The Bachelor Season 19 Chris - Prince Farming NO SPOILERS

They didn't show a lot of the women after they didn't get roses. I thought he only eliminated four women and it turned out to be eight! Thanks to Amy for posting the EW recap :thumbsup2. Did you notice it was DAYLIGHT when they were doing their exit interviews?

Oh wow, I thought she was the only one that they didn't show at the end. It seemed to me like they were always hiding her. I didn't realize there were more that we didn't see.

I need to go read that recap :thumbsup2

Yep - that part was very sad. That happened to a friend of mine (her husband collapsed and died during a softball game), leaving her with three little ones all under 5.

....oh my...

ok I don't see it mentioned, but the girl who told the tupperware joke also said something inappropriate getting out of the limo, she said Farmer Chris and then " you can plow my f'ing field anytime" and then when he didn't respond right away she asked if he was Chris and if he was a farmer....OMG - I thought he was a good boy, and then he kept her!!

What is so funny, before the show started I told my DH if I was on there I would have worn a cute dress, with cowboy boots and a hat - and then that girl had my idea!! lol....

I was thinking about Prince Farming and I'm gonna play my hand that he stays with a mid west girl if he chooses one(and she agrees) Maybe it's my feeling that Britt is a plant, I just don't see Iowa and L.A.~no offense to either just don't see the whole farming lifestyle appealing to many if you are not born/bred into it. I do, however, hope to see lots of onion girl and tipsy cowgirl lol...entertainment value you know :rotfl2:

I do agree that the girl who will ultimately fit with Chris Farming is a gal who has strong values of wanting to stay and build a home & family, understands the meaning of hard work, the time it takes to build something lasting, over having shiny baubles and a glitzy life.

Britt, I don't think is originally from L.A. The fact that her career is listed as "waitress" screams she's really a wannabe actress/model with no credits to even be able to call herself an actress/model. Most wannabe actress/models are transplants from somewhere else. And I think the majority of them are really people who desperately want to be loved and matter to someone. That they really just want to "star" in their own lives. When they get that, they will be content to give up the shiny baubles and glittery lifestyle that is basically an illusion and substitution for what they really want.

IF she makes it to the Hometown Dates, we'll see where she really is from. However, I don't think they showed her toward the end of the preview, after she found out Chris slept with someone else. So, I think her fantasy image of Chris got burst. That too, fits that glittery illusions that many wannabe actress/models have, which is what they come to L.A. for. She was hoping to be swept up and rescued by Prince Charming not Prince Promiscuous Farming. :p :sad2:

It won't let me post any link yet. Google it and you will find lots of articles about the breakup.

As for my post count I fail to see what that would matter:confused3. I saw a Bachelor thread and thought people might be interested since they were such a popular couple.
Sorry If I offended you

copied and pasted from PEOPLE online.

he Bachelorette stars Andi Dorfman and Josh Murray have mutually decided to end their engagement.

"After several months of being engaged and working on our relationship, we have decided that it's best for both of us to go our separate ways," revealed Dorfman, 27, and Murray, 30, in a joint statement obtained by PEOPLE. "We are very sad that it has come to this point, but this is what's best for both of us individually."

The statement continued: "We will continue to be good friends and have nothing but great things to say about each other and wish each other the best."

Though Murray popped the question in May, the big reveal on the finale of The Bachelorette in July came as a shock to many.

It seemed as if Dorfman was going to choose sales account executive Nick Viall – Viall seemed to think so, too. As he previously told PEOPLE, he was "completely blindsided" when Dorfman told him that she was in love with somebody else.

During the After the Final Rose special, a heartbroken Nick revealed that he and Andi had "made love" during their date in the fantasy suite.

When Dorfman chose Josh, she admitted that she had been "scared. … It has taken a lot of thought for me to get here and I know that that feeling from the very first time I saw you … I know that feeling right now, is love!"

On Monday, Dorfman told PEOPLE at the season 19 premiere of The Bachelor that the wedding plans had been put on hold so that they could "make a little home in Atlanta and figure it out there." Other than that, however, the couple seemed quite happy together and were laughing and being very touchy-feely in front of reporters.

That whole "red carpet" thing was so incredibly obnoxious, particularly Sean and Catherine acting like cocky celebrities. I cannot stand those two, and I had been a huge fan of his when he was on The Bachelorette. No doubt we'll be hearing all about the conception, the pregnancy and childbirth (a TV special? ;) ) when the time comes.

Just occurred to me...no Trista and Ryan that night? They usually get paraded out for these events.
By the previews I am guessing he sleeps with someone in that tent and the girls hear and are not impressed.
That's the impression I got too. However we've been duped time and time again by artfully edited previews, even to the point of being shown subtle previews that never end up in the show. I would not be the least bit surprised if it's something entirely different.
Kristen on Entertainment Weekly used to write a hilarious recap of each Bachelor/ette episode. Apparently she is no longer with EW, but Samantha is now writing the recap. Don't worry, no spoilers. Here you go: http://tvrecaps.ew.com/recap/the-bachelor-season-19-episode-1/
Thanks! I bookmarked it.
Woohoo! I'm in!

Last night sure dragged out though... and it was weird that they did 15 girls, then took "a few hour break" then did 15 more girls then cocktail party... did anyone else notice that the sun was up after the rose ceremony?

So that party literally lasted a llllllll night? No wonder they were acting weird! I would, too with no sleep! I'd be stumbling just like Tera from pure exhaustion.

Samantha (girl number 16, first girl out of the limo round 2) is originally from the city that I live in so that's cool!

The girl that he gave first impression to, I want to love her but something just seems different about her.

And after the final rose, the one girl that didn't get a rose came back in... did they show what came of that? I didn't see it so just making sure that they didn't show it.
I didn't notice the sun was up! I tend to miss a lot because I "multitask"...check Facebook, emails, play solitaire, etc. I'd be acting drunk without a single alcoholic drink if I didn't get any sleep.

I agree about Britt. She seems likable but I wonder about her. I'm not into that whole hugging strangers in public thing

They didn't show what happens with the girl who comes back. Chris Harrison said we'd have to wait till next week. Could just be much ado about nothing...again.
OK, just finished watching it. I was hoping to not be interested but I think I'm getting sucked in anyway :rotfl2:

I found it interesting that they included Bo (the Plus Size Model) but then never showed her on screen. Was it to be more PC/diverse or something?? If so, it was a fail. They never showed her completely the entire episode (just her face and shoulders usually) and they never even showed her saying goodbye to him when she didn't get a rose. :confused3
I thought so too. And I noticed there were others they didn't show saying goodbye. IIRC they didn't show the name/age/occupation of the girls when they were called to get a rose, or the ones who didn't get a rose, as they were exiting. Don't they usually? Sometimes the only way I can place the girl and what may have happened during the show is if I see her occupation, KWIM?

Awkward!

I can't believe I've been sucked in to this show for another season. :rolleyes2

No..you didn't offend :goodvibes...as I put first the" welcome" that is what I hoped, but you will see here once you are on over time that the boards get trolled, a lot, so usually a low post count is the first clue. I DID see the info today on the unlucky couple. How ironic the timing of this season's LIVE season opener lol. So my apology is offered, and the :welcome: still stands :)

....'scuse me, whilst I go wash my eyes out with BLEACH. :crazy2:

I was thinking it started at 8 (central time) so missed a half hour while I watched Big Bang Theory. I just keep thinking about Iowa,....and the winters. Even if Prince Farming does propose to someone, they may not last on the farm lol. Probably because here in Chicago the temps are not fun right now so guess it's on my brain.

OK, this is funny. I have the closed captioning on with the sound turned down low so DH doesn't hear it and can continue to think I'm fairly respectable despite watching this show  and when Chris says "It is really neat to hear Mackenzie talk about her son..." the closed captioning says "I really didn't need to hear Mackenzie talk about her son..." :lmao:

I thought Megan was going to be a ditz after the group card/love letter incident, but she proved to have depth to her.
