Toby: Toby stood up and dusted himself off. he walked back toward the school planning on going up to his room when he saw Alex sitting on the ground looking annoyed. He walked up to where she was and sat next to her. "you okay?" he asked her.

River: River looked around at the woods and smiled.

Alex: Alex looked at him next to her and her eyes slightly widened, and a blush of embarrassment spread across her pale cheeks. She was embarrassed that he could have seen her throw a bit of a tantrum and the fire in her hand stopped. "Oh, yeah I'm fine. Just a little aggravated thats all." She smiled at him to show she was fine and put a stray strand of her blonde hair behind her ear.

Alex: Alex looked at him next to her and her eyes slightly widened, and a blush of embarrassment spread across her pale cheeks. She was embarrassed that he could have seen her throw a bit of a tantrum and the fire in her hand stopped. "Oh, yeah I'm fine. Just a little aggravated thats all." Alex: "Yes sir. Well, one of them," Alex said then realized how that sounded mysterious even to herself. She giggled a bit and smiled explaining,"I can control the elements, or at least I should learn how."

Alex: Alex shrugged modestly and smiled,"Thanks, but there are plenty of other people with much cooler powers than I. If you don't mind me asking, what is your power? You don't have to tell me if you don't want to, I know some people like to keep their powers to themselves."

Toby: "no I don't mind, I think when I got sent to this school I gave up keeping my power a secret. Anyway it's strength. That's my power." he said shrugging.

She continued to grin until she realized she was speaking fast and blushed once again in embarrassment,"Sorry about that."

Alex: Alex grinned when he said his power and turned so she was in front of him sitting. Her excitement clearly shone on her eyes as she said, "Strength? That is so cool! I've always wondered what it would be like to be strong, can you pick up cars? Can you punch a wall? Oh my fudge, can you throw a huge rock?" She continued to grin until she realized she was speaking fast and blushed once again in embarrassment,"Sorry about that."

Toby: "no it's totally fine" he said smiling at her, "I wish I got that excited about my power. Let's see, honestly I've never tried picking up a car before. It would be kind of hard to explain if someone saw." he said laughing a little. "I can definitely punch walls. But let's just say my parents told me not to after the first time i did. They didn't like having to repair a hole through the wall. And yes, I can pick up and throw huge rocks." he said not mentioning that he had done this just a little earlier.

Alex smiled shyly and let the blade of grass fall from her slender fingers and flipped her side swept bangs out of her eyes.

It makes me think that we're not alone, y'know? That here we can't be judged because we're different because unlike in the outside world, we aren't different here." Alex smiled shyly and let the blade of grass fall from her slender fingers and flipped her side swept bangs out of her eyes.

Toby: "that's a nice way of putting it" Toby said smiling. He looked around and his eyes landing on a huge rock a few feet away "okay, if you really want to see" he said standing. He walked over to the rock and wrapped his arms around it. He looked at Alex as if saying "ready?" then he looked down at the rock and lifted it easily. He held it over his head and hurled it away from him and Alex.

Toby: "that's a nice way of putting it" Toby said smiling. He looked around and his eyes landing on a huge rock a few feet away "okay, if you really want to see" he said standing. He walked over to the rock and wrapped his arms around it. He looked at Alex as if saying "ready?" then he looked down at the rock and lifted it easily. He held it over his head and hurled it away from him and Alex.

Alex: Alex jumped up grinning and clapped. "That was so cool! Brilliant!" She looked in the direction he threw the rock and her smile grew eve more. " wish I could do that!"

I don't think I've asked a simple question like that while being here." She chuckles before turning her head to look at him.
