Toby: Toby nodded to Alex and smiled. He followed her.

River: River smiled at the boys conversation. "I'm always willing to try new things" she said with a smile.

Alex: Alex quickly grabbed a bottle of water from the fridge and walked into the dining room. "Hey all," She said cheerfully before sitting down next to Jack.

Jack: Jack chuckled before joking to River," I could see you weight lifting. What do you think you could bench, 250? 300 pounds?" When Alex and Toby walked in Jack smiled slightly at them both but grinned at Alex when she sat by him. "Hey Blondie."

Nate: "I don't know, maybe. I think the reason why I've never been into lifting or running or that sort of stuff is that it's more against yourself. I mean, I guess you can see who can lift more, but you really just like to see if you can do more than you did last time. I like beating other people. No fun just to beat myself over and over," Nate said with a cheeky smile.

Jack: Jack laughed at Nate then grinned at him amused," True, very true. Never thought about it that way."

Toby: Toby smiled as he walked in. He sat on the other side of Alex which he had become accustomed to.

River: River pretended to think about it "350 probably" she said seriously, then she broke into a wide joking smiled. She smiled as Toby and Alex came back in. She wondered why they had left earlier.

Toby: Toby watched as Jack swung his arm over Alex's chair. He considered bragging to Jack about how he could lift any number of weights thrown at him, but decided against it staying quiet.

Alex: Alex laughed at River before she grinned up at Jack and the others and said proudly,"I bet Toby could lift ten times the weight anyone could. I've seen him use his strength and it's pretty impressive." She chuckled before adding," I can barely lift twenty pounds without needing a break."

Jack: Jack smiled as Alex spoke proudly of her best friend and chuckled, "I don't doubt any of that. Especially how weak you are babe." He laughed when Alex swatted at his chest and lowered his arm draped over the chair so it was hung lazily over Alex's shoulders.

Nate: Nate laughed at the conversation. "Hey, that wouldn't be that far fetched at this school!"

Alex: Alex smiled and chuckled," It wouldn't be at all actually. That would be so cool though! Being related to any superhero would be cool actually."

Nate: "Yeah, that would be awesome! Maybe powers run in some families. I wonder how I got my powers. I didn't have any major accident, but I wasn't born with them either. I just woke up one day and had them. It's a mystery. Does anyone know how they got theirs?"

Alex: Alex leaned into Jack's arm quietly and traced shapes into his skin with her finger, ignoring the question. She didn't know how she got her powers but he always thought her parents must have had some type of powers if they knew Alex would be able to control all of the elements before she even knew herself.

Jack: Jack looked down at Alex with worry when she became silent but decided not to ask now. Turning back to Nate he said simply," My mom has the same power as me so I got mine from her." He wrapped his arm around Alex tighter protectively and rubbed circles with his thumb on her shoulder for comfort.

Alex: Alex laughed with her before saying playfully," Be on mine. I'm smarter, have a better defense and frankly, I'm cuter." She looked at Serefima smiling before looking up at Jack and stuck her tongue out.

Jack: Jack smiled down at Alex before looking at Serefima and shrugged," She's got a point. She's really cute." He looked down at Alex seeing her blush and look anywhere but up at him making him chuckle before turning back to Serefima. "But obviously I'm smarter." He laughed again when Alex pinched his arm.

Toby: Toby looked down modestly when Alex complimented his strength. He couldn't help but feel himself tense up slightly as Jack moved himself closer to Alex an when he tried to comfort her when she got quiet. It bothered him because he knew why she was upset. Jack didn't. When Jack asked about getting powers he responded "I discovered mine when I was really young. My mom asked me to clean up my room and I lifted my bed up to put stuff under it. She came in and freaked out. I was 5. I don't know if that's when I got them, or if I just hadn't discovered them until then."

Alex: Alex laughed and looked at Toby with a smile,"You would find out about your parents in a weird way. Just casually lift up a bed to put junk under." She chuckled again before turning to River as she spoke. Alex only sent her a smile as a response not thinking of a way to relate to her.

Nate: "Wow, a lot more of you than I thought there would be got powers from parents. I guess I just figured a lot of the most famous heroes got it from something like a spider bite or a science experiment gone wrong. My parents are the most average people you'll ever meet, so I figure I got mine some other way. Maybe I got bit or something, since mine's animal related, but i really don't know. Do you have any ideas about yours, Toby?"

Margo: Margo felt much more calm after a sitting on the cliff for a while. She considered going back to the school, but decided not to. Instead, she stood up, and launched herself over the cliff. It was a spur of the moment thing, and it felt great. Right before she hit the water, Margo pulled up again, flying into the sky. She flew in and out of clouds for a while, letting all her stress disappear for now.

Alex: Alex grinned," I'm the same way. Except I had bunk beds so I shoved everything in the closet." She looked at Nate then at Toby again with excited eyes," Maybe you were bitten by a radioactive monkey! But you can't remember the bite because the monkey used another one of its powers to erase your memory of the event!"

Jack: Jack couldn't stop himself from laughing at Alex's suggestion then smiling at her when she glared at him. "You can't blame me Lexi, a radioactive monkey? That can erase memories?"

Alex: Alex slumped back into his arm and pouted. "It could happen," She mumbled childishly making Jack smile in amusement again.

Nate: Nate laughed at Alex's suggestion. "That might be the best explanation I have right now." He kidded. "Wanna hear how I discovered mine?" Nate asked, then launched into his story. "I had accidentally gotten this older guy really mad at me by saying something I shouldn't have. He punched me, but I couldn't fight back cause he was so much bigger, so I ran. He and some of his friends chased me. I rounded a corner, and it was a dead end, but a little dog was sitting there. I just though 'wouldn't it be great to be a dog right now' and suddenly I was. Those guys spent forever looking for me. The only problem was, I couldn't figure out how to change back for three days. Those were a long three days."
