Hi All... we will be arriving at BCV on 07/19 and staying for 10 days. In the past we have just been content with whatever room we ended up with. This time, though, we are hoping to get an upper floor 2 bedroom with a cool view as opposed to the "first floor right near the parking lot" room we've gotten the last 3 times. Is there a way to request an upper room with a view? Do you have to do it by a certain time? I'm sure we will be happy with any room - but I thought we'd try and see if we could secure a room that overlooked Epcot at night.... not a big deal - I'm just happy we get to go!

Call Member Services and add your requests to your reservation. We normally get what we request. But you want to keep it general - higher floor or near lobby or near elevator, whatever. Not a specific room which is what your title says - that would be a mistake and unlikely to be successful.

BCV doesn't have much of a Epcot view and making that request may put you above Epcot Resorts Blvd and/or the resort service area.

Besides, if you tell the CM you want Epcot view, they will tell you there isn't any such view.

And you'll discover that "Epcot View" is synonymous with "road view." Some people see a glass half empty, some half full, but the rooms with the best view of Epcot usually also have the best view of the road.

all you can do is call MS and have them put a request on your reservation. My last 2 stays at BCV I called and requested a pool view. I didn't get it either time, but I keep requesting it and maybe one trip I'll get it. Good luck.

Basically at BCV since it was built in what used to be Beach Club resort parking lot and tennis court; the views are pool/parking lot; woods, road, and courtyard between the two buildings.

As stated by others, any view of Epcot will have a view of the road.

First - I've found that BCV is a wonderful resort for working with you at check-in to get a desired area. Yes most make requests. But regardless I've been there where they've offered me options without me saying a thing. They've brought it up.

Also, last time I was there the CM was going through the computer to make sure there wasn't anything open and I nicely asked if there was any possibility of getting a canal/pool view and he made sure he got it for me. No pushing or begging :rotfl2: I'm not one of those DVC owners ;)- he sincerely seemed happy to find one.

I ADORE this BCV view. For some it's quite the walk. I could care less - I find it very relaxing.

Also, I love high floors. However, some top floor on this side are hooded balconies (HATE them) and some third on this side are very small balconies (not a big deal - just a head's up). Pretty well all the second floor balconies (this one was) are quite large in comparison. At least double in size compared to the smaller ones.
