What kind of entertainment do they have at the Boardwalk? We are planning on going on a Sunday night in February. Also where is the best place to eat there? I'm open for TS or CS meals.

OK, I know a lot of you own at the Boardwalk and can give me lots of information I want. Please, please, please. I need to know.

There are a couple of extensive boardwalk threads:

There are several restaurants on the Boardwalk and also at the Yacht & Beach Club and Swan/Dolphin. You can check those out here:

Counter Service is limited. There is the Boardwalk Bakery, there's a pizza window and there are also kiosks, those are also listed on the allears link.

There are entertainers on the boardwalk at night. Magicians, Jugglers. There are also Surrey bikes for rent.

Thank you for the response. I'm just wondering if the nightly entertainment will still be going on in February. I don't want to waste time going to the Boardwalk if nothing is happening.

BW entertainers that perform outdoors will usually be relocated to lobby if weather isn't favorable (typically at least one performer will appear in lobby). Your kids may like checking out Community Hall, which I think may be open until at least 8 or 9 pm. If you're looking for adult entertainment don't miss Jellyrolls.

Enjoy :goodvibes

We love coming home from a busy day in tje parks, grabbing an ice cream & watching the performance.
They are a littile like the streetmasphere at HS,, but mostly jugglers and comedic magicians.

If you are not staying at BWV t, I would think the best way to enjoy the Boardwalk would be to stroll around foran hour after dinner there. Maybe as a break in your HS touring.

But if you are pressed for time, you might want to skip it. Don't get me wrong we LOVE it so much at BWV that last week when we got back from there, I added 3 more days to our June trip. But, if you are going to have to break your neck t get there, it might be underwhelming.

The best scenario would be if you had already planned to hop from HS to Epcot in the same day, just boat to the Boardwalk instead of bus.

There's not that much going on, but enough for a short stop at the BW. CS dining is better in Epcot than at the BW.

The Boardwalk is lots of fun, but it depends on what time you are there. Flying Fish is one of our favorite WDW restaurants for a nice meal - for casual ESPN is fun and they have a small sports store attached (if you are interested in that) The outside perfomers are usually on the boardwalk from around dinnertime til 9 or 10 and do vary per season and depending on weather. I agree if you are not staying at BWV , it might be most efficient to go before/after time at Epcot or HS as they are both within a 10 min walk/boat ride from BWV.

Once Pleassure Island closed Disney tried to market Boardwwalk as an alternative night spot. The activities on the Boardwalk are fun but they are 20-30 min stints aimed at children but adults are entertained as well. Jelly Rolls is an adult piano bar which is a lot of fun, they do check IDs. Atlantic Dance Club starts around 9pm I think. Having had Boarlwalk views I can tell you these two clubs close at 2am!
The dining at Flying Fish is $$$$, Kat Kora's 4$$ as well. ADRs are a must.
If there is a major sporting event on the ESPN club will be packed. CS is pretty slim. There is a pizza window, a hot dog/meatball sub wagon and the bakery for quick meals.
As a pp said EPCOT offers better choices.

Another vote for Flying Fish Cafe. The potatoe-crusted Snapper is :thumbsup2.

My husband will agree with that. He ate there once while our son and I headed to DHS.

Make sure that you catch Brian ... a tall magician who is one of the 'street performers' outside along the Boardwalk. He's absoloutely hilarious and is great with involving both the kids and parents.

It was on a 'visit' to BW that my dh told me that he would buy into the vacation club at BW but nowhere else. Didn't take me long to sign up!!! In any case.....yes, there is entertainment going on at night on the boardwalk. Is it worth a special trip over? Some say yes, others say no. You may run into a juggler, a magician, a piano player..they all roam about on different nights. There are a few arcade type games available at addtl cost..basketball toss, etc. You can grab a bite to eat at ESPN, Big River Brewery, Kouzinna or Flying Fish. There truly isn't any real counter service. Joe's cart does sell hot dogs and such though.
I would head over to the BW after being at Epcot.

Flying Fish my favorite restaurant in WDW.

Love the BW....seems to be more going on with the entertainers on Fri, Sat night. 7-8 ish.

Late Dinner at Flying fish then a stroll around to the bars is a real fun night. Boardwalk is my 2nd fav resort....after WLV.:cloud9:
A split stay between them is Perfect:goodvibes

They have Karaoke nightly at Kimonos at the Swan Hotel. As other's have said... Yacht & Beach Club have great food options... Cape May is a Buffet, every night is a "Clam Bake". Beach and Cream is a great place for Ice Cream. There are nightly movies on the Beach as well.

My wife and I love grabbing some take out sushi from Kimono's and grabbing some pizza for the kids and eating it on the boardwalk.
