AR started about a half hour late today, here on the east coast. I just changed my DVR setting for this series to stop recording 1 1/2 hours later!

Good episode so far! I won't say which team just came in first place, but I'm happy about it.

I'm guessing it had to put in place before teams started bringing items to use just for that.

I thought the brother team gave another driver something early in the season like a watch or shoes or something? Boy, thought was a long penalty!

I am sick of the show always sarting late! 1st it was football, then basketball, now golf? What's next Nascar?

I wonder if that was a new rule put in place this season I seem to remember other episodes where teams had to bargain with other items - shoes, watches..... Seemed like a very long penalty for what they did.... However, the "should" know rules / penalties before starting the game.

They tried in Russia, they wanted to give the cab driver their watch, but he already had a rolex.

Luke (of the Mom/Son team) and one of the sisters end up at the clue box at the same time (they show this happening 2 different times), and they try to knock each other out of the way so they can grab their clue first; they end up calling each other the "B" word. But there appear to be strong feelings coming from each of them, it seems pretty intense from the preview they showed.

Man, I just can't understand why people leave their backpacks in taxis, and their documents away from them! I see why they may want to have the cabbie wait when they're in a remote area, but pay the guy, get your stuff and ask him to wait!

And next week looks like Luke really gets to elbowing with one of the sisters. They both throw elbows!

I rewound to watch the preview a second time.

Luke was at the clue box, opening it up, when Jenn came up behind him and put her hands on his shoulders, so he threw an elbow. I'm thinking he's standing there getting his clue and all of a sudden, somebody grabs him - he has no idea who, cuz he couldn't hear them approaching. So maybe that is why?

The second clue box? Well...I guess we'll find out next week!

Tonight's show was great...couldn't believe the 2 teams left their stuff in their taxis. Kisha and Jenn got lucky finding a taxi driver who would take them to the pit stop for free.

Those were some major penalties, but I'm loving it cuz those brothers really seem to push the limits sometimes. Plus I just don't like them.

Did I miss something at the beginning? I think they showed Tammy and Victor leaving at 9:27, then the second three teams all leaving pretty close together at 12:30ish, 12:40ish, etc, is that right? But the brothers had had an hour penalty last time and ended up third, so how did there end up being 3 hours between the first three teams, rather than just one hour?

and here i thought i was going crazy! i swear i heard the same thing and could not figure out how that was possible. i have no idea how that happened,i'm pretty sure nothing was mentioned about it?

I saw that, too! Didn't make any sense cuz we know Victor & Tammy were not that far ahead, plus when they checked in, Mark & Mike only had about 4 minutes of their penalty left. So my guess would be that somebody messed up when putting the departure times on the screen.

I wonder if the penalties were extra long because it was their third and fourth penalty. I don't remember anyone having that many penalties before so maybe the race has it set up to prevent intentional penalties. Like, the first two penalties are for 30 minutes, the next two penalties are two hours, the next two are four hours. It would make sense and seem to keep people from trying to break the rules to their advantage.

I too remember teams in past seasons "bartering" for cab far. M&M just have a "black cloud" above their heads....

I was thinking that same thing. As a matter of fact, we had to pause the DVR so DH and I could have a discussion about it. In the end, he admitted that I was right and that there must have been an error in the times.

Next week does look good. I also agree with the person who said Luke couldn't hear her coming up behind him so when someone grabs you or even touches your body, you react.

It should be interesting to see how that is played out.

Wow, last night was GOOD!! So glad the sisters made it. They don't get along well really, but I like how they play (well, until I saw the preview for next week).

With all these new penalties, anyone else thinking there may be a penalty involved for fighting or cursing next week? Looks a little intense.
