I got a good deal on some Disney gift cards, what is the easiest way to use them. Should I just ask them to put them on my account and ask them to bill that before my credit card? or is that likely to get screwed up and I should just use the GCs to pay at meals?

:welcome:

Personally, I prefer to use them to pay for the hotel. This way I don't even have to deal with bringing them to FL. I don't buy them discounted and don't usually have more than 1 or 2 maybe but I'm always afraid of losing them or losing track. I don't want to have to deal with that while on vacation. I think the next easiest way is to apply them to your room account then check your bill occasionally and apply more as needed. If you have enough value on them to cover all of your costs, be sure to apply the amount to cover the tab by your last night before checkout or they'll charge your cc on file.

Whatever you do, be sure to save the cards even after they used, spent, applied to account, etc. at least until you get home from your trip. If for some reason something gets cancelled/refunded, the funds will be returned to the original form of payment, ie. the gift card. Maybe bring a Sharpie so it's easy to write the balance on them & the date it was used.

I would say the best way to use them is at some type of Disney store , restaurant or theme park... :P

Seriously tho , I like to dump them all into my savings account to get the extra 20% off each thousand spent. Then with that I use it for rooms or 10 day no expiration passes

2%. Not 20%.

They no longer sell non-expiration tickets. :sad1:
