I don't like the cheerleaders much, either, but it's funny how different people's perceptions can be. I hated Nick and Starr. They lied to the other teams (frat boy about helping if they figured out the wall, then about the u-turning thing, telling one team that another team was trying to get them to u-turn them, when really it was them.), and grabbed clues right out of another team's hand. They were a strong team, and weren't the rudest the race has seen, but they played dirty, IMO.
U-turns are part of the race, and teams should expect them to be used strategically, as Margie and Luke did, to oust a strong team. And they had the guts to own up to it, when they could have kept quiet and let the other teams think it wasn't them. Lying to other teams obviously isn't forbidden by AR rules, but is completely different, IMO, from using u-turns and says a lot about a person/team's character.
Tammy or Victor (can't remember which now) also grabbed a clue right out of one of the stunt men's hands in one of the early legs, which was the beginning of my disrespect for them. The whining and idiocy when they took the wrong trail on the vampire detour, and Victor's obvious phony-ness sealed the deal as the most annoying team to me.
