The BALD and the BEAUTIFUL go to DIZZY world! 4/2 epcot!

I am really enjoying your live TR. Your pictures are awesome! It looks like you are having a great time!

Thanks for sharing.

After our cruise through the Jungle we decided on the Magic Carpet Ride. While we were waiting in line Jayden woke up and was completely mesmerized by the flying carpets. :goodvibes

It was a BIG hit with my kids, and Valerie seemed to enjoy it too!

After our ride was over we headed towards the Baby Care Center. DH and I had discovered a little earlier that neither of us had packed diapers for Jayden that day, and we were down to only one which was left from the day before. Knowing that we could purchase diapers at the BCC relieved my anxiety a bit.

We did take a small detour on the way to meet Lilo and Stitch though. :stitch2:

Florida095-1.jpg

Unfortunately when we got to the BCC they didn’t have his diaper size. He wears a size one and the smallest size they had was a size three. :scared1: OHHHH NOOO!!!!! I walked out of the BBC and told Will the bad news. We didn’t feel like leaving the park to get diapers so we knew that we would have to scope out parents with babies around the same size as Jayden to beg for diapers. :sad2: Strangely, there weren’t many small babies like Jayden, but I scored my first diaper in the changing room and Will scored his first one out by Casey’s Corner almost right away. :thumbsup2 I was a little embarrassed asking for diapers, but at the same time thought it was funny. When we were up to 4 diapers, we decided to reward ourselves with some lunch. We went to Casey’s Corner for some super yummy Hot Dogs, Corn Dog Nuggets, and French fries with Cheese Sauce. I’m not a big fan of hot dogs, but those corn dogs were really YUMMY!

Once our tummies were full we headed to Tomorrow Land to get FP’s for Space Mountain and to see the Monsters Inc. show.

:sulley:

I LOVE this show and love how it’s always a little different every time you see it. Victor was chosen as “THAT GUY” during the show and was a great sport about it. :lmao:

Afterwards we decided to split up for a little bit. Reya and I wanted to see the parade and Marsha and her family did not. So Will, Reya, Jayden, and I went to find a place for the afternoon parade, while everyone else went to ride some rides. It was strange trying to find a place in the sun, rather then a place in the shade like we’re used too. Once the parade actually started Jayden started throwing a fit and sweet DH offered to take him somewhere else to calm him down. So DD and I got to sit and enjoy the parade together.

She LOVED it!! I had another one of those wonderful mommy moments where I wanted to cry! I just love seeing my baby girl so happy

After the parade was over we met up with everyone at Buzz Lightyear. It proved quite difficult to shoot, control the vehicle, and to hold Jayden at the same time but I think I still did pretty well. (Don’t remember my score) :confused3 It was then time to use our FP’s for Space Mountain. DH and DBIL took Valerie first and then Marsha and I took Breanna. Using FP for this ride was amazing. I think the standby line was over 60 minutes so we bypassed many, many people. I almost felt guilty. :rotfl: I LOVE this ride, but once is enough for me. I think I like the one at Disneyland better, I don’t know if it’s just me but it feels much smoother?!?

We then went to stand in line to meet Ariel. All three of the boys went somewhere else while all of us girls waited since the wait was 35 minutes. Reya was really excited when she got to meet her and wanted to just chat with her all day.

Florida148.jpg

Once the girls were finished getting their autographs from the Little Mermaid herself, we met up with the boys at POTC. We decided to take another quick boat ride through the Caribbean since there wasn’t a wait.

By the time we got off the sun was starting to set. The temperature was really dropping so we decided it was time to change Reya out of her dress. We went to one of the gift shops on Main Street to find some socks for her because stupid me didn’t think about bringing any with us that morning. It was shocking to see all the people in the gift shop trying to find warm clothing. :scared1: The shelves and racks were practically empty because of everyone buying all the sweatshirts and jackets that were available.

After Reya was taken care of I decided it was time for me to head back to the hotel because I thought it was just way too cold for the baby to be out. Will and Valerie walked me to the car and I luckily I found my way back without any problems.

I put Jayden down for bed and I cuddled up on the couch with a warm blanket and watched an entertaining episode of cops. The plan was for everyone else to stay until closing, but they could only stand the cold for a couple more hours and were home by 10:00 PM.

All in all it was a WONDERFUL day at Magic Kingdom. The only thing that would have made it better would have been warmer temperatures.

FAVORITES OF THE DAY:

Breanna: Space Mountain. ((it was her first time))
Valerie: Splash Mountain
Reya: Breakfast with the Princesses and being treated like one all day
Jayden: Buzz lightyear

Great updates! I love the "begging for diapers" - cracked me up! Good thinking though! :thumbsup2

The pictures of Jayden watching the carpets are adorable! :)

The Jessie picture with the "pose" is so cute too!

Looks like a beautiful day! :goodvibes

Sounds like another wonderful day.

:lmao: Too funny about begging for diapers. So glad you found some.

popcorn:: Can't wait to hear more.

Awesome picture of the stepsister trying to pull the sword out!

Glad to hear that you found kind people to give you diapers. Had a good laugh about that one.

I'm here. I'm late, but I'm here.
Enjoying the report so far. Our DD was 7 weeks when she did Disney for the first time. I have pictures her with every Princess. She was such a little doll, just like you little Jayden!

Sounds like such a great day, despite the cold.

Babies are so cute. I love those pictures of Jayden watching the magic carpets!

I can't believe you had to beg for diapers, that is really too funny. When we went on our honeymoon our friends were in FL too, and they came to WDW for the day (really, a few hours), and forgot diapers for their one year old....we didn't know you could buy them in the parks though, so they just hoped it would last and she wouldn't poop. It did and she didn't, so it was fine, but we were all a little worried! Never thought of asking strangers for a diaper though, that's smart.

Looks like Ariel is wearing a shirt...GOOD because how cold would she have been if she wasn't! Mermaids just don't have the wardrobe for cold weather!

The parade looks like fun, I'm glad you enjoyed it!

It sound like you had a wonderful day at MK (besides the cold)! :yay: Your pictures are great. :)

Thank you! We did have a wonderful day!

Well I won't lie, it's NOT the first time I've had to beg for diapers. There was once a time when Reya was a baby too. It was a little embarassing. :rolleyes1

Jayden is really observant lately. He just loves watching everything that he can. You should see him on Buzz lightyear when you go through the tunnel with all the stars flying by. Baby goes crazy for that. :rotfl:

Sounds like another wonderful day.

Yes, I'm very greatful for the wonderful people who gave us diapers. Especially since it wasn't even 15 minutes after I changed him into his last diaper that he had a ummmm....BIG!! Blow-out!

Welcome! I wish I would have gotten pictures of Jayden with the princesses, but he was always sleeping everytime we saw one. OH WELL!! He got to meet Piglet, Goofy, and Pluto at least. :)

I'm always going to carry extra diapers with me for now on so that I have some to spare if some poor mommy begs me for a diaper. It's No fun.

And NO.... Mermaids sure don't have the wardrobe for cold weather. Or Jasmine.

Sunday March 7th- Day 4

Today was scheduled to be a relaxing free day. But the boys had decided that they wanted to do a Airboat Tour so they were out of the hotel early in the morning. Marsha however was kind enough to take care of the kids for me when they woke up so I could sleep in until 9:00.

She had also taken them across the parking lot to the Outlet Stores to find Jayden a hat for his bald little head. She ended up finding a cute green and brown one at the Old Navy Outlet. Unfortunately during our trip we realized that it was just easier to put sun block on his head because the hat kept falling over his eyes,( so it was mostly a waste of money.) Hopefully it'll fit by the summertime. :rolleyes1

The original plan was to go to the beach after the boys arrived home. :beach: We wanted to go to Caladessi Island, which is a beautiful place that DH and I happened upon by accident on our last trip. Unfortunately the boys didn't arrive back to the hotel until around 11:30 am which made it too late for us to go to Caladessi since the last ferry departed from there at 4:30 PM and that wouldn’t give us enough time to drive out there and enjoy ourselves.

So instead we decided to go to Cocoa beach.

It was a pretty beautiful day but not quite warm enough to go swimming in the cold ocean. We just stuck our feet in the water, played in the sand, walked along the beach, checked out the pier, and had as much fun as possible without getting wet.:goodvibes

We stayed and enjoyed ourselves for a couple of hours. When we all started getting hungry we headed back to the car. Unfortunately we parked at a parking meter and lost track of time and ended up going over our time limit. Waiting for us was a hefty $30.00 parking ticket. :headache:

On our way back home we were all pretty hungry and tired. Reya and Jayden fell asleep in the car.

Florida002-1.jpg

After awhile it was decided that we were lost. And of course the boys being boys didn’t want to stop and ask for directions which just got us even more lost. :sad2: After awhile tempers were flaring and tummies were grumbling.:furious: The original plan was to stop somewhere on the way back to the hotel to grab a bite to eat, but it was getting dark and the kids wanted to go swimming. I thought it would be better if we just go back to the hotel so they could go swimming and Marsha and I would stay behind and order pizza. That way it would be there when they were finished swimming.

Once we FINALLY arrived to our hotel, the kids promptly put on their bathing suits and Marsha and I ordered pizza from a local pizza place that had left a flyer at our door one day. I really wish I would’ve remembered their name for everyone, because the service was HORRIBLE and the food was only so-so. They told us it would be a 45 minute wait, after an hour and a half we called them to see what the delay was and their only answer was. “”There was nothing they could do about it”” ?!?! What the?!:scared1:

The only good thing I have to say about the place is that they made pretty good Fettuccine Alfredo.

After the kids were done swimming and we all had food in our bellies it was time for bed.

Up Next: Animal Kingdom

I'm sorry the pizza place was no good. :( The beach looked fun, though! I hate getting lost... so frustrating!

The Pics at the Beach are Terrific and everyone looks to be having a good time!

Will someone please tell me why boys never want to stop for directions:confused: It doesn't matter age, race, country of origin-it is the one thing they all seem to have in common to drive women NUTs-and i don't know about you...but I don't need any help in that area:rotfl:

We have never made it to the beach on any of our trips so thank you so much for sharing your wonderful pictures.

Too bad about the food.....that always seems to happen when you're starving too doesn't it!!!

The beach looks like a lot of fun! I love the beach, you can never take a bad picture on a sunny day at the beach!

Sorry the food was so bad, that's terrible that it took so long and they were so unhelpful.

Hello everyone! I'll get a post up sometime today. It's been a rough 24 hours. DH and I have been sick and coughing every since we've returned from Florida. DSIL has too and she went to the doctor yesterday and was told she has bronchitis (sp). Which means there's a good chance that's what Will and I have too. I also just got back from taking Jayden to the doctor because he won't eat. He seems perfectly happy and normal except that he won't eat. I thought maybe he had an ear infection or that maybe his ears haven't popped since our flight home, but everything looks normal. The doctor fears he might have reflux though, so we need to keep on eye on it. And then my POOR Grandma was having an absolutely miserable day yesterday. It was the anniversary of my grandpa's passing and on top of that her poor dog was hit by a car. He's not doing so well right now and unless she decides to put him down he might have to get his leg amputated. So I had to go over there to visit her today and to console her. Lots of positive thoughts and prayers sent this way would be appreciated. :grouphug:

:lmao::lmao: Nope don't need any help in that department at ALL!! And it's funny how they get mad at "YOU" when you were right all along. They never admit to there mistakes. :confused3

Cocoa was okay..... I highly recommend Caledesi Island if you ever get a chance.... It's really beautiful and the shelling is amazing.
Oh that beach looks so beautiful!

Oh well.... Like I said before you live, you learn. Never ordering from there again. Not everybody lives by the disney standards of customer service.. So disappointing.

Thank you!

As far as my grandma's dog. He's a fighter! They found "some" feeling in his right leg today, so that's some good news. He still might need it amputated though. He's a small dog. ((Yorkshire Terrier)) and wasn't acutally hit, he was RUN over. :( the jerk who ran over him took off too, without even looking back twice. Some sweet lady who witnessed it happen took Rocky to the Vet right away. My poor grandma is go heart broken right now. But she's very hopeful!
