do not keep us in suspense,

what was your excellent rate???

what rental company??

I just tried this, and clicked on rentalcars.com when it came to step 2. This is awesome, it gives you a grid with 5 different companies and all of their car types, and the price per week, plus the total reservation price including taxes. Then you can go to their site and plug in your coupon codes, etc., but it lets you quickly compare for your dates across several sites. Found an SUV rental at Alamo for 16 nights next Aug for a grand total of 451.

EDITED
Make that 393 using the Walmart contract ID 430710 and product rate code BY and entertainment coupon code for $15 off!

fun

if not mistaken, alamo does not allow mixing of contract codes and coupon codes ( do not really know for sure since we use national a lot and they do allow "mixing" ), but it seems that the coupon code id has to come from the same "contract id"

perhaps others who rent with alamo can clarify this???

Oh, that's a bummer. Will they just take off the coupon and not invalidate the whole rate?

www.travelocity.comIf you are using codes or coupons try the reservation with and without them and see what your rate is. Sometimes using a code or coupon raises your base rate.

This is really true. I tried an Amex coupon code I found and the quote was far higher than just using my emerald club code.

How about if I want a 12 passenger van to go from MCO to Cape Canaveral? Any ideas on a good rate for this. 24 hrs for 1 day and 5 for another day. Thanks!

I've used mixed codes with no problems to book Alamo.
