Oh no! I’ve tried it with 3 or 4 different machines and it worked with all of them. I selected water first, then placed my bottle if the order matters?

We saw the same in July. We had the freestyle cups so we never tried it, but we saw people in front of us attempt to fill their own mugs or paper cups. Some machines let them, others didn’t.

Could have easily changes since then, though.

Reporting back to say I know for sure this worked at the following locations the weekend of 9/9-9/11: on the Lost Continent across from the fountain, Marvel Island across from Cafe 4, and across from the exit of Men in Black. There was one more but I can’t remember where it was.

We were able to fill our bottles with water at every freestyle machine we tried last weekend. We used ones in several restaurants and the ones that were out in the open at the carts.

They have gone back and forth on this a few times.

My guess is that people who paid for the cups don’t like to have to wait behind a group of people filling paper cups over and over.

We’ve seen that before - a family had one small paper cup, stood in front of the machine and continued to get water refills over and over.

Doesn’t take much for people to ruin a good thing
