Toby: "that looks like a pretty deep, and straight, cut, how did you say you hurt it again, combat class?" he said looking at her shoulder.

River: River reached Max and grabbed her right hand helping her up. "come on max let's go get a new bandage." she said calmly.

Max: "Yeah, that's right. There were - I guess you could call them robots - last class." Max was confident in herself, but she was unsure about how good River's acting was.

River: "yeah, umm..robots" River said, she wasn't lying she tried telling herself, there were robots they just weren't what hurt Max. She looked at Max "come on" she said leading her to the school.

Max: Max kept walking, muttering, "You'd think I was two.....I'm fourteen for goodness sakes!" It distracted her from the thought that River might not have convinced Toby. He had to be convinced. Because if he wasn't, he'd become suspicious. He'd ask questions. And questions were never good for someone who was as big of a liar, as big of a secret keeper, as this dark haired army brat.

Max: Max kept walking, muttering, "You'd think I was two.....I'm fourteen for goodness sakes!" It distracted her from the thought that River might not have convinced Toby. He had to be convinced. Because if he wasn't, he'd become suspicious. He'd ask questions. And questions were never good for someone who was as big of a liar, as big of a secret keeper, as this dark haired army brat.

Max: Max found her messenger bag. She pulled bandages out of one of the side pockets. "Just need to find a bathroom," she muttered.

River: River looked at Daniel and half-smiled. "yeah, I'm alright." she said, and she was alright. It was Max that she was worried about. But she pushed those thoughts from her mind, Max seemed to know what she was doing, and when she gave her the explanation as to why she did what she did it made sense. River looked at Daniel again and smiled.
