Ok here we go AGAIN! Well actually its the Schrivers not the Clampetts going and unfortunately we lack the financial resources of Jed and the kinfolk, oh well. The good news is after a 3 year Disney hiatus we're going back for a 5 night/6 day stay at Port Orleans Riverside with dining. We've always stayed at Pop in the past but with the new deal released today in fact it's a mere $200 difference.
We've been thinking about the kids and Christmas and that the little "darlings" are quite spoiled rotten and other than the usual request for cell phones , laptops and the latest video gaming device (that somehow never seem to quite make it to the next holiday season) we were at a loss to really get them something that we thought they needed. I'm tired of trying to explain to a 10 year old why she doesn't need an I-phone 5 or any phone for that matter! So here it is kiddies your getting socks and undies and a trip to Disney! If anyone isn't happy on Christmas day I'm willing to try Disney with 3 kids not 4, no problem, lol.
The fun part for DW and myself is this is going to be a surprise for Christmas day and we would welcome any ideas on how to present it to the unwashed masses.
Thus far the only plans are to leave the foothills of the Appalachian Mtns in time to drive the trusted van onto World Drive as early as possible on March 01, check into Port Orleans Riverside and pray that somehow I can go 2 weeks without a Tim's Café Mocha. The rest Im going to try to figure out and if any of you are interested I'll try and keep you posted!
Oh and if anyone has anything to add about the resort we would love to hear it! As I said before we've always stayed at POP and loved it but bigger beds bigger rooms and the trundle bed (in case theres a fist fight and you'd sooner sleep there than share with your favorite sister) I think its going to be a good move, lol.FONT]
