the buses and breakfest

I am staying at POFQ and have planned 2 character breakfests at 8 AM
. The first is at Chef Mickey's and the 2nd at AK Breakfasturaus. When I made the ADR, they were not sure how early transportation begins, if anyone knows and have stayed there let me know how early to leave. Thanks.

Just call the front desk or guest services once you are there. They can tell you what time the first bus leaves, but I don't think you will have any problem. We had a reservation an hour before the MK opened and we caught a bus to the front gate, and still have to wait in line for a while before they would let us past the turnstiles. But you will have no problem getting there by bus--it will work.

We stayed at POR last April, and had an 8AM for Donalds. We were out at the bus stop around 7:15, and waited only about 10 minutes for an AK bus. In that time we saw two MK busses come and go, so you won't have any problem. The transportation begins in plenty of time at all the resorts to make ADR.

I would just be sure to give yourself enough time, especially for Chef Mickey's, cause you'll have to get off the bus then hop on the resort monorail.
If you are at the bus stop by 7 to 7:15 you should be fine.

I know we caught a couple at 7:15 or so. We also had a few early character breakfasts. The early buses are the least crowded and fastest to get around on, we found. We did get to the bus stop about 45 minutes before our reservations each time and made it in time for our reservations just fine. You will LOVE Breakfast O' Saurus. It was our favorite. Say yes, or make the DH or kids say yes if a character or server offers you ketchup from one of those picnicky red squeeze bottles. My DS (age 11) almost had a heart attack! LOL Goofy kissed my hand and hugged me and acted like he was stealing me from DH. Then he made an apologetic move and acted like he would shake DH's hand but psyched DH out and drew his hand back at last second. Bigger kids had autograph books to be signed and Goofy acted like he couldn't find room on our table so he used our 3 yr old DS's head as his writing table to sign all their books. It's one of that child's favorite all time memories of Disney world! Goofy used my head as a desk, he loves to say. Even the waitstaff was jovial and so into it. And all the kids devoured the buffet. Well.... not just the kids. Have fun!!!!

Actually for the early AM ADR's at Chef Mickeys (prior to MK opening time) all you have to do is board the MK bus and let the bus driver know that you have a ressie at CR for Chef Mickey's and they will drop you off at CR on the way to MK. Once MK opens you would have to walk or take the monorail, but prior to opening they will drop you off there.

As for the original question buses for all 4 parks start running by 7am (regardless of park opening time.) A lot of times if you ask the CM at the front desk they will tell you 1 hour prior to the official park opening time which "use to be" the case, but no longer is. The MK buses are usually out as early as 6:30am but in general they will all be making the rounds by 7am.
