Well, since it seems that since this was my idea I've been elected to be the "beacon" for our pre-cruise gathering in the terminal. I'll have to see what kind of identifier I can come up with. But NO PINK HAT!

Quick question any recommendations between staying at the Radisson or Country Inn at the Port? We stayed at Radisson a few years ago and the kids loved the pool. They are pretty comparable pricewise, but I know a lot of people prefer Country Inn and Suites.
As well has anyone received luggage tags yet?? Ugh cannot wait to get on that plane!

OK....I will be wearing something bright YELLOW, but not a banana costume. More on that later.

When (year and/or age) did you first visit Disneyland or Disney World?

1986 - Disneyland and I was 19. We actually lived within walking distance for 3 years. That was before kids and we went ALL the time. It was great.

A thought just occurred to me: On my last (and first) Magic cruise, some of the DIS Meet managed to find each other in the terminal prior to the boarding call. We chatted away and got to know each other a little better, the kids played together, and in general we had a pleasant time while waiting to board.

The key to being able to link up was to have some sort of recognition so that we could find each other. What actually worked best was one of the women had a very loud hot pink hat which served as a beacon for the others (though we were surprised at the number of hats in various shades of pink).

Anyone interested in doing this?

We did the Radisson 6 years ago and it was Ok. We are doing Country inn and suites this time. No particular reason.. just worked out that way.
