THE AMAZING RACE 15, Season Starts 09/27/09

If TAR would have put a restriction on that Detour, that would not have been fair to any of the teams.

I will agree that putting a restriction on a roadblock is ok, 1 person from every team HAS to do it, but to tell ONE team that they can or can't do one of the two options in the detour is not cool at all. The rapids thing was not going to be easy for any team if both member didn't have some type of water craft knowledge.

When the teams did the task where they had to go up on the carnival ride and look for the arrow, the taller GT was not able to do it. The clue said you could not be taller than a certain height (forgot what it was) and the shorter GT said that means I have to go.

That was a roadblock, which I am ok with TAR saying one or the other can't do, due to height or lack there of, weight, or if there was a roadblock that included having to listen for a word or letter or phrase and from last year, it stating that Luke wouldn't have been able to do it.

When it comes to the detours, where they have to choose between the 2 tasks, that is were I would have a problem with TAR saying Team 1 can only do the harder of the two because 1 of the team members is to "whatever" to do the easier task.

Got ya!;)

The brothers have got to go. The drama from the brothers is just over the top.

I am not sure if Brian and Erica can make up the time difference and the speed bump to catch up with the other teams.

On the one attempt of doing the rapids by the brothers, I was just waiting to see Big Easy's foot slip off of the rope and oops-a-daisy kick one of the brothers in the head as they went by. It was crazy how low he was hanging on that wire.

I was waiting for him to just "walk it" during the middle part of that rope! Looked like his feet could just about touch the ground! I'm hoping the brothers go next.:thumbsup2

this was posted on the BB11 thread about the new season of AR that just started <filming> today!

Looks like Jeff and Jordan are going to be on the next season of Amazing Race. :cool1:

Big Brother 11 winner Jordan Lloyd and her fan favorite boyfriend Jeff Schroeder are set to compete on season 16 of The Amazing Race, set to debut in early 2010.

The next edition of CBS’s wildly popular reality show The Amazing Race began in Los Angeles on November 28, 2009. Excited fans at LAX quickly noticed two familiar faces among the new teams: Big Brother 11 fan favorite Jeff Schroeder and his girlfriend, Big Brother 11 champion Jordan Lloyd.

Schroeder and Lloyd, who met in the Big Brother House, began a flirtatious friendship and remained allies during the game. The couple became so popular with fans that Schroeder won a $25,000 ‘American’s Favorite Juror’ prize, and Lloyd won ‘America’s Vote’, which helped her to ultimately win the game. On October 20, 2009, Schroeder and Lloyd officially confirmed to People Magazine that they were dating. On October 27, 2009, they made a guest appearance on CBS’s The Bold and The Beautiful.

Fans had been speculating since the finale of Big Brother 11 that the pair may be invited to compete on The Amazing Race. After all, this is not the first time that CBS has allowed and encouraged crossovers among its popular reality shows. On the Amazing Race 5, Big Brother 4 runner-up Alison Irwin competed with her then-boyfriend Donny Patrick. On the Amazing Race 7, Survivor: All-Stars winner and runner-up Amber Brkich and fiancé Rob Mariano finished in second place, and were invited back for the Amazing Race: All-Stars Edition.

Prior to the photo confirmation at LAX, there was significant peripheral evidence pointing to Schroeder and Lloyd’s participation in the upcoming Amazing Race. In previous interviews, Schroeder had hinted that he and Lloyd were preparing for a “long vacation” and had something big planned in the future. Schroeder had also been absent from his Twitter account since November 22nd, which fit with the speculated filming dates for the Race.

Overall, the pair should provide for more than a few memorable moments on the Race. Lloyd is a small-town southern girl who may not be accustomed to high-stress travel and mingling with other cultures. Schroeder is well-remembered for his poor spelling and pronunciation of words such as ‘Technotronics’ and ‘Coup d’Etat.’ It should be amusing seeing the pair try to pronounce foreign words and communicate with those who don’t speak English as they try to navigate around the world.

It wasn't the clue it was the ride that had a max height restriction so the taller GT wasn't able to ride.

I was wondering why I havent been seeing many tweets from Jeff lately. I guess I know why! I can't wait to see them on AR!!!

Sop who's seen the commercials for tonight?

Any guesses on who gets the penalty? and what the penalty may be?

Dare we hope it be the bros:idea:

Talked with hubby about this at dinner....he had no opinion. But I'm thinking Erica and hubby would be crazy to do this, after all they had the speed bump. I'm thinking the brothers would be arrogant enough to do this, thinking Erica and hubby will be so far behind. Now if it is a challenge a team just can't do for whatever reason.....hope it's the brothers. Their attitudes stink in many ways. Yeah I know it's a race but still......

I'm sick of the brothers. They are playing dirty to me. I hope they go home tonight.

 The brothers are such hypocrites. I can't stand them!

"It starts with an F" Karma is harsh. That's all I'm saying on these boards.

I soooo agree!!! Karma baby!! I hope it bites them tonight! They are soooo wrong!!!!! Now he could have given Big Easy the clue. If Big Easy figured it out first he would've been begging for the answer
