Hello! Welcome to my Trip Report! Let me start out with introductions-
ME
Age:24
Experience: 2nd time to WDW 1st time in 9th grade for my Grandparents 50TH wedding anniversary they took over 20 of us! It was a blast! I am a loan processor.
DH
( he is a whistler)
Age: 23
Experience: he has only been to DL and he was 8 he went for his sister’s Make a Wish trip. DH is a Bill Collector.
I don’t have any cute nicknames for him yet but I am sure that I will by the end of the trip.
Background : My DH and I got married October 21st last year and we are taking our belated Honeymoon. We decided that we wanted to buy and move into our house before we went of vacation. I have been addicted to planning this trip ever since we agreed on it last June! Many times my mom would get upset with me because I was spending too much time on the Dis or reading guidebooks and not worry about the wedding. In fact during one of our pre-marital counseling sessions my husband told the minister the only thing he thinks could drive us apart was my new found obsession with WDW! ABSURD!
On with the story…. We just closed on our house on January 17th and moved in the weekend following it. As a first time homebuyer it has been an adventure and we are still having some plumbing problems but we are happy as can be! Ok let me give you the low down of our plans-
Sat Feb 3rd- Flight arrives in Orlando about 5:30 PM check in to Pop Century no real plans hit the pool, un-pack, and hang out at the hotel.
Sun Feb 4th- Animal Kingdom
Dinner at Ohana’s
Over to MK in evening for fireworks
Mon Feb 5th – MGM
Evening plans –going to Jellyrolls
Tues Feb 6th – Magic Kingdom
Evening plans- unknown MK closes early for P & P party
Wed Feb 7th Blizzard Beach (depending on weather)
Free day mostly just to relax mid-week
Thur Feb 8th – Epcot
Evening P & P Party
Fri Feb 9th – Free day (probably back to Epcot DH thinks it will only take one day! HA!)
Evening Pleasure Island (probably BET Soundstage)
I know that some of you are thinking that we are nuts because we only have one ADR and we don’t have very specific plans. We are trying to make this a very relaxing vacation. We both live very crazy lives and are excited to have loose plans. If we walk up to a restaurant and there is too long of a wait we will just go to the next place. Since this is DH first trip I am trying not to plan our every move so that he will want to take me back for my birthday in Oct! Yes I turn 25 in October just like EPCOT!
We leave on Saturday and I can't wait! Just hoping for GREAT weather!
