THE AMAZING RACE 15, Season Starts 09/27/09

I'm OK with the winners. I warmed up to them in the last couple of weeks .

Now ... what you have all been waiting for ...

The Finale Dinner:

Cheese and crackers
Vegetarian sushi
Shrimp Cocktail
Wedge salad with blue cheese dressing, tomatoes and bacon bits

I was glad with the outcome. They were probably one of the best teams ever in AR. They stayed focused and managed not to nit pick each other like most of the other teams did at one point or another.

I was surprised they didn't have that pretty standard task of putting all the other legs in the right order. That is the task I know would kill me. I would hope doing the race in a month would make it easier than watching it over 3 though, so maybe it isn't so bad for the racers as it seems to the viewers.

I searched Wikipedia (I know it isn't totally reliable) it says the race started November 28th in LA. I would expect it would be finished by Christmas. Hopefully we will see a new season by spring.

I think it would be worse for them, because most if not all of the footage we see is edited, I bet is hard to remember those details after so many countries, challenges etc.

You're right MnC didn't picked fights with other teams, most of the time they were ahead and focused on their own race.

I will miss this season, I've really enjoyed it, I watched every episode on CBS.com.
I really liked Brian and Ericka you can tell that they really love one another, even though Ericka sucks under pressure. If she could have stayed cool, I beleive they could have maintained that lead they had. As far as I'm concerned Brian treated her like gold on ever episode, good man.

Now that the race is over I really like the brothers too, I know some of their moves were shady but when your under pressure and want to win so bad I know it brings out things you wouldn't normally do. Their fighting reminded me of my dh and myself under stress, some people just can't deal good like that, but it's always ok later after a lot of I'm sorries..lol.

Megan and C. deserved to win they ran a good race, but I found them to be a little boring, but good for them just the same.

I think the final tasks have certainly got a lot easier over the years, the ending use to be very hard and you were sweating with them, now it seems it just who ever has the better cab driver????

I've enjoyed this thread and reading all the post...Godspeed everyone and Merry Christmas All....sure could use that million dollars myself right now.

That was a pretty exciting finale! Though I liked the challenges of putting things in order since everyone is usually there @ the same time & its a close race I liked not having it 'cause it was anyones game - you didn't have to be smart to win -or have a good memory. YOu just had to keep your cool & not freak out!

Well, I think Brian should have won, or at least get some type of bonus, for being the only finalist to know the largest casino in Monaco is the Monte Carlo - and not have to ask multiple people, and not have to go to several hotels, and not have to say, "Follow that cab"...

IIRC, Amazing Race has never shown previews after the final show.

I agree. He is a saint as far as I'm concerned. They kept focusing on how Erika's family couldn't help but accept him now. I was thinking, "his family has got to see what a witch SHE is now." She's horrible when the slightest thing goes wrong for her.

They deserved to win, but I also think they're a bit boring. I predicted they would win on the first episode.

Yes. I liked it better when it depended more on the teams and less on luck.

There was talk last week about Amazing Race doing a celebrity season. The Miss America contestant that butchered her speech "uh--the Iraq, etc" was one of the ones being talked about.

Wikipedia says that Amazing Race 16 is being shot now Nov-Dec, 2009.

M & C surely deserved to win. They came from behind in the final leg and finished first so many times during this season. They were the strongest team.

I wished Wayne Newton wouldn't have told the brothers who he was. They had the hint who he was with "Mr. Las Vegas." He should have just told them to go to, "my house."

You're all right about Brian's family seeing what she's like now. I think that pair should consider adoption if they want kids. Could you imagine her in a delivery room? Poor Brian.

Glad the brothers lost. I wish they came in third in case AR pays out based on finish position like Survivor does.

I think Brian knew that because they were just in Las Vegas, isnt that what they said before last night ? That is how I knew the answer to the question....I knew the hotels on the strip.

I was hoping Wayne wouldn't have said who he was either. That would have made it pretty hard then to find his house.

Me too!!! They were my least favorite team the last few weeks. I was happy Meghan and Cheyne won, they really deserved it. Poor Brian when Erica couldn't hold it together to grab the flower bouquet. I think they would have come in second if she would have not gotten frustrated. I'm glad to see her Mother came around and accepts Brian now as her son-in-law.

Already looking for the next season of AR, heard that Jeff and Jordan from Big Brother are going to be on. Hope it's true!!

I always love watching the show and trying to figure out which tasks I would do and which ones my BFF would do. I think that we probably would have had a breakdown doing the Cirque task though. She probably would have had me in the bungee but I wouldn't have been listening to her. Ah!! One day we will actually get our application out there. I think we would be pretty darn funny on the show!

I'm glad the brothers didn't win, but Brian and Erica really had me going thinking they were going to pull out the upset!
