IMO, a spoiler is something that hasn't aired yet. If it's aired in your time zone it's OK to talk about it. Those of us in the west (or who have recorded it to watch later) should realize that those in the east have seen the show before us and we should know not to look at the thread if we don't want to see what happens.That said, last season, a lot of people would post things like "I can't believe who was eliminated", and "I didn't see that coming", without actually naming names for those first couple hours after the show first aired, and I must say, I really appreciated that, since I didn't really to know what happened, but still couldn't resist looking at the thread before the show aired in my time zone!
My only beef with spoilers is when someone posts a huge, major spoiler with no warning. Even if it's in spoiler font, expecting to see next week's elimination, then seeing the names of the final three in the second week of the season is kind of a bummer. If someone is going to post big, major spoilers, please label them that way, OK?
