We moved from a house to an apartment recently and made two changes for convenience that is saving us a fortune! Firstly we installed a water filter into our sink (rare over here in Australia) so no more bottled water. My DH used to use bottled water for his coffee so we were spending over $20 a week just on water - but no more!
The other big change was how we shop. Before we would take groceries from the garage to the kitchen - now it has to go up in an elevator. So I've started shopping on line for groceries. It costs $8 for delivery but I don't see everything that is available, I only plug in the things on my list. That means no impulse buys!
