & replied to and others aren't.

I was so excited about doing a pre-trip report, for the feedback.

It is disappointing, but this is my first. Hopefully people will be interested in my Completed Trip Report come September.:confused3

The kids are in for nap....:yay: We just got back from the mall. We made another trip to the Disney Store. You will not believe the kinds of sales that they are having now. T-Shirts are 2.99, Swimsuits are 4.99, PJs are 4.99, and I got a nice carry-on bag that is a heavy duty canvas and says Family Vacation on the front for 9.99. The bag will be great for our trip. I need to have a bag that I can take on the plane and carry with us until we get our luggage. I love all the deals that I get. Although I did forget to get the kids more Disney Dollars. Patrick asked where his money was today for Disney and I showed him and he told me he needed more. I tell you 3 going on 13. Hope you had a great day. TTYL.

Hey! Hopefully your day is going better than mine. Thought Pat had a real prospect for a job, but it turned out that they don't have work in Philly. I hate UNIONS.

great start on your pre-trip report...i loved getting deals on stuff at the disney store too! need to hit there soon to get stuff ahead of tiem for the next trip which i am thnking of moving to april 09 instead of sept. because of crowds with free dining { would love to get it but worry about the crowds and would have to take off work,i am a pre-k asst. so school will be in and in april we could go during spring break like this year, not too crowded and longest line we did was 45 mins for ariels grotto because she was on break} so we could maybe pay oop for some things and pack sandwichs for the parks...and sharing at cs is always a good option since the twins aren't big eaters...
your adrs look good,we did the liberty tree tvern { dgs choice} and crt { dgd choice] also play & dine @ hollywood & vine...liberty tree was good food and crt was surprisingly good, not very adventurous of and eater here..but the tenderloin was great...can't remember much about h & v was good ,love buffets to cover all our taste.coral reef was my fav of all though...we did the diver/menues and the kids were thrilled...pix in my trip report...can't wait to read more of yours....

Thanks for the input. I would love to go to Coral Reef, but there weren't any available times during the time that we are going. Please be sure to check back in September for a completed trip report. We are counting the days. Can't wait:)

Sounds like I may need to be trying find the nearest Disney Store. We don't have one in my hometown, but right now, I am in a near by town that is much bigger, so may be while I'm here I can find a store!!

I hit the Disney store last night and got some great deals. Pjs, swimsuits and pins for trading. The pins were $2. We are huge pin traders.

I'm soooo mad. Dining lost my Chef Mickey;'s ressie for James' bday. I really wanted to go there. Now we are eating at Goofy's Beach Club breakfast. I know you and mom took the kid's there, how was it?
