The Best Husband Ever - made me Dole Whips

I am the luckiest woman alive

I have been missing Disney so much since our trip in May, and this morning, my husband woke me up, told me to close my eyes, and presented me with a Dole Whip. He found the recipe and slaved away this morning to make it for me! Now I want to go back even more!!!

I did a Google search and found this Dole Whip recipe right away. It even has pics!

Editing to add.....well, it looked like a good webpage...at first. It turns out, the photos are covering up half the recipe!

Pineapple Dole Whip

1 quart Dole pineapple juice
1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
3 cups heavy whipping cream
3 cups sugar
Milk

• Mix the pineapple juice and sugar, making sure that the sugar is dissolved.

• Next add the cream and vanilla.

• Pour the whole mixture into a 4-quart ice cream maker.

• Add milk to finish, filling to the fill line.

• At this point simply follow the instructions on your ice cream maker.

• When the ice cream is ready you can serve it as is or you can stick it in the freezer for a while and let it set up a bit.

Wow! That is a GREAT husband! I love the Dole Whips too, but my husband is not a Disney fan like me so he would NEVER do anything like that! Oh well! I will just have to make it myself!!!

I'm pretty certain Dole Whips are non-dairy.... the cream in that recipe doesn't seem right

OMG!!! How lucky are you?! How did it turn out? My cousin has the best gf ever cuz he's more obssesed with Dole Whip than I am and his gf has heard so much about it so when my cousin went to go visit her, she had looked up the recipe online and had it made for him when he got up there! Some people are sooo lucky !
