What is wrong with that? I've been known to sing it from time to time. The Carousel of Progress has been one of my favorite rides since I can remember (maybe because I always liked Rex Allen, the original narrator.

It is such a great ride! Always puts me in a great mood!

Same here. I like doing it when the heat and humidity get to be a bit much. You get to sit down in air-conditioned comfort for a half hour, and I like the presentation, too.

My main favorites at MK are POTC, Carousel of Progress, Jungle boat ride, and seeing Big Al at the Country Bear Jamboree. I do all the rides of course, but these are the ones I like the best. OK, and Its a Small World, too. Sickly sweet and syrupy, but I like looking at the national costumes.

Hmmm...that would make an interesting Question of the Day for those who are coming up with ideas....

Hey guys, I started a facebook group for us, for those of us who have facebook. You have to request to join and I will approve you. One of the people in my May group did one and its just another fun way to get to know people, and if anyone is planning meets and such, it can be an easier way to get in touch with people closer to the cruise and maybe even on the cruise. So here is the link, feel free to join us!

I think we also decided on a name finally so i will be changing the title of this post to add that on!

Great idea! We also had a group for our cruise last November, was great to chat before and after on FB. :)

Question of the Day!!
According to http://www.thisdayindisneyhistory.com/, on March 27, 1995, Elton John and Tim Rice were presented with the Oscar for "Can You Feel the Love Tonight" as the best song in a motion picture. So in that spirit, what's your favorite song from a Disney and/or Pixar movie or from a park?
:rolleyes1

My favorite song is "Be our guest" from Beauty and the Beast. I loved watching that on the big screen.

That is so funny, my boyfriend and I were in the grocery store the other day, and I like to serenade him with disney songs from time to time, and that was the song i started singing! He was surprised i knew all the words! I was like a) it's a popular "on hold" song when you call disney and b) its one of my favorite rides!

I can't say I have a favorite disney song. I love all of them! My disney playlist has over 200 songs on it! I really like anything from little mermaid though!

does nightmare before christmas qualify as disney? I would have to say "What's This?" or "This is Halloween"
DH (Ian) LOVES Nightmare before Christmas!

From Toy Story: "You got a friend in me"

Today is DH's Birthday "HAPPY BIRTHDAY"
I have a photo from about 20 years ago at Magic Kingdom, he is sitting at Pooh's table with a birthday hat on. If I can find it, I will post it.:cake:

Happy Birthday to you DH!

today is dw's birthday too!

Happy Birthday to Jennifer! :cheer2:

My current (because it is always changing) favorite song well it would have to be songs is the entire sound track from Country Bear Jamboree... and there is a bit of a story to this.

Our last trip - last June.. evening extra magic hours at the MK.... LATE we decided to see the Country Bears. I am not sure if we were overly tired, slap happy or what - but from the moment the show started until the end my youngest DD - Emily and I started singing along. I didn't even realize we both knew ALL THE WORDS and I mean ALL OF THEM. (I guess that is what we get for being the owners of Mouse House Radio - and having it playing constantly)

We tried to not be too loud and obnoxious. I will admit we did get a bit loud while singing, "Mama don't whoop lil Buford. Mama don't pound on his head. Mama don't whoop little Buford, I think you should shoot him instead." ;)

It really was late and there weren't many other people in there.... honest :rotfl:

It was just one of those times when everything comes together and it isn't even so much where you are or what you are doing - it's the fact that you are enjoying a moment with someone you love and that moment goes on to become an incredible memory you will cherish for a lifetime.

It's never too late to start. :cool1:
I'm just waiting for Zander to get a little older. When we do disney for the first time we want to make sure we do it right and if we are paying that much we want to make sure he remembers it. That's why i think the cruise is perfect. More access to costumed cm's and not as crowded.

If I were sharing the audience with you, I would not have minded.

We have a similar story. Back in August we did the Dream then spent an extra "surprise" day at Bay Lake Towers. We got to see Wishes that evening on the roof. During that day there were times where one of us would blurt out "WISHES" (we have the soundrack) at odd times. Its all on video. So now, I sometimes text my daughter at college "WISHES" and she'll call me back and sing to me.

I can hardly think of a single ride or show at WDW, that have songs in them, that I haven't seen someone or other singing along. I think it's great! It shows people are having a good time and enjoying themselves.

awwww - you inspired me. I just sent Em a text at school with "our song" the lil buford one. :rotfl: then I ended the text with "love you". Her response.. "Weirdo. Love you too." :D

There are certain ones that REALLY stick out in my mind.. or a certain phrase will. But like I said being that we run MouseHouse radio on Live 365 and having that playing in the background all the time I think I know more of the songs than I realize I do... which can be a good thing and also a bad thing when they get stuck in your head.

Come'on now... everyone....

It's a world of laughter a world of tears...it's a world of hopes and a world of fear. There's so much that we share, that it's time we're aware....... it's a small world after all!

:dance3:

....you won't all toss me overboard now will you? :scared1:
