I'm new here, so that's why you don't recognize my name. Anyways, I was just wondering, for those of you who are avid Disney Goers, how do you deal with the wait? I mean, my family goes once a year, and it's amazing, but everytime I go on the Magical express and leave my resort, i'm ready to go back. Of course if I could spend all my time there, it wouldn't be as awesome. But here's my question. So, what kind of things do you do when it starts to get closer and you get really excited? I like to look up all things Disnye on the internet, because i'm so excited for it. I'm lame, I know.

You're not lame, we all do it.

I look up disney stuff on the internet, read disney travel books, listen to disney music, watch disney movies, and watch attractions on Youtube.

I read other people's trip reports, have a pretrip report of my own, look up Disney stuff on the web, "ride" the rides on youtube, and have a countdown until my next trip(:

i listen to disney music :D

and dance in my underwear! .. wait what?
xD

I'm the same way. My family and I go usually in June every year so once it hits like February that's when it gets bad for me. I can't focus in class because I just want it to be summer already and go to Disney.

I tend to look up Disney related things on the internet as well. I've been coming on these boards a lot lately for entertainment between classes and because it gets me even more excited for my trip. Plus I blame my dad because he is always on here. Haha. Also, as silly as this sounds I love listening to music from the parks and watching home videos from past trips :)

I have theme park DVDs and attraction DVDs, so I am constantly watching them! I watch one disney movie a week (at the minimum) lol I go in October, so I always am watching videos of MIckey's NOt so scary Halloween Party

i usually watch the park DVD's. listen to the music and the wdw radio podcast. go on here, i also re-read the kingdom keepers books. if you haven't read them yet you should!!!! the 3rd comes out in april, and it's gonna be over 500 pages!!!!!!!!!!! me and a few of my disney lovin' friends joke around that we belong in DGA, disney goers annonoMOUSE. we'll talk about the parks and any special events coming up. i'll also go through old disney pictures and watch disney animated movies. sometime in january/February i got sick and had a disney movie marathon: hercules, hunchback, mulan, snow white, Aladdin, little mermaid, and anastaisa(wait, thats not disney!!!! oh well it's a rly good movie!). reading other people's trip reports is fun too!

I usually watch ride videos on YouTube, talk to my friends and sister about it all day, draw pictures of my fave characters, look at photos and videos taken there with my family, listen to Disney World music.

It's like a party for me. :D

i hate to say it. but i have an AP. i go enough to satisfy my needs. i'm actually heading down to DL for 2 day during spring break. but when i am away. i come on these boards and play DIsc golf and Wakeboard. keep my mind off it. but on my ride down... it's 7 hours of classic disney music. especially when i'm driving

I always watch the planning DVDs, read trip reports on the DIS, and watch attractions on YouTube [which I sometimes do even when we're not planning a vacation!] :thumbsup2

I love watching youtube videos of attractions! I just listen to attraction music and get on Disney sites most the time. Last trip to the World I made my own autograph book, it was alot of fun and the characters loved seeing their pictures in it.

your SOOO not lame. cuz if you are, then i am too :) so...
yeah i like like 10-15 minutes away from disneyland, so it kind of helps the wanting of wdw :goodvibes
go on youtube and look at attractions (i do all the time :wizard:
and plan your trip!!!! :rotfl:

I love watching videos on youtube and rides and stuff from the big d podcast on itunes!!!:happytv:
My family and i also talk about it nonstop, like what we're most excited for!!
My sister and my dad are also crazy planners, so we always have to work on "schedules" and packing lists!!!
Honestly, I think having to wait longer is one of the best parts cause it helps build up the excitement!!!:woohoo::woohoo::woohoo:
