We have been having such unbelievably warm weather here lately. Last Saturday, it was something like 86 degrees!! The normal high for this time of year is right around 60 degrees.

When me and the boys left the house this morning at 6:30 a.m., it was 74 degrees out!! A cold front was moving in, and by the time I dropped the boys off at school and reached work, the temperature had dropped all the way down to 51 degrees!! And now it is holding steady at about 47.

That cold front in combination with a warm front to the north of us is causing severe severe weather in central indiana (right where I am) this afternoon into night.
They are basically saying a tornado will happen somewhere in central indiana, we just dont' know where.

We are finally getting some snow. The ground is still pretty warm so it is just melting when it hits the ground though :sad2: . The forecast says that the temps are suppose to drop into the low 20's by this evening and continue to snow then the winds are suppose to pick up to 40+mph creating blizzard conditions. We had record high temps on Friday.

Yeah, last night and early into this morning, the conditions here were very conducive for severe weather. Fortunately, about the extent of the severe weather were a few thunderstorms.

Plus, the wind has switched around and is now coming from the north. And it is strong. Gusting to about 40 - 50 mph at times. bbbrrrrrr....

Send some here. Feels more like June than November and I'm tired of it! Just came in from recess duty and I'm sweatin like a pig! Come on....give us a little taste down here.....something in the 60's at least..........

Hey Pozey...where in Oklahoma are you at? We're in Lawton and everyone kept talking about this wicked cold front that was coming through. Made it sound like we were going to freeze overnight. It did cool down...into the low 40's...but it's in the 50's now and gorgeous. Of course, I love fall weather so I might be a bit biased. Guess I was getting sick of wearing shorts in November and was expecting it to be a little colder when I got out of bed. :)

It is knocking on my windows and doors right now. 30mph winds out there dropping to 50ish degrees. Which is not cold but the people in Texas think it is.
I have to keep reminding myself when they say "cold front" it doesn't mean it is dipping into the 30's here. The sun is also out.
North Texas has great weather.

If you're looking for some extra snow, it dropped here in Colorado last night.

My teens have no school today because of blowing and drifting snow. Roads were pretty icy this morning. We had the bad luck of having furnace problems on Sunday, but fortunately got them fixed before the snow came!!

It's almost 11 AM and it's only 44 right now with a wind. BRRRRR!! Supposed to be in the twenties tonight.

Your cold front has now moved our way. The temp this morning was 73 degrees. It's now high 50's but dropping steadily. Very windy too! Brrrrrr. Almost time to bring out the hot chocolate!

I'm in Broken Arrow.

The weather here can simply be described as "Blustery". The temperature is right around 50 degrees, but it is overcast and there is about a 30 mile per hour north wind blowing. I am usually warm blooded, but it is very chilly outside.

Lat night was freezng, and I don't mean 32 degrees. This morning I started the car in 15 degress with single digit wind chill.....that's a cold front!

Sorry that you're getting the blustery side of it. We've got lots of sunshine :sunny:. It's perfect football weather outside. :)

Oh, I'm jealous! It's 75 here right now

We're supposed to finally get cooler weather later this week. 75 tomorrow & then 53 on Thursday.

Bundle up and drive carefully!! I live near Monument Hill, and the roads are still slick.

I could only imagine how cold my house would have been if the furnace hadn't been repaired!
