Max: Max nodded. "The powers thing will be easy for me. But I bet Professor Collins will have tricks up her sleeve for those that need help. Besides, we've had Power and Combat class for the past two weeks, and it's still September, so there's a few more weeks until October and the trip."

Serefima: Serefima nodded. "Yes, I suppose you're right. I just hope I don't scorch Mickey," she joked as she toyed with her flame necklace.

Max: "You'll be fine," Max insisted. She got quiet again, she didn't really know what to talk about.

Toby: Toby looked down immediately when Max looked at him. He focused on eating.

River: River smiled she couldn't believe that revealing this secret hadn't changed anything between Daniel and her. Now she was only worried about Max if Toby couldn't be convinced.

Alex: Alex looked at Toby curiously for looking down away from anyone but didn't pester him about it. Once she finished her doughnut she started walking to class with Toby sure not to leave him, he didn't seem to want to be alone. Walking into the classroom Alex placed her bag next to a desk before grabbing a history book and sitting down at her desk in the middle of the room. Looking up when Jack walked in she smiled at him and laughed before looking through her bag for a pencil.

Jack: Jack walked into class finishing his doughnut before smiling at Alex. Seeing her laugh he looked confused before bringing his finger to his mouth and feeling glaze around his mouth from the doughnut. He blushed slightly before wiping clean his mouth, grabbing a book and sitting in the back.

Alex: Alex looked at Toby curiously for looking down away from anyone but didn't pester him about it. Once she finished her doughnut she started walking to class with Toby sure not to leave him, he didn't seem to want to be alone. Walking into the classroom Alex placed her bag next to a desk before grabbing a history book and sitting down at her desk in the middle of the room. Looking up when Jack walked in she smiled at him and laughed before looking through her bag for a pencil.

Professor Collins: Professor Collins walked into the room. "Take your seats everyone, unless you're getting your history book, we'll take roll."

Max: Max already had her book, so she sat back down in her seat and waited to hear her name.

Serefima: Serefima watched as Professor Collins walked in, and pulled out her history book, ready for an entire class of boredom.

Alex: Alex grabbed her pencil from her bag and placed it next to her book. Putting her bag next to her desk again, she leaned back and waited for roll.

Jack: Jack leaned back in his seat, waiting for his name to be called.

Professor Collins: "Diamond Anderson?" It was a name she was unfamiliar with, it was always hard to keep track of the late arrivals, but then spotted the girl that must be her, and she marked her present. "River Carson?" She looked around the room. Where was River?

Daniel: Daniel was still holding River's hand when he entered the room, River right behind him. He paused at the front of the classroom.

Professor Collins: Without looking up at them, Professor Collins said, "Nice of you to come to class today Mr. Schaffer, Miss Carson. Next time it'll be a tardy. Have a seat, why don't you."

Daniel: Daniel slipped into his seat, his face feeling warm.

Max: Max smirked, it was quite amusing despite that it was her only two friends ever.

Professor Collins: Professor Collins marked River present and looked up again. "Amelia Daley." Amelia was a very quiet girl, but the professor still noticed her presence. After marking her present, she called, "Jack Henderson."

Alex: Alex yawned still twirling her pencil before shaking her head and looking around the room. She sighed before looking back towards Professor Collins.

Professor Collins: Professor Collins nodded at Max and marked her present. "Margo Reeves." She found Margo and marked her present. "Daniel Schaffer."

Daniel: Daniel shot his hand into the hair. "Here," he called.

Professor Collins: Professor Collins nodded at Daniel and marked him present. "And Elizabeth." Her last name was not on the roll for some reason, but she found the student who shared her name and marked her present. "Now that that's done, open you books to page 432."

Diamond: Diamond turned to the correct page, and stared at her history book, but was looking out the corner of her eyes at the kids around her. She was rather terrified, it had been so long since she had been in a class setting like this, surrounded by a bunch of strangers. Academically, she knew she would do well, for she had always went to the library, even when she lived on the streets. Hesitating, she observed her new teacher. She seemed nice. Must be, to teach freaks of nature like me she thought. Then she woke up from her musings and tried to look busy reading the history book, which wasn't hard since history was one of her favorite subjects, along with language and art.

She looked at the girl curiously before dropping her pencil and rolling her eyes aggravated she leaned over and picked it up.

Jack: Jack turned to the correct page in his book slowly before watching the presentation bored. He leaned forward and rested his cheek on his hand while watching.
