Day 4, Sept 16 – Epcot!

Arrive by 8 for the morning EMH
Hit everything we can in Future World --- TT!!! And can’t wait to check out the new Spaceship Earth! :
Lunch ADR – Marrakesh at 1:00 PM
If we don’t get to tour all of WS on our arrival day, we’ll tour a bit on this day
We’ll play the afternoon by ear. I figured we’d leave in the afternoon and maybe relax at the pool. But I may not want to tear myself away from Epcot! We’ll see what happens when we are there.
Counter service dinner, probably at Pop
9 PM til -- fun and drinks at Adventurer’s Club and the Comedy Club. I’m SO looking forward to this! Only 2 “Disney” drinks and I’ll be good to go.

Sorry, I'm such a slacker. I'm a really bad pre-tripper this year! Heck, I'm a bad tripreporter, too. I still haven't finished last year's!

Life just needs to pause for a little while so I can catch up!

So, I've sort of expected this to happen. I was hoping it wouldn't, but it did. My mom (and posse) will not be going to WDW with us. The original plan was that Mom was supposed to have had a part-time job by now, and that didn't happen. She didn't land one before my grandma got sick (who, by the way, has been doing therapy and doing "okay" til her blood pressure dropped the other day and she's back in the hospital. They've got her stabilized now. More on that when I get word.) Now she has been back and forth visiting my grandma (who was in a nursing home) and didn't have time to get a job for some time. So, it just didn't work out for her, my sister is trying to get a car, and Mom's friend isn't gonna go without her obviously.

I told Mom and Dad they are obligated to go on their grandchild's first Disney trip---whenever that day comes. (Not yet!! Maybe a couple years ) They have agreed to that. It sort of makes me want one sooner but I'll have to hold off til we are ready to have one---NOT just because we're ready to go to WDW.

So now it will just be Mike and I, like last year. I'm a little sad that they can't go with us. But there's a part of me that looks forward to having all that quality time together, just me and my wonderful hubby! Last year we had SO MUCH FUN, and I treasure the time we had together more than anything! I'm sure this year will prove to be just as enjoyable, if not MORE!

I can't believe how close we are getting! I'll have to get this pre-trip on the ball. I have SO MUCH to do, and SO MUCH to talk about before this trip happens!

I admit I was very worried about my ADR's since we would be downgrading from 6 people to only 2 people. I thought for sure I'd lose Le Cellier. BUT I called and got a lovely CM who helped me tremendously...I was able to keep every single reservation, changing only the amount of people on it!

As a matter of fact, I'm not sure I ever posted all my ressies here?

I am sure I posted the meal that went with days 1 through....4, I think. But I still need to post the rest of my planning, meals, and some other stuff I have jotted down.

Wow...I sure have a lot to do in the next month and a half!

So sorry to hear about your grandma. Hope she gets well soon. And like you said, more time with DH! We went by ourselves last year, no children with us, and had an enjoyable time. Just did and ate things we normally wouldn't have with our children. Have fun and enjoy yourselves.
