Does anyone know where I can get a copy of The Complete Guide to Walt Disney World 2009 by Julie Neal?

thanks
Rob

Don't know about 2009, but I bought my 2008 directly from them on eBay, under coconutpress (i think). They sent some up to date maps and entertainment times guides with it too... which was helpful.

Thanks, was hoping to find a Uk retailer but no luck yet; shall keep looking

This is probably the best book I have on WDW. Much more than a guide book and IMHO a must have in anyone's book collection :)

well sorry to disagree but simons book A BRITS GUIDE TO ORLANDO we find the best..

its all youre own preference i guess.

So sorry about the delay in getting the 2009 edition out. The new book is at the printer now, and will ship Tuesday, Dec. 23rd. Bookstores and Amazon should have it about a week later.

When Mike and I started on the 2009 edition, we had a lot of ideas on how to improve it. Those improvements took a lot longer than we estimated. Now our photos are bigger, and there is a What's New overview up front, new articles on Saving Time and Saving Money, at-a-glance summaries in each theme park chapter and hour-by-hour wait times for each attraction. All 700 attractions, restaurants, shops and hotels at Disney World are rated and reviewed. One good thing about the delay is that the book is completely up to date, including the American Idol Experience and the addition of Barack Obama to the Hall of Presidents.

Thanks for your kind words about the book. I hope you like the new edition!

May I suggest “Unofficial Guide to Walt Disney World 2009”, you can purchase it from Amazon at less than £10 including free postage.

thanks for the suggestion , yes this is a great book and the only one I have bought to date. The DISpod cast crew recommended Julei NEal book so thought I would give it a go, if I find a copy I will let you kno what it is is like

Photography-wise, you'll struggle to find a better guide to WDW than Julie and Mike's book. Their first edition was pretty impressive and the new edition sounds as if it will be even better. Our guide obviously covers Orlando as a whole from the UK perspective, but, for WDW on its own, the Complete Guide is a very good buy, and far less unwieldy than the Unofficial Guide, IMHO.

I really enjoy the unofficial guide - I can not believe the level of detail the book goes into! I found the book very funny though, and dining section was particulary useful for our trip :) .

I loved Simons DLRP book, and will be getting the orlando one! :)

But sa my up and coming trip will be only disney, I might get julies too. Lol.

Gotta love travel guides!!

Just buy them all - I do every year :lmao:

I'm not liking that via ebay or amazon the cost gets so high due to shipping :sad1:

Noticed today that the Book Repository has it in stock at £13.01

It was on amazon uk briefly a few days ago about £12. I should have ordered it then!

Mikki, I think is is still available on Amazon for about £12 but PP is another £2.75. BTW my ref should have been Book Depository which is still on Amazon but with P&P it is cheaper to order direct From them rather than via Amazon
