Margo: Margo searched through all the reunions, hoping to see her family, but just as she had expected, they weren't there. She knew a plane ticket could never be afforded, so she wasn't surprised. Instead, she just made her way over to Alex, who also didn't have someone yet, half smiled at her, and shrugged.

Alex: Alex smiled back at Margo but decided to try and lighten the mood for them both. She stretched out her hand with a smile," Hello, welcome to Parent's Night. My name is Alex."

Alex: Alex smiled watching River run to her grandmother but turned back and watched with a slight smile as Toby's mother and father walked up. Hearing that Toby's sister wasn't coming made Alex frown but she quickly pushed it away as she held her hands behind her back and watched the family in front of her reunite.

Toby: Toby smiled, and hugged his mom again. Then seeing Alex out of the corner of his eye said "mom, dad, this is Alex" he gestured toward her and gave her an encouraging look.

Mr. Kay: "oh, is this your girlfriend?" he asked casually.

Toby: Toby turned and looked at Alex with a smile and a look that said 'I told you so'. "no" Toby answered "she's my best friend."

Mrs. Kay: As if following a script Mrs Kay added "well why isn't she your girlfriend she's awfully pretty?"

Toby: Toby smiled, and hugged his mom again. Then seeing Alex out of the corner of his eye said "mom, dad, this is Alex" he gestured toward her and gave her an encouraging look.

Mr. Kay: "oh, is this your girlfriend?" he asked casually.

Toby: Toby turned and looked at Alex with a smile and a look that said 'I told you so'. "no" Toby answered "she's my best friend."

Mrs. Kay: As if following a script Mrs Kay added "well why isn't she your girlfriend she's awfully pretty?"

Alex: Alex turned to Toby and his parents before telling Margo to give her a moment. She chuckled quietly at Toby listening to his parents before holding out her hand politely for a hand shake and said kindly," Hello Mr and Mrs. Kay, it's incredible to finally meet you! I've heard many things about you."

Professor Collins: Professor Collins walked into the room, smiling at everyone. She got everyone's attention, then smiled. "Hello everyone. My name is Professor Elizabeth Collins, and welcome to my school. I would like to thank you all for your support. I am pleased to have the honor of teaching these bright, talented, hard working students. Feel free to socialize, explore the grounds, or you can speak to me as well if you wish."

Alex: Alex listened as Professor Collins spoke then turned back to Toby and his family with a nervous smile, she was still trying to get over all of the nerves still left in her system.

Alex: Alex turned to Toby and his parents before telling Margo to give her a moment. She chuckled quietly at Toby listening to his parents before holding out her hand politely for a hand shake and said kindly," Hello Mr and Mrs. Kay, it's incredible to finally meet you! I've heard many things about you."

Mr. Kay: Brian shook Alex's hand and then pretending to be worried said "oh gosh, what has he told you?" he reached over to his son going to tousle his hair.

Toby: Toby dodged his father "stop" he said with a smile but wide eyes.

Rose Carson: Rose listened to Elizabeth Collins talk and asked River "so, what do you think of the professor here? Do you like her?" Rose hadn't seen Elizabeth since the accident with her son and daughter-in-law.

River: "she's great" River answered honestly not ready to tell her grandma what the professor had told her about he parents yet.

Nate: Nate and his family made their way over to a couch and sat down. His parents sat on one side of him, holding hands, and his mom put her other arm around Nate. One of his sisters sat on Nate's other side, while the other sat on the other end of the couch. They were the picture perfect family, talking about Nate's time, joking around, and laughing.

Margo: With all the families together, Margo wandered around alone. She found herself near Jack. She didn't say anything, she just didn't want to stand all alone with everyone else together.

Alex: Alex looked at Toby with her lips pursed before looking back at his mother," I'm sorry but my parents won't be coming tonight. It seems you're stuck with only I tonight."

Jack: Jack chuckled before nodding his head in agreement looking at all the families. "Yeah it does, but at least our friends seem to be happy," He said noticing Alex talking to a woman and man.

Alex: Alex looked at Toby with her lips pursed before looking back at his mother," I'm sorry but my parents won't be coming tonight. It seems you're stuck with only I tonight."

Brian Kay: Brian smiled "that's fine dear" he said wondering why the question seemed to have struck Toby oddly.

Brian Kay: Brian turned to his son "so, how is the school here, are you learning a lot?"

Toby: Toby shrugged "yeah, a lot about my powers especially" he said.

Andrea Kay: Andrea nudged her son with her shoulder and said teasingly "so, straight A's?"

Toby: This was a common question to which Toby nudged his mom back and answered in the same way "nope."

Andrea: Andrea shook her head, smiled and rolled her eyes slightly.

Toby: Toby shrugged "yeah, a lot about my powers especially" he said.

Andrea: Andrea shook her head, smiled and rolled her eyes slightly.

Alex: Alex laughed slightly at Toby and his mother before smiling. She thought tonight would be nerve wracking and sad, but even though it was nerve wracking at first, Alex was actually happy. She loved Toby's parents and hoped they liked her.
