Oh...and just what are we getting waxed?

Well I just got a report from him---he got a shot (probably the same one I did) in his butt...okay, hip really. He has a sinus infection and upper respiratory infection. So they gave him 2 prescriptions (antibiotic and sinus pill) and he said he already brought them to have them filled.

The doc told me I had an URI and "probably the beginnings of a sinus infection" and I feel fine now---so it goes to show ya how medicine really works! Mike let his progress too far! I'm just glad he got meds, and since they gave him the shot he should be feeling fine by Saturday!

thanks for the tip. Last year I held my purse as my personal item, and I put my mini backpack(I call it my "park bag" in this list) into my carry on bag, with my entertainment for the plane(crosswords), a swimsuit, a few toiletries, etc

I think I'll do the same and then have Mike hold the laptop bag



well I'm sure I'll be so excited, I'll have to pee! And then again at the airport too!

I can't remember if I had mentioned that Mike was not feeling good either...well I got him an appointment to see the doctor and he should be there now. (He BETTER have made it!)

I'm sure they'll give him an antibiotic so he can get better fast!!


I can't believe it's only 4:00. I have an hour before I get out of here and go get my hair cut/highlighted!! I can't wait!

As far as carryons go, I believe that the airlines look at a woman's purse as a personal item and then you can have a carry on. That's how I've always done it. One purse and my carryon. Of course I milk the purse thing and bring a big one.
How's the hair??? I love hair days! I just got mine done last Sat and feel great. Good hair is a must when going on vacation. Hope your DH is feeling better by Sat. Did you decide on a dress yet?

ohhhh I just pluck mine because I don't have much to begin with. I give them a little bit of a shape by plucking. But they are just so thin and light colored.

I think he's gonna be okay...actually, I just remembered he was supposed to pick up his script this morning and I'm not sure if he did! I better call him! (thank God for the shot to get it jumpstarted)

He's really been slackin' on the whole vacation thing and it's worrying me! He's just so busy all the time. Thankfully he's off tonight--but he does have to do some thing for school (a paragraph or 2) and turn it in tomorrow.

We still have to go to the stinkin store tonight (Walmart and the Dollar tree) to finish our last minute trip shopping. I have decided to skip tanning for tonight. I'm okay with that because I actually look like I have some color now especially with my hair being lighter.

The trip is almost here! Tomorrow at this time I’ll be on a plane headed for Orlando!!

I got a lot done last night. We went to Walmart and the Dollar tree, as you know, and picked up what we needed. I have packed all of my clothes and shoes (finally), as well as my hair clips & pony tails. I also started putting stuff in my park bag and the carry-on.
Mike finally STARTED packing, and I’m pretty sure all his clothes are ready (except his white shirt which I will pack for him tonight) so he just needs toiletries now.
I’ve got pretty much all the toiletry stuff we’ll need sitting on the hall bathroom countertop. I just need to throw it in a bag now!

I talked Mike's head off last night about Disney. I couldn't get to sleep. Guess the excitement's kicking in!!!

I made Flat Mommom the other night…sorry I never posted here. For those of you who don’t know her, she is is Disneymommom…”mommom” for short. She wanted to come along with me so I made her flat…and this is the ONLY time she’ll ever be FLAT.

I also finished my LGMH’s last night, but I didn’t take a picture. Sorry!

I made a laminated card with all our dining reservations on it, as well. That should come in handy!

I’ve printed a bunch of stuff the past couple of days. I made an itinerary on Disney’s website, printed that out. I also printed the menus for all the restaurants we’re eating at, so we can look at it in the airport and on the plane and get excited deciding what we want! I even printed out a map of the Orlando airport so that we’d know exactly where we need to go to get to ME after deplaning. (I love that word! )

We still haven’t got our shiny pennies---I left that task up to Mike today, however, I think I’m changing my mind. If he doesn’t have them by lunchtime, I will go get them, as well as some rolls of quarters.

If I wasn’t at work, I’d probably keep typing but I don’t have too much time.

I have one last thing to show y’all!

Yes, I'm counting the hours now!!

Just a little update....I went out at lunch and finally found a bank with shiny new pennies. I got 4 rolls (200!!! but I'm sure we won't be using all of them) and some rolls of quarters so we can actually "buy" the pennies.
I got some cash while I was there, too (including plenty of dollar bills for tips--ie. mousekeeping)

I also went and bought some new black thread to possibly sew that bra I broke.

I also called Disney dining and changed our Marrakesh reservation to Tokyo Dining -- same time (1:00). Mike decided he wanted to do Japanese and JUST told me last night. I tried getting Teppan Edo but they were booked, as I expected. I will keep trying to get Teppan Edo (which is hibachi) up until the day of our reservation, on the chance that someone might cancel.

It is SO SO windy out right now! When I came back from lunch, I opened my car door a little only to have it FLY out of my hand and hit the car next to me. Thankfully it was an older model car (new cars aren't made like that anymore) and it stood up to the hit and didn't cause a dent. I got in touch with the person (unfortunately had to send an email to the whole building to ask the person who drove that car to call me) and I explained what happened. We went outside and took a look together, and she took one look at it and said "Oh, that's nothin. Don't worry about it."
I was SO relieved! For something like this to happen a day before vacation just REALLY made me so upset. When I think about it, it still makes me cringe...even though everything turned out fine.

I'm just thanking God that it was okay...and that I'm going to Disney World in 18 hours!!!!

I picked out a shirt for him....which I'm pretty sure he has NOT packed yet. I'm going to make sure it is packed tonight! I assume he will end up wearing his cargo khaki shorts. He didn't go buy anything new, and he doesn't have black shorts.

As back-up, I am taking a white shirt with me, and I could wear it with my khaki shorts (if what he is wearing doesn't match me). I'd rather wear the dress though.

an hour and a half til my vacation officially starts (I consider whenever I leave here the start of it!)
