Toby: Toby looked at himself in the mirror, he had showered and now wore a green long sleeve button down dress shirt and a dark tie with the same color green stripes through it. He had on black dress pants, and shoes, and his hair was done to the extent to which it was on the first day he had arrived. He was nervous, but he wasn't sure why. He knew in the back of his mind he wanted his sister to show up, but closer to the front of his mind he knew she wasn't going to. He opened the door to his room and with one more look in the mirror stepped outside. He planned to wait for Alex knowing parents night would not be easy for her.

River: River finished showering and getting ready, she wore a black knee length dress with tank top like sleeves and a high cut neck. She put on black flats and went to her suitcase grabbing a thin piece of light fabric, the scarf was a light aqua blue and had the faint pattern of dolphins covering it. She tied the scarf around her neck and pulled her hair into a tight side braid. She hoped her grandma was coming, but she wished she didn't for her grandma's sake. She looked at Max and smiled.

The students laughed, joked, played, talked, had fun and hung out for the rest of the afternoon. Max hung back and stayed away from the others, embarrassed and angry. Daniel meanwhile stayed with his girlfriend and his new friends and fellow classmates. Professor Collins took care of a few minor things but mostly enjoyed some peace and quiet and observed the students. They seemed to be getting along well with each other for the most part, and that would be important in normal life and in the event that something happened. Professor Collins was no fool; the school was isolated, true, but she could only protect the island so much, and she knew that if the true identity of the school was public knowledge, there would be people who wouldn't be above hurting children if it meant less superheroes. She tried not to think about it though, and instead focused on the night ahead.

At around five, she had called all students back to the mansion and had them cleaning the entire building, and even she joined in. The students were reluctant to do the work, but when Professor Collins told the students they could use their powers as long as they didn't kill each other, they found that the work was more bearable and was finished more quickly than if they had not used their powers. Once the building was cleaned and decorated, she released the students to get ready. Professor Collins even dressed nicely, she wore a black floor length and long sleeved dress and black high heeled shoes, and looked classy and dignified.

Max: Max had showered, brushed her hair, and put on a sleeveless knee length white dress with an army green ribbon around the high waist. She also slid on white sandals before rejoining her classmates in the great hall to wait fort the parents. She had barely spoken a word, but she was clearly on edge, and it was a barely readable, but anyone who paid attention to her blue eyes long enough would see a faint glimmer of what looked like nervousness or fear.

Daniel: Daniel had also showered, and was wearing a blue collard shirt, a black tie, and khaki slacks and black shoes. He was smiling, but he was nervous. He hoped his mother approved of the school, he was the one who had found it, applied, been invited and begged to go. He also wondered if his brothers would be in attendance, and he hoped that no one found out about him and River. Of course the other students knew, but he didn't want the parents to, that would be embarrassing.

Serefima: Serefima felt a pit in her stomach as she got ready for the night. She would have no parents coming. She didn't know her dad, and her mom... teared swelled in her eyes as she stared at herself in the mirror. Would she be happy? She hoped so... she really did. She grabbed a purse and decided to go and talk to the other students, feeling empty inside.

Alex: Alex made a face picturing somebody really being splinched," I hope it didn't. I didn't like reading about or seeing anyone being splinched, let alone have one of my friends and his family be splinched."

Jack: Jack smirked and looked down at Alex," You read Harry Potter?" He pinched her cheek and teased," Aw, are you my little nerd shortcake?"

Alex: Alex slapped away Jack's hand away with a bright blush before looking away from him. "Ha ha, you're so funny," She said sarcastically.

Max: Max gave River a quick, terse nod when River smiled at her, but did nothing else and looked away. She was quite tense.

Alex: Alex had tried more than her best to make herself look presentable for all of the parents, especially Toby's since they were her best friends parents. She took a shower and changed into a strapless purple dress that went to above her knees. The top was a darker purple with a dark bedazzled flower on the top and the skirt was a lighter color of purple that flowed nicely to right above her knees. She spent most of her time though, curling her naturally super straight hair in waves. She slipped on her black ballet flats before putting on mascara making her already bright green eyes pop out more, a little nervous to stand with the other students to wait.

Jack: After a quick shower, Jack slipped on a white dress shirt and matching black dress pants with a black tie hung loosely around his neck. It was the only appropriate outfit he had since it used to be his fathers before he left. He styled his hair with gel so it looked naturally messy with his only other pair of shoes he had, classic black Vans. He ran out wanting to meet Alex on their way to the other students.

Daniel: Daniel grinned. "I'd wanted to use the splinched reference, I just didn't know if anyone would get it," he said, ignoring Jack.

Max: Max gave River a quick, terse nod when River smiled at her, but did nothing else and looked away. She was quite tense.

River: River's smile fell, she knew that Max was not looking forward to tonight, and she understood, and least to some extent, why.

Serefima: After staring at her reflection, unsure if she liked it, she walked out of the room and began to head to where she'd meet the other students. Her necklace jingled slightly as the silver chains rattled. Bored, as she walked, she held out her hand. A tiny flame danced in her palm. It helped relax her, to see it dance freely, and feel it warm her body.

Margo: After she showered, Margo got on a simple blue dress. She dried her curly, long hair, and actually bothered to make it look nice for once. She never wore it down, but thought it pretty for once, so did. She looked over at Alex getting ready and said, "You look so pretty!"


Nate: Nate showered, then got on his dress shirt and pants. He tied a tie, combed his dirty blonde hair, reminding himself to cut it short again soon, then went outside and sunk into a couch.

Toby: Toby smiled seeing Alex, "you look nice" he said honestly. Then lowering his voice so only she could hear he said "you'll be fine, just stay with me and my parents all night if you want" he said answering something Alex hadn't asked.

Alex: Alex smiled and looked at her feet at Toby," Thank you." Listening to Toby's lowered voice she nodded and smiled at him thankfully. "Thanks a lot Toby," She said quietly before saying louder looking him over," You look really good too."

River: River's smile fell, she knew that Max was not looking forward to tonight, and she understood, and least to some extent, why.

OOC: are River and Max in their room?

OOC: Everyone is gathering in the main hall.

Professor Collins: The professor entered the room and smiled at her students. "If I may say, ladies you look very beautiful, gents you look rather handsome. I just got word from our helicopter pilot, he's brining over the first families. I'll be back." Then the professor walked away.

Alex: Alex smiled and looked at her feet at Toby," Thank you." Listening to Toby's lowered voice she nodded and smiled at him thankfully. "Thanks a lot Toby," She said quietly before saying louder looking him over," You look really good too."

Toby: Toby smiled "you're welcome" he said sincerely, at her compliment he scrunched his eye brows slightly and said "thanks".

Alex: Alex had grinned at Margo. "Thanks! You look beautiful, Mar! Your hair looks really pretty," She had complimented.

Margo: Margo smiled. "Thanks!" The complement really helped boost her confidence about the night. In the main hall, everyone looked so great. She wondered what everyone's parents would be like.

Professor Collins: The professor entered the room and smiled at her students. "If I may say, ladies you look very beautiful, gents you look rather handsome. I just got word from our helicopter pilot, he's brining over the first families. I'll be back." Then the professor walked away.

River: River smiled at the professor. She stood by Daniel leaning into him slightly, and knowing that by how they were standing it was most likely noticeable they were a couple. She knew that once parents arrived that they, but mostly Daniel did not want that to be known. She would step away once parents came in.

Soon, because the island wasn't too far from the coast, not by air anyway, they began to hear the noise of the helicopter as it grew closer and then started to descend to land on the helipad.

Max: Max was trying and failing to hide her tension and nervousness. Her jaw was set, and every limb was tense.

Professor Collins: The professor entered the room and smiled at her students. "If I may say, ladies you look very beautiful, gents you look rather handsome. I just got word from our helicopter pilot, he's brining over the first families. I'll be back." Then the professor walked away.

Serefima: Serefima watched the Professor come and leave. She looked around, searching for someone to talk to. She didn't want to end up standing alone in the middle of the room. How embarrassing would that be? More embarrassing than passing out on the beach, that was for sure.

River: River smiled at the professor. She stood by Daniel leaning into him slightly, and knowing that by how they were standing it was most likely noticeable they were a couple. She knew that once parents arrived that they, but mostly Daniel did not want that to be known. She would step away once parents came in.

Daniel: Daniel wrapped an arm silently around his girlfriend's shoulders and gave her a reassuring squeeze. River would have her grandmother, but he knew she would still miss her parents tonight.
