The Bachelor-Brad Womack Take 2--Monday, Jan. 3 NO SPOILERS!

I can't really blame Emily for not being like the other girls and falling in love so fast. I mean, most people it takes a while. Same with any of the other girls who weren't actually like a fool, and already crazy about him.

Is Chontal the one who keeps crying and saying "send me home!"? I would crack up of she didn't get a rose and Brad said, "well, you asked me to send you home, like, every time I saw you." :rotfl2:

As the other Robin said, they all look alike and they ALL cry each week.    Who can tell them apart? :confused3

Other than being contracted to a TV show, what guy puts up with a girl who cries with him each time he sees her? They usually run for the hills. :sad2:

I just really hope he doesn't hurt her. Brad is such a friggin narcissist, he probably likes that she falls in love so easily. But, that is NOT the right reason to string her along, feeding his ego, until he eventually breaks her heart.

I met to say, she is different because I honestly don't think shes crazy in love with him already, like some of the girls are. She seems intent at this point just to get to know him.

I honestly couldn't do the bachelor, I can't marry a guy I've only known a few months in a forced setting.

I'm a little disappointed that they didn't show Michelle's reaction when Emily got the rose and not her. Or maybe they did and I missed it. I think I dozed off a time or two around then.

So he likes kissing Michelle. Is it enough to keep her around to the end?

So he took the two Ashleys on the twosome date. Wonder who picks who goes on those dates, him or the producers?

They showed just a flicker on Michelle's face - she looked angry - started to shake her head, but stopped and looked down. I think she's playing this pretty smart, but she's just playing a game show. She should go on survivor instead.

not caring for Chantol....and thinking he's not either

He pretty much said he doesn't have time for all her drama.

Somehow I see Michelle chasing Brad around with a butcher knife in one hand and a beer in the other screaming at him because he forgot to stop off for her Midol pills on his way home from work.

Why is the movie " Fatal Attraction" popping in my mind when I see Michelle?

:worship::worship:

Wasn't it "Are you Lonesome Tonight?" or was that earlier? But yeah, I thought the editing was really heavy handed.

That was tacky of the producers.

I physically ached watching last night's show. It all seemed so manufactured.

Michelle is good for ratings. I don't see her leaving too soon.

I do want to go see the Elvis Cirque show now. It's the only one in Las Vegas I haven't seen yet.

Brad looked scared to death when Michelle had him behind closed doors. :lmao:

She is so over the top, I don't even think she's psycho, I think she's acting out the role of the "bad girl" on the show. And she's not doing a very good job of it, either. :rotfl:

He said He "loves kissing Michelle" but he hasn't said he's falling for her. I think it's about sex. He's been interested in all of the strong take-charge types.

I'm going to be the lone voice on this thread and admit that I kind of like Michelle. I find her comical. She's trying to stand out and it's working. Brad seems to like it when the girls take charge with him and she knows this. I think if he was freaked out by their private meeting before the ceremony, he would not have given her the first rose. She hasn't really done anything mean to the other girls that I can recall.

She is funny! I haven't seen her be mean or dishonest to anyone, much to her credit. She just seems like a whack-o in all her talk about violence, and she's been saying he's her boyfriend since day 1.

I kind of expected that! Drama, :sad2:

:lmao::worship:

She NEVER disappoints!!!

geez, Robin, you had to egg her on!

(he-he, good one!)

The previews for next week (or some future episode) has Emily saying something about not wanting Brad to come to her home in North Carolina - so I guess the quote is either out of context, or she wants out of the show.
I think Brad was talking about meeting her daughter and she didn't think that it would be good for him to do so.

I like Shawntal, the funeral director, who went on the shopping spree. Also Jessica. They both don't seem to sit around and cry like some of the others.

Okay, don't confuse me any more than I am already!!

I had to go to the ABC.com site to find this Jessica person and couldn't find her. Did you mean Jackie? :confused3

I think they're all related!!

...okay, is it me, or is that milk-toast girl, Britt, TOO DANG SKINNY??!?!?!

Yeah, it's Jackie. I knew it started with a J! She and Shawntal don't hang and gush all over Brad like some of the others.

I think Brad's keeping Michelle is all about ratings. He probably has to keep someone controversial around to pump them up.

And, since someone wrote about this being a game show (or is that gaming), it's pretty tactical on Brad's part to retain someone who he knows will be disposable when the time comes. I think no one is more disposable than Michelle.

The way Brad looked at her when she told him not to speak. He didn't have "the look". Yeah, you tell me what guy will put up with that before the ring is actually up for grabs, although I wouldn't be surprised that Michelle makes it to the final three.

As to Emily, I think she and Brad do have a connection, but she's realistic enough--and has been hurt badly enough in life--to realize that she needs a mature individual to hook up with her and her child.

Really, Brad should feel fortunate if he could make Emily love him. No doubt she's a woman loyal to her man.

I said earlier that I think Michelle will get dumped when he picks the final four. Isn't that when he has the dates that are a few days long, at destinations? So, he really has to pare down by that point.

As for Emily, if she was with a former race car driver, she had been around money, power and fame. So she isn't all star struck the way some of these gals are.

For some people, they get their sense of self from the the people they are with. They think, if I'm picked by some star on a TV show, THAT must mean I'm special & lovable. Notice, none of the other 25 girls (except Madison/Vampire Girl,) took the time to ask whether he is right for THEM. It's an automatic assumption. He's the star, he's the Bachelor. That's enough. :sad2:

For Emily, she may fall for him because she doesn't have enough past experience to see past all his lines and this false wooing.

On the other hand, she's not the type to instantly fall in love just because someone takes her on a $5000 shopping spree, the way these other gals would. She's got enough sense to delve deeper, into his integrity and such, the things that really matter about a partner, as she has a daughter on the line, too.

Can anyone really see Brad settling down to be a father? he's too into himself and all these high-risk stunts & sports he's doing. This show has been like crack for him & his ego. Charlie Sheen, move over. He had five hookers. Brad had 25 women (twice!) fawning over him. :p

I can't stand Brad. I can't stand Michelle. But #1 on my list is that therapist!! Brad at least shows a flicker of decency by having some concern about how the women are feeling and the therapist just blows that off and makes sure Brad thinks about #1 and #1 only. I wanted to slap him!

And really Brad pulling Emily aside over and over was obnoxious. Kudos to Alli for her snarky comment about the situation with Emily and also Chantal for having the cajones to say something to Brad about how his pulling Emily aside over and over looked to the rest of them.

If Emily didn't have the sob story that she has, I bet she would have been long gone. She is probably a nice person and is just quiet but on TV she comes off as having zero personality and I just don't see any sort of anything between them other than the fact that she is a delicate flower that Brad feels the need to try to protect her.

There really is something to be said about picking the bachelors/ettes from the pool of previous contestants. At least they have been there and know what the rest of them feel like. Brad is just CLUELESS. It still boggles my mind that they gave him another shot at this!

Any guesses on how many girls cry this week?
I'm guessing two.

What's with all these high risk, stunt activity dates? :confused3
Brad isn't James Bond. :p

I wonder if a guy producer decided what all the dates would be. They seem like more guy activities. I don't think a woman sat there and thought all of these up. "Yes, let's put the women through their scariest fears for dates." :scratchin

No rose for the group date, I'd love to have heard what was said on the one on one time with the other girls.

Well, if he didn't act like such a self absorbed SOB, they wouldn't be complaining so much. he does things for one girl right in front of all the others, with NO thought or sensitivity to how they would feel seeing him do that.

HELLO ladies! Get a clue, this is how he will ALWAYS be - especially once the cameras are off and he has to plan real life. :sad2: The show is trying so hard to make him seem like such a hero, alpha male to these girls. It's ridiculous.

blech. Brad makes me feel icky.
