Toby: Toby smiled slightly and said "oh, that makes sense" it did, kinda. But Toby had trouble wrapping his head around what it would be like living Alex's life, since his had been so different. It made him feel odd thinking about his best friend being 'missing' and people looking for her.

Alex: Alex grinned and giggled,"I'll tell you what's weird though, try being bullied by someone and each insult they say isn't even to yourself. Or when someone is yelling for you for something important yet you keep walking away and shout for them to just walk to the person and quit yelling. Everyone thought I was a freak!" She laughed to herself and shook her head, looking at the sky for a moment.

He watched Jack jog to catch up with them, well to catch up with Alex, Toby had the feeling he couldn't care less about him. Alex: Alex grinned at Toby,"Guess it is only the cool kids! Seeing as Jack here is such a loser." She smiled at Jack teasingly.

Jack: Jack grinned showing his dimples and rolled his eyes,"Whatever. I'm so much cooler than you shrimp." He smiled wider seeing her roll her eyes with a light blush and nudged her playfully.

Alex was like the sister he never had, and unlike his birth sister she actually seemed to care about him. Toby looked at Alex and replied "I only took a piece of it!" in a childish voice, then he broke character smile and looked down as his feet hit pure sand. He stopped and took his shoes off letting the sand touch his bare feet.
