So, this is my very first Trip Report ever!!!!! That being said please forgive me for it! Haha. I actually feel like I missed out on so much since this is my first trip to Disney since knowing about Disboards.com. I have been about 10 times but this time....just seems really special! Plus I get to sit around reading about Disney all day with people who LOVE Disney as much as me. Hope I'm not the only one who's family gets tired of hearing about it!! A little bit about me.... The fact that I am ABLE to get extremely excited about something like I do for a Disney Vacation is a huge breath of fresh air for me. I have always been a huge Disney World fan! Went the first time when I was two and have been enchanted with it ever since :) A little over two years ago I was 3 months pregnant and my husband, who was a Marine, was killed. (Sad faces not allowed on this post! I am not looking for condolences just giving everyone a little tidbit about me) :) Now, I have an AMAZING bubbly almost 2 yr old Princess who is named after her Daddy (Corey) and she gets to have her 2nd Birthday in THE BEST PLACE EVER!!! Disney has been my go to for lifting my spirits. I am no where near being a "runner" but low and behold, last November I did the Wine and Dine Half Marathon to raise money for surviving families of fallen military. I will never look at the roads between Epcot and DAK the same again!! If I had to pick a run to do though that was it!! Here is a pic of my husband and I in Disney (Epcot at the Outpost) in 2011.....those were the days! and again in MK standing in line for Haunted Mansion And Here I am with my Mom right before doing the Wine and Dine Half Marathon!! So, since all of that happening, I actually have a boyfriend now who is pretty amazing and adores my daughter:) He is very patient and understanding of the whole situation too. I am thinking that my husband would be grateful for that.;) Now on to the Pre-trip Report!:cheer2::cheer2::cheer2: Who?? Well it will be ME...27 yr old Stay at home Mommy who LOVES all things Disney! My daughter, Corey Ann princess: She will have JUST turned 2 so this is the perfect way to celebrate! I think that she will love it. She LOVES anything on Disney Jr. and screammmms Mickey Mouse whenever she sees him! My boyfriend, Kevin

[/IMG] He has been to Disney once....when he was 5!!!! He barely remembers it. So, not only am I so excited to bring my baby girl for the first time, but to bring him for BASICALLY the first time and see his reaction! My Dad (Corey Ann's "PawPaw") and my Stepmom (Corey Ann's "Grammy") The last time they went was in 2002!!! My Dad is an avid Disney fan and loves it just as much if not more than me. I wanted my Dad to get to see Corey Ann's reaction to everything, to get to go to Disney after so long....and maybeeee to have an extra set of hands around with a 2 year old in tow :rotfl: We will be staying at The YACHT CLUB from Sep 20-27! Six days in the parks with hoppers! :) We will also have the DDDP! So there is lots of yummy food in our future! I just can't wait to see many many more faces like this from my baby girl (this was from when I brought her on a tiny train at the local mall) I think she is going to love the rides that she is able to go on! So, we are actually driving, I have a Traverse that seats 8! So all in the same car :rotfl2: We leave out Friday night (19th) and drive over night coming from Nw Orleans. Should probably get there around 11am. I am going to have to request early check in! We are using Saturday to check in, relax, go to the amazing pool at YC that I hear so much about....and begin our vacation in a relaxing mood :thumbsup2 So here are my ADR's.....feel free to critique/ tell me your opinion. I tried not to book 3 meals per day so it gives us a little wiggle room to still feel kind of free and spontaneous. So one meal a day with no ADR may mean we wait sometimes but hopefully Sep won't be that bad. This trip includes a couple of places I have never tried! (decided to branch out):joker: The day we check in we are having dinner at Cape May Cafe (never been) Day 2: Bfast at Ohana (never been) lunch whenever we feel like it Dinner at Crystal Palace Day 3: Akershus for Bfast (never been) San Angel Inn for lunch Dinner wherever we decide later Day4: Bfast at Rainforest Cafe Lunch at Yak and Yeti Dinner at Le Cellier (never been) Day 5: Bfast at Hollywood and Vine(never been) Lunch at 50s Prime time Dinner wherever we decide later Day 6: Bfast at Cinderella Castle the no other ADRs for the last day and a half. I'm getting hungry just typing that!:stir: So, this will be a very exciting trip!!!! Also, I get the Military Discount for the rooms SO 40%off at YC:cheer2::cheer2: I'll take it! What's left? 1. Cannot decide whether or not to buy the Sketchers Go Walks.....any one care to tell me if I should?! 2. I have to set up the stroller rental (renting a BOB type stroller from a company that brings it to the hotel) any suggestions on companies to do that through?!3. Need to Momma's Pre Trip Report so far!! More to come:wave2:

So! We are LESS than two weeks out at this point! I can't wait!!!! Had my daughter's actual birthday party yesterday and she was given at least 200$ worth of disney gift cards!!! Someone is going to be getting some awesome souvenirs. Starting with a personalized Mickey ear hat! (Every kid needs one of those). We got our magic bands made our FP+ selections and we are just patiently (not to patiently) waiting to hit the road! We are considering driving straight through to DW instead of stopping for breakfast since we may get there round 9 if we do that. Then we can have breakfast in DW! Not sure yet though. We shall see. I already packed my DD2 and she has two outfits for everyday! A little excessive maybe but hey, she won't run out!

Anyone?? Lol. I have no idea how to really pull off a Trip Report so I would LOVE some feedback.

Sounds like a great trip! Have you ever stayed at the Yacht Club before? It's really beautiful, you'll love it! Beaches and Cream is really fun too. Your daughter will love it, the characters are great there. She is lovely! Looking forward to reading more about your plans!

Added Coral Reef ADR one night! Kept hearing good things about it so I took the leap!!!

I just read your trip report. YAY!!! I know y'all are excited. Our trip is scheduled September 17-24. We are leaving on the 16th from the Mississippi coastal area and driving overnight. We too are super excited. My husband and I have both been at much younger ages (preteen and early teen), and our kids (daughter age 15 and son age 10) have never been. We are staying at the Caribbean Beach Resort and can't wait to see the kids' excited faces!:yay:

This sounds like such an exciting trip! :cool1:

Coral Reef is pretty neat. We ate there, the food was really good and my little one loved to watch the fish while we were eating.

Subbing........sounds like a great time. I bought sketcher go walks after reading about them , so many people on here seem to like them, haven't been to Disney with them yet, but I can say that's all I wear anymore. I love them and I have very high arches so always have had problems with my feet. But no more, going to get another pair so I can switch off shoes at Disney....:thumbsup2

Wow, so I followed your here from the Sept planners group, what a great start to your PTR!!!

First off, I know you said no sad faces, but it is really touching what you shared about your hubby. How great that you get to take your sweet little Corey Ann to a place you loved and enjoyed with her daddy. I do hope you take some photos in spots that you have photos of your hubby with to show her. :goodvibes

Also, how sweet of your boyfriend to be so understanding, and HOW MUCH FUN to take him back for his first time since childhood! He is going to LOVE it, that is if yall are not miserably full the whole time!! :rotfl:

Deluxe dining! Eeeeep! How amazing is that going to be!!??!?!? If I had one suggestion, it would be my all time favorite thing from the last trip, the Hoop Dee Doo!!! It was SOOOO fun! 2 dining credits, but so worth it!! Dinner and a show, and its all you can eat with included tip and alcohol! :thumbsup2 Plus it gets you outta the parks a bit for a breather and change of pace and they have fun stuff at Ft Wilderness like pony rides, and the FREE campfire sing along! If you time it right theres a lot of fun to be had!

Also, Coral Reef, a friend just returned from Disney and that was her favorite meal! The kids get a fun paper with all the different fish so they can try to find them as you wait and dine! Plus the food was amazing, she said. It's definitely going on my list in the future!

As for the questions you asked... the GoWalks, yes, they're pretty awesome like everyone claims, I would def go for it. I haven't really met anyone who hasn't loved them. And your stroller, I use Kingdom Strollers. They were great last time, no issues at all and the stroller was perfect. Also, you get a voucher for free grocery delivery from ************************** if you order through kingdom as well. I dont know if you need that, but if you might, thats just an added bonus. We used them to get a case of water, snacks and fresh fruit delivered to our room.

Anyway, can't wait to keep reading more updates! :hyper:

I see it bleeped out the web address I posted... lol, if you are interested in the grocery delivery let me know and I will tell you more about that... :lmao:

I too have followed over from the Facebook group!

Great intro!!! i cannot wait to hear all your plans! :cool1:

Great start!! I cannot wait to hear all your plans!

Subbing in! popcorn::This sounds like it is going to be an amazing trip! how wonderful to have your dad and step-mom come to celebrate with you.

You're ADR's sound great! If you're feel adventurous I strongly advise checking out Boma! if you're little one loves animals go early and she can see them around the hotel. The food is amazing and it is a MUST do every trip for DH and I.

DH and I have done Cape May Cafe for breakfast and loved it! I hear dinner is good too.

Can't wait to hear more! :goodvibes

So a few things have changed! My bf Mom will be joining us for three of the days :). Also I bought the Go Walks and I loveeee them! Heck they may be worn out before I even get to disney.

Hi hi!

I looooved your intro!
What a sweet story that you ran the W&D marathon to raise money for families who went through the same thing as you. It really touched me.

Your trip actually overlaps with ours, actually. We've never been in September so we're very excited about the lower crowds and all the special events! I'mma be following your PTR to see what fun things you guys have planned :)

I still love my go walks. I wear them everyday. I highly suggest them for others!

Hi! I am following along- We will be at the Beach Club Sept 23-28. We have picked some of the same ADR's! Thanks for sharing!
