Toby: Toby smiled at Alex, he was really glad she seemed to like his parents.

Andrea: Andrea smiled at Alex's description of her power. Trying to think of something to say she said "so Alex, do you have any big plans this summer?"

Toby: Jumping in Toby said "well actually, mom, dad, I was wondering of Alex could stay with us this summer" he said nervously awaiting an answer.

Brian: Brian looked at his wife "we'll think about it" he answered.

Andrea: Andrea joined in "would your parents be okay with that?" she asked Alex.

Alex: Alex smiled nervously but shook her head. "My parents wouldn't really mind. I never get to see them anyway and this summer I was planning on staying somewhere away from them this summer while they find us a new home near their jobs," She said smoothly but inside Alex felt guilty for lying. She had no idea she would actually get along with Toby's parents so well so lying to them wasn't as easy as it would be to other people.

Alex: Alex smiled nervously but shook her head. "My parents wouldn't really mind. I never get to see them anyway and this summer I was planning on staying somewhere away from them this summer while they find us a new home near their jobs," She said smoothly but inside Alex felt guilty for lying. She had no idea she would actually get along with Toby's parents so well so lying to them wasn't as easy as it would be to other people.

Toby: Toby smile slightly hoping his parents would say yes. He realized that secretly he had really hoped that Alex would tell his parents the truth. "please?" he asked feeling like a little kid asking if a friend could stay over.

Andrea: Andrea looked at her husband then Alex then her son. "we'll think about it." she said then added "it's not that I don't believe that its okay with your parents Alex. But I'd really like to at least talk to them before having you stay with us for three months."

Toby: Toby's stomach dropped. Why hadn't they thought of this. Of course his parents would want confirmation from Alex's parents.

Toby: Toby looked back at Alex with the same expression, he moved to sit on the other arm of the couch so he was next to Alex now. He put a hand on her shoulder encouraging her.

Brian: Brian looked around the group trying to figure out what was going on, he knew something was.

Alex: Alex sighed before looking at Brian and Andria with a small smile. "Um, I suppose I have something to tell you both. But please don't be angry at Toby for not telling you, be angry with me.I just have never told anyone this except for Toby and it's pretty hard for me to talk about it. But I promise it's nothing bad or dangerous," She looked at both of them once more to see how they react so far.

Serefima: Serefima relaxed. "Thanks," she said, letting go of her necklace and smiling.

Margo: "Hey," Margo said to Serefima as she walked up. Now they had a group of three with families not there. Margo wondered if Serefima and Jack had families who couldn't make it, like herself, or if they were orphans.

As they entered the common room Alex sat down in a single chair while biting her lip nervously instead of her fingernail.

Toby: Toby sat across from Alex on a couch with both of his parents. He looked down to avoid the looks both of his parents kept giving him. He wanted to answer their confused looks but knew he couldn't.

I have been an orphan for as long as I can remember, and I can't remember my parents before I was left at an orphanage when I was a year old. Every year I move to a different orphanage in a different state, I started that hoping to find my parents but after seven states I gave up hope. Toby is the closest thing I've ever had to a family, I see him as an older brother, and when he asked if I could spend the summer with you I was excited because I really do want to know what its like to be in a real family. I understand if you are angry at me and don't want me to come for the summer or even want me to be friends with Toby," She finished with her eyes locked on hrr hands in her lap and her hair in her face.

Toby: After listening to Alex Toby looked up quickly as he heard his mom move next to him where is she going? He thought panicked.

Andrea: Andrea stood up and walked over to Alex. She bent down and wrapped both of her arms around her shoulders "why would we be angry with you" she ask quietly and with care in her voice "you didn't do anything wrong."

OOC: Ok, thanks! I might start soon. I don't really have time right now.

Alex: Alex blinked rapidly a couple times before cautiously hugging Andrea back. "But I lied?" She said confused making it sound like a question. Alex looked up at Toby confused before looking at his father.

Andrea: Andrea continued hugging Alex and said "Alex we all have secrets in our lives. Things we don't want people to know. You're right, you did lie. But the important thing is that you told the truth. You don't have to be ashamed of not having a family, we won't judge you for it." She looked at her husband and continued "we would never ask you to stop being friends with Toby, and honestly I think you're great for him." She looked toward her son "I've never seen him so happy before." She stood up "we'll still have to think about you staying with us over the summer of course, and talk about it together. But I'd say there's definitely a possibility of that happening.

Toby: Toby smiled at his mom as she spoke, he loved her so much for what she was doing. At the mention of him he looked down and smiled.
