The Bachelor-Brad Womack Take 2--Monday, Jan. 3 NO SPOILERS!

Yep, this guy is about as exciting as mud. He's giving me a pain in my eye. WHY are all thesse girls so into him. If it was me, I'd be asking to be sent home. My man HAS to have passion and intellect.

I cannot believe I'm still watching. I was not going to watch last night but we are looking into going to Costa Rica so I thought I'd watch just for the location information. Other than that, I'm not the least bit interested in this season. Michelle is the only entertainment.

So, who do you think will be a good bachelorette? I'm thinking Ashley, the Dentist. She pretty, smart and has a good job. She'd be interesting to watch.

Um, I don't think so. Nothing in his eyes when he's with Michelle says he loves her. He just doesn't have "the look" when he's with her.

?

Who said anything about love?:rolleyes1

Chantal told Brad last night that she loved him. Her reasoning for telling him then was because she already had a rose and therefore wasn't telling him to get a rose. I think that she told him because she's afraid that he likes Michelle more than her and wanted to get the "I love you" in first, assuming Michelle hadn't already said it.

What do you think?

Jackie was the date where she got to pick a dress and jewels, i believe. at the very beginning and then skipped several seasons--i got sucked in with Deanna). .

They went to the Hollywood Bowl and saw Train.

Who knows who went on what date?? These girls are interchangeable. Michelle is the only one I can tell apart!:confused3

I kind of like Brad. I like boring guys... I guess because I'm so ANIMATED  I like my men barefoot and ... uh, never mind.:rolleyes1

His dates with Emily is like watching paint dry. :scared:

Chantal knows what he likes, HIMSELF, so she agrees with him and he LIKES that! :thumbsup2

Michelle is on the show because EVERYONE else is booooooring... and the producers know it.:surfweb:

I'm glad Jackie's gone because I couldn't tell her from Shawntel.. :confused3

Is it me or does Brit have a real LOOOOW voice????

I can't believe I wasted DVR time on this mess. Luckily I can watch it fast forwarding and get past the Michelle Fatal Attraction 2 Audition scenes. If she's trying for another movie role she just MIGHT try a new script. That "I can't see you with those girls" line is getting OOOOOLD....

Oh my gosh, right? How GORGEOUS is the Springs Resort in Costa Rica?
Glad I watched because i have a new bucket list item! What amazing adventure and beauty! I would have LOVED the cave experience, bats and all. :)

I chuckled at Brad last night who reminded me of a tour guide on the group date..."ok ladies, follow me...this way..." "I just want them all to be happy following me in the jungle...":goodvibes

So, who do you think will be a good bachelorette? I'm thinking Ashley, the Dentist. She pretty, smart and has a good job. She'd be interesting to watch.

I don't think she has that vibrant of a personality. She's too smart & level headed. :thumbsup2

I think, if Brad doesn't pick her, the next Bachelorette will be Emily (which I hope she will turn down so they don't exploit her,) or Chantal, (the slapper.)

I think, while she has a rose for THIS week, she failed to mention that there is still NEXT week where she has to try to secure a rose. Brad is a simpleton that he failed to think that far ahead. I do agree that Chantal knows that flattering Brad will go far. Then there is two people talking about the same one person.

The problem with The Bachelor is that everyone gets swept up in the settings. These luxorius tropical locations so bedazzle the contestants and the viewers that it's hard to imagine there's much chance of success of finding a compatible mate among the initial bevy of beauties selected by the show. Who wants the show to be over and wake up to dirty socks under the bed after that?

Yes, he is so busy doing these high-risk stunts trying to impress them with his prowess, with the gals so afraid of doing the stunts that they are too distracted to ask the real questions that go into finding out if someone will make a compatible mate and partner for life.

Has Brad even asked ANY of them what is most important to them in life? What their ultimate goals & values are, to see if they are on the same page? :confused3

I think next week when he asks Emily if he can go visit her daughter, it is the first real question and possibly wake up call that someone IS thinking ahead, beyond a proposal.

Excuse ME! :wave2: You are NOT supposed to be noticing that the beautiful, lush tropical scenery, gorgeous locale, and resort is 10 times more vibrant & exciting than the dull as wallpaper guy, so self absorbed talking about himself, and can't hold your attention.

, Really! ;)

So true! He really is quite boring...usually the Bachelor's give details about at least a few hobbies or past jobs. His whole background is just being the Bachelor 3 years ago, and he failed at that! I have no clue why I am still watching either, I don't see any romance in this season.

Keeping Michelle instead of Jackie was nuts.

....knocking at the door saying Hola! pushed him over the edge.

So, who do you think will be a good bachelorette? I'm thinking Ashley, the Dentist. She pretty, smart and has a good job. She'd be interesting to watch.

....yeah, but she keeps biting the inside of her cheek, which is driving me BONKERS!!!!

...I actually think that it was classier than, say, spewing "Michelle did THIS, Michelle did THAT, yada, yada..."

I'm jumping in late to this thread, hope you don't mind. I've been having fun reading it! I totally agree about Michelle. She is psycho!!

I hope Ashley the dentist is not the bachelorette. She got on my nerves for whining every week and twirling her hair, so upset that Brad shared time with other girls. Did she not know what the show was about?

Watching it is my dirty little secret since it is such trash! But I live for Chris to come in every week and say, Ladies, Brad, this is the final rose...when you're ready. The show would never end otherwise!:rotfl2:

I'm thinking you could make a case that Brad's decision not to give a rose out on the group date was somewhat akin to his decision not to choose anyone last time he was the Bachelor. He said it was too serious a decision to decide who to give a rose to. Well, it was a pretty big decision between the final two last time. I'm just a little concerned (why?) Truthfully, he' such a bore to me that I think whoever DOESN't get a rose is the lucky one. But then again, very few of the girls are any prize either. Maybe they deserve each other!

I think that he had planned on giving Michelle the rose, but she pissed him off too much so he didn't. I'm trying to remember what she did on that date but I remember him being angry at her. My guess is that he didn't have a second choice and wasn't up for the drama of giving the rose to someone else so he didn't give it to anyone.

I agree with the rest of you about Brad being boring. I am thisclose to seeking out spoilers so I know who F2, but I keep on putting it off. I don't know if it will be better knowing or not. I knew during Jake's season (accidentally spoiled myself) but I still watched.

Well, if he didn't act like such a self absorbed SOB, they wouldn't be complaining so much. he does things for one girl right in front of all the others, with NO thought or sensitivity to how they would feel seeing him do that.

HELLO ladies! Get a clue, this is how he will ALWAYS be - especially once the cameras are off and he has to plan real life. :sad2: The show is trying so hard to make him seem like such a hero, alpha male to these girls. It's ridiculous.

I know, his "come here" "are you okay" every time they squeal sounds so contrived. He only likes it when someone is centering everything around him!

I think he's starting to see it, but he'll probably keep her around to sleep with her on the overnight date. Then, maybe he's too dumb to see it.

I think that's because he's not very bright. So he needs someone to umm, make suggestions, yeah, that's it, make suggestions for him.

He really can't understand why Michelle doesn't see him with any of the other women? :confused3 I thought every girl on ALL the show feels this way about ALL the bachelors. They want him for themselves. Does he not understand what this show is about? :confused3

He keeps asking why she questions his decisions. Does he think it would be any different in real life? She will always be mad, always creating drama. She is so inappropriate sometimes, I really think she is bi-polar.

I totally agree about these dates. I consider myself to be a fairly adventurous person, but there's no way I would have done some of the things these poor women have done.

Also, I was shocked when he picked Michelle over that cute Jackie! What has happened?!? Does he really think he can find true love with Michelle? I have lost my faith in this process! I no longer believe that Brad is here for the right reasons.

*snort*

Supposedly he's looking for a bride that will go on all these adventures with him in the future!

Oh, you sound so disenchanted.:sad1:

What do you think?

I think she does have feelings for him, but she also wanted to use the moment well. She was sitting on the couch quietly with her rose, just thinking and watching, She is pretty smart and classy.

Oh my gosh, right? How GORGEOUS is the Springs Resort in Costa Rica?

I know! Awkward! I think he is uncomfortable in his own skin.

....knocking at the door saying Hola! pushed him over the edge.

Her timing was really bad. I'm thinking the producers are making him keep her for the drama value.

When she told him that he asked for the details, what a crock! First, she says, "I don't want to tell you, but...." Then he asks a half question and she says, "Okay! Well, yada yada yada" about all of them. Not very attractive. I thought he looked pretty irritated. I'm really surprised he kept her.

...I actually think that it was classier than, say, spewing "Michelle did THIS, Michelle did THAT, yada, yada..."

She is classy. Guys don't want to hear that yada, yada, yada.

I know, it's my guilty pleasure, too. I always want to see what the girls will do, and I love all the travel they do.

I like Ashley, but she seems pretty immature for a professional. I'm pretty sure the next bachelorette will be Emily. When they show someone saying they can't return his love, it is the back of a very blonde head. She's the only one left. It would be so dramatic to have her come back, after Therapy, to face falling in love again after her tragic past. Maybe therapy will be the new running theme.

Ohmygosh! Brad is boring! Nice to look at but I think a PP said he was as boring as wallpaper lol!! I agree. If I hear him say "Please" one more time I might turn the tv off hahahaha!

So I think Michelle is psycho but good enterainment - probably why I continue to watch just like a lot of others. I don't like Chantal (the one who told him "I love you". I think she is immature and how can you tell someone you love them when you haven't spent that much time knowing them - I don't get that.

I think that there is no chemistry with poor Emily. I truly like her but they just don't click. Talk about trying to force something. Brit doesn't stand a chance because she just doesn't take the opportunites to get one-on-one time with Brad. The dentist - also seems very young and immature. She also talks with her hands ALOT! I like the funeral director - she is mature and fun and seems really relaxed around Brad.

I wish I could stop watching but I am hooked even though we know nothing about Brad except the fact he can't make a decsion without consulting his therapist. Not the kind of man I want but...I am not on a tv show to find love LOL!!!!

Ugh! I hope not with the same therapist "helping" Brad! :scared:

She needs a grief counselor.

I think he was going to give it to Emily but then she talked about how she sabotages all the good guys that come her way or something like that.

I can't wait to see Anguilla!

When someone gets sent home is the best part of the show. When they cry and are completely brokenhearted by someone they've spent all of a few hours with cracks me up. Or maybe I'm just cruel. Either way :happytv:
