Toby: "firstly my parents don't hate anyone" he said smiling. Then he added "I can't lie to you, they probably will ask. Just tell them what you want to, and if you ever feel comfortable enough to tell them the truth, which you don't have to ever, then you can." he paused smiled at her and then said "please."

Alex: Alex smiled timidly still looking at the water before looking back up at Toby, her smile widening a bit. "Toby, I'd love to spend the summer with you. It would be incredible to spend the summer with my big brother, I was just afraid of your parents I guess." Then softly she added,"Maybe one day I might tell them. It would be nice to have adults know something true about me."

Alex: Alex smiled timidly still looking at the water before looking back up at Toby, her smile widening a bit. "Toby, I'd love to spend the summer with you. Toby: "I'll ask them tonight" he said smiling "after they meet you". He looked at her again and added "i promise you if you tell them the truth they won't push you away."

Alex: Alex's smile turned into a small grin,"You didn't push me away so I actually believe you this time." She paused a moment before whining slightly,"I have to make a great first impression though! I can't be clumsy at all. With my luck I'll drop something messy on me right before I meet your parents, I can't wear anything white. I'll have to wear my best, be charming, be funny."

Alex: Alex's smile turned into a small grin,"You didn't push me away so I actually believe you this time." She paused a moment before whining slightly,"I have to make a great first impression though! I can't be clumsy at all. With my luck I'll drop something messy on me right before I meet your parents, I can't wear anything white. I'll have to wear my best, be charming, be funny."

Toby: Toby smiled "like I said I'm always right" he said laughing slightly to show he was kidding. "you'll be fine" then he added quietly "I've probably made my parents out to sound worse then they are."

Alex: Alex laughed lightly at Toby before becoming silent and frowning. Hearing him she furrowed her eyebrows before getting slightly anxious beginning to think she had implied that his parents were unpleasant people. "Oh Toby, you haven't made them sound like bad people if that's what you mean. Actually, they sound very kind. It's just my crazy nerves. I'm always saying dumb things when I'm nervous and I didn't mean to make it seem like I thought your parents were bad people and you certainly didn't and I'm sorry," She babbled quickly with slightly wide, worried eyes.

Alex: Alex laughed lightly at Toby before becoming silent and frowning. Hearing him she furrowed her eyebrows before getting slightly anxious beginning to think she had implied that his parents were unpleasant people. "Oh Toby, you haven't made them sound like bad people if that's what you mean. Actually, they sound very kind. It's just my crazy nerves. I'm always saying dumb things when I'm nervous and I didn't mean to make it seem like I thought your parents were bad people and you certainly didn't and I'm sorry," She babbled quickly with slightly wide, worried eyes.

"I just meant, well I feel like I always talk about how they won't let me be my own person, how they want me to be a doctor, and how they seem to want me to have a girlfriend now, how they always expect straight A's. Stuff like that, I feel like I always focus on the bad things rather than all that they have done for me" he said moving the water with his hands.

Finally she spoke in a sort of serious voice,"I've always noticed that with kids, whether they're teenagers or younger children, they focus on the things their parents do that make them angry or annoyed. But, what I think, is focusing on the bad things is actually good. Because a lot of those bad things are the parents wanting what's best for their child, they're just doing it in their own way." She shrugged lightly before sighing,"At least that's what I think. You aren't being selfish, or rude, or forgetting what your parents have done for you, you're just dealing with it normally. If any if that makes sense."

He knew that family and friends were important to him, more than ever since he got to this school. Why then did he still care about how people saw him, why did he worry about be seen as a nerd or a teachers pet, why did he still worry that someone might see him wearing his glasses. With that he let go of Alex and dunked himself completely under that water. He came up his hair now soaked and flat against his head. He let out a sigh and smiled at Alex.

Toby: Toby didn't know quite how to react. He wrapped his arms around Alex. "you're amazing" he said simply. Alex: Alex smiled before her eyes went wide when Toby grabbed her legs before she was brought underwater. Swimming back to the surface with a light gasp she pouted angrily with her bangs covering her eyes. "Toby!" She shouted accusingly while crossing her arms.

OOC: Oh, okay, cool. I have plans for Daniel, but let's say that Max has been being Max, and was off alone.

Max: Max lay on her beach towel, in the sun, a little aways from everyone else. Max just didn't have the heart to pretend she was happy and have fun. Why try to be so high and reach the sky if she was just going to plummett even farther?

Daniel: Daniel was exploring to the south, looking around at the coves. He didn't really know what he was doing here. He just got curious, bored, and was paranoid that everyone would secretly condemn him if he spent too much time with River. So here he was, having wandered off. Then, he came to one cove, and there was a dolphin, just hanging out. Daniel stopped short and staared in surprise. No way! It saw him, but it seemed to be lazy and didn't swim away. Daniel began to approach, then Daniel recalled a conversation with River, about how she'd always wanted to see a dolphin. He slowly backed away to make sure it didn't go anywhere, then he teleported.

Alex: Alex smiled and moved her bangs out of her face showing her eyes,"No worries, it was pretty funny actually. Just didn't like the part where I almost got water in my mouth." She laughed slightly before quickly looking around the beach,"I wonder how everyone's liking the beach day so far. It's been pretty eventful for myself honestly, but I wonder if everyone else has liked it."

River: River sat on the beach alone looking at the shells she had collected, she wondered where Daniel was and what he was doing. She knew she couldn't and shouldn't spend every moment with him, but she couldn't stop thinking about him. She jumped when she saw him teleport near her.

Daniel: Daniel appeared a few feet from River and ran over to her, an excited expression on his face. "River! You have to come see this!"
