The convergence of everything I love in WDW! Nov 2011 PTR-p.9 updated plans!

I love your two weeks from today posts- your plans sound amazing!!!

Got a little snow Thursday night, but it started coming down here heavily about an hour and a half ago. We were at Ben's flag football game from 3 to 4:30 in the cold, wind and rain. I'm just starting to warm up! Nate was supposed to play at 6 (now) and thankfully the league cancelled the game. Dark and Snowy are not good complements to football.

Hope you don't get too much out there!

PS- Just saw in the paper that Big Bad Voodoo Daddy is playing the Blue Ocean Music Hall in Salisbury, MA on November 4.

You know, at first I kinda sorta liked Teresa. Then, she started getting more and more crazy eyed and a "me, me, me" person to where I do NOT like her any more. You know she is going to "distant" herself from so and so and then she makes these wonderful recipes with all sorts of "ingrediences". :sad2:

:lmao::rotfl2: I totally forgot about the "ingrediences". I just don't like the fact that she gets physical. I mean- COME ON...who gets into fist fights as an adult??? It's crazy!

Yeah, MD is supposed to get snow tomorrow afternoon. :( I won't be there until Sunday afternoon, but was kinda hoping that I got away from the snow once I got out of Colorado this afternoon.

How was the storm near you?

Thank goodness they cancelled that game!!! How much snow did you get??
Thanks for the Big Bad Voodoo Daddy show info!

Forgive me for missing some of the "in 2 weeks" posts. We lost power Saturday night until Monday morning. This snow storm was SO awful. We got a foot of wet, heavy snow. Saturday night, all I could hear outside were trees breaking & branches snapping. It was scary. Sunday morning it was sunny & windy, so anything that didn't break the night before, broke Sunday. I heard a huge thud outside & ran out to find a big branch fell on the roof of my new car....this is the one time that procrastinating has helped me. The foot of snow still on my car kept the branch from doing damage. :scared1: Halloween was postponed until Thursday...which reminds me that I will have to post the photos of my pumpkins.
My ME tags FINALLY came in!!!! Here are the "in 2 weeks" posts that I missed:
Saturday- In 2 weeks, I might head to AK in the morning, DtD in the afternoon, then EPCOT at night. I have dinner scheduled at Rose & Crown.

Sunday- In 2 weeks, I'm spending part of the day at EPCOT. I have a lunch at Les Chefs de France. I'm going to spend the evening EMH at DHS.

Monday- In 2 weeks, I will be heading home again, my vacation will be over, & the post-WDW blues will begin.

I hope you all didn't get this storm- or that you didn't get damage from it. I'm sure I will post before I leave. 1 week to go!!!!

So sorry to hear that the storm was that bad for you! I have friends in MA, around Boston and such, and have seen the pictures they took of the down branches and snow. But I'm glad that the snow on your new SUV kept it safe! We only got rain, a little sleet, and bad winds, though I didn't witness it since I was still driving home at that point. I did see a lot of snow and branched driving through PA Sunday morning though.

Glad your ME tags finally came, and doing the 1 week dance for you!

Holy crap a doo doo! I can't believe that you had such bad weather and it's only November. :worship: that the limb didn't do any damage to your car. I am sure you would have been sick to your stomach if it had.

I'm so happy that you got your ME tags in. I know you were worried about them not getting to you sooner.

Thanks! I'm so glad you didn't have to drive through the snow!! I'm SO glad you're doing Wild Africa Trek, too- you will love it!

Thank you! I would have completely freaked out if my new car was damaged in the storm!! We NEVER get snow in October. This storm was a big record-breaker.
I can't believe that I leave in less than a week!!!! I feel so unprepared.

Sorry to hear about your loss of power and fallen branches. Wow! I am so glad the tree did not damage your new car!

We got about 5 inches here. Of course, our snowblower is in for a tune-up. Who gets snow in October??? We were very fortunate and did not lose power, although over half of our town did. Most are back, but there are still a few who have not been restored yet. There was no school on Monday, but things are back to normal now.

Hope the rest of the week leading up to your trip is smooth sailing!

Yeah for receiving your ME tags!!! :cool1:

THANK GOD the car didn't suffer any damage. I could not believe that storm (that's nice -- Tim and family had to go stay with a friend because of no power and with the new baby and all). I hope things get better soon.

Thanks! I'm glad you didn't get hit too badly with the storm. But it was REALLY too early for snow!! Our snowblower couldn't handle the snow at all. I ended up shoveling.
So far my week has been iffy. I'm very happy that it is Thursday & SO relieved that my ME tags made it here.

Thanks! I'm very thankful that there was no damage to my car! I'm really happy that we have power, too. I can't imagine having a newborn & dealing with not having power! That must have been awful.

Well, I was going to place a grocery order, but have decided against it. The prices for everything are too high on those sites & they charge a $12 delivery fee & suggest a $12 tip. I can just buy water from the Hess station outside Boardwalk instead.
I'm getting nervous/excited. The weather is looking good for next week, too.
5 Days!!!!

We didn't place a grocery order this past trip because we were going offsite anyway and could just stop by the grocery store. Actually, there wasn't much difference between the prices online and the prices in the stores...except for the water which was a good bit cheaper at the store itself. We didn't add a tip to our order and it was delivered to bell services so I didn't have to tip the grocery service. I did give the bellman $5 though when he delivered our order.

I am sure you are super excited to see that the weather is supposed to be good in Florida. I'll keep my fingers crossed that the forecast remains good.

I never place a grocery order, but I drive so I can just bring food with me in my car, or drive to the grocery store on the way and pick stuff up.

Glad the weather is looking food for your visit

Thank you! I wish I could rent a car this time because the Winn Dixie down the road is pretty reasonable. I would pack stuff, but water will definitely send my luggage over the weight limit! I think I might pack snacks & buy water there.
I think I can fit some goldfish crackers into my carry-on. The toughest stuff to pack is the camera equipment.

Thanks! I've been spoiled in the past because I rented a car every time (or whoever I was with rented a car).

FIVE MORE DAYS!

Thanks! :woohoo: I'm getting excited now!!! :yay:

I was just thinking about taking photos of Big Bad Voodoo Daddy at the America Gardens theater. :cloud9: Guacamole & a margarita in Mexico, sidewalk chalk artists at DtD, Soarin', behind the seeds tour, Osborne Family Spectacle of Dancing Lights, Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party... I just hope everything goes ok with picking up my annual pass after all of that trouble.

If you do the Behind the Seeds Tour, be sure to ask if there are any discounts. I know that they gave us a discount for having AAA and I think I am remembering correctly that annual passholder get discounts too.
