Well I sure hope that the brothers lose this race. I don;t like cheaters and I can;'t abide liars and these two seem to be willing to win by lying and cheating. I believe that the Trotters would have get the bargain if Big Easy got the combination first. They have have played fair throughout.

I have no idea why the combination was difficult for BE, I can only say that I cannot never unscramble words and numbers are for me.

I don;t care who wins now as long as it is not the Brothers. The Poster who suggested that future employers may see the race is right, I would nto want either one working for me and I think working with either one would be beyond stressful...talk about watching your back all the time!

I don't want them to win either and I understand not liking them but I wouldn't call them cheaters. That implies they broke rules of the game and I haven't seen that done.

I consider them cheaters, too. Maybe not against official game rules, but definitely against moral code, IMHO.

Why didn't they have their own taxi wait instead of taking Brian & Erika's (I remember them bribing the driver - they'll "pay more" if he took them instead of waiting); the whole thing of "we'll team up and you give me the answer if you get it first but if I get it first, too bad for you, I won't give you the answer". I know that it's a race and they're trying to win but I don't remember Meghan & Cheyne or Brian & Erika doing crap like that to get ahead. The GT's played fair too and it bit them in the butt.

The brothers are immoral, selfish, bickering jerks. Just my opinion.

I really look for Cheyne and Megan to win, they always think the clues out, and stay pretty calm under pressure.

I don't look for the brothers to win, the way they act under stress will cause them to most likely lose. But you have to admit they are fun to watch.

I would be very suprised to see Brian and Ericka win, she gets to mad quickly and can't keep her head, and I think he has been the one carrying them this whole way. Brian has played a good game as far as I'm concerned, he has shown her huge respect whenever she has acted so stressed and sometimes like a big spoilt baby. I hope they win for his sake.

Did it seem to you like they had to ride a stationary bike for a bit to get their vitals up before they got their clue? It seemed like that part was completely edited out, but one of the girls was getting off a bike I thought.

It did look like Megan was getting off the bike when they received their clue.

Oh, don't get me wrong, I don't like them either but I don't think they have broken the rules of the game that's why I wouldn't use the term cheater. There are however plenty of other non-flattering words I would use.

I did have to laugh at Erica, the former Miss America being called an ugly American. I found that rather ironic.

As much as I don't like the brothers it seems to me that Dan is the driving force with the dirty tricks. Didn't Dan have the idea to steal the taxi? And Dan was the one who reneged on the deal with Big Easy. And isn't Dan the one that is doing all the yelling? Sure, Sam went along with the taxi theft but he seems to be a bit embarrassed by his brother's actions in the interviews. Don't get me wrong, I don't like either one but I like Dan a whole lot less than Sam.

Regarding the gollum challenge. I vaguely recall the brothers discussing covering up the broken arm before they present it to the rabbi. I think they just smoothed the clay over the break just to get by. The rabbi wouldn't have known about the break until he went to move it.

I live in Minnesota. It sometimes gets to an ACTUAL temp of 40 below. At that temp, I do not go outside at all (for even a minute) with exposed skin. It will freeze. At that temp, if you spit, it will freeze before it hits the ground. (My kids call them spitsicles). It simply is not possible to stand two minutes in -256 degrees without frost bite. Period.

If you've ever been in cold as extreme as Minnesota, you know what I'm talking about.

Oh, and lake water in the dead of winter (underneath the ice) is about 32 degrees. Significantly warmer than -256. Yet in the challenge a few years ago, people had exposure issues from being in water that cold.

I believe the place CLAIMS to have it severely cold, but I don't believe it is really that cold. People would die.

That kind of weather takes your breath away. Schools and social activities are closed/cancelled. So I know what you're talking about.

It is possible to last 2 to 3 minutes in the type of chamber they used last night. It is a common therapy for a number of different things. They cover the areas that are prone to frostbite and your body will produce endorphins to deal with the rest.

You skin temperature drops but inside the chamber your core body temperature changes very little.

Well! Live and learn! I particularly recommend the Timesonline article. It also explained the presence of the treadmills or bikes: to exercise for 20 minutes after getting out.

Of course, each article pointed out that the chamber the writer visited is a rather balmy -120 C, instead of the -160 claimed in Prague.

I'm not crazy about any of the teams in the final, but I really can't stand the brothers.

Can I root for Megan and Brian to form a new team and win? I like them but not Cheyne or Erika.

Fox will show the Giants-Cowboys game at 4:15 pm, so it looks like that CBS will start at 8:00 pm EST.
