Ok, so I technically already wrote a TR on my mom's account, but here it is in BIGGER, BETTER, SPARKIER form! So here's the Pre-Trip report. I'll figure out how to get the pics up on my computer, so you can all see our FABULOUS trip!

What: Birthday trip to USO/IoA!
When: July 28, 29, 30, 31, August 1.
Where: RPR in Orlando, FL ON Universal property!
Why: Uh, my birthday! The past 3 years, yes, THREE, we've gone on vacation. For my mom's birthday (May '05, Riviera Maya, Mexico) and my dad's birthday (June '04, Riviera Maya, Mexico and June '06, Punta Cana, Domincan Republic). So now, finally, after 13 birhtdays at home, it's my turn!

Background Info:
Mom announces it's Family Vacation Time. We researched many things, including California (DL/DCA, MM, etc), Disney World, among others. Finally, we decide on Universal Orlando (last trip for me, '99, for parents, Chuck E. Cheese convention, '02?) Now, for the tickets. After searching online, I stumble upon a deal. Mom gets all excited, and BAM! We have a vacation. $85 ticket deal, along with Meal Deal (two days), and roundtrip Southwest Airlines tickets. YES!

Mom had talked to me about taking along a friend. Wait, what? Taking along one of my best friends? On vacation? To FLORIDA?! YES, PLEASE! AHHH!! So, I call my BFF Sam (More about the cast later). Her response? "Wait, what? A trip to Florida? You're asking ME?!" A kajillion emails later, her dad convinces her mom to let her go! I was at dress rehersal for my dance recital at the time of the news, so I didn't know until my dad told me, upon picking me up, "Sam called. She didn't sound happy..." Panicking, I get out my cell, and call, expecting the worst. She started screaming. She could come! Dad laughed, saying that he had known the whole time. We were VERY excited! :goodvibes

THE CAST!
Mom, 42. :surfweb: A "family services coodinator". Works 8-4 weekdays, and needs a vacation somewhere...relaxing. Has things planned for my birthday, apparently...
Dad, 42. :coffee: General manager at Chuck E. Cheese. Works long hours 5 days a week (on average). Needs this vacation more than mom does!
Me, 13 (turned 14 while there). :music: Love to listen to music, play guitar, dance, talk to friends, etc. Typical teenager. Honors student!
Sam, 14. :artist: Loves to draw, listen to music, sing, act, talk, play volleyball, etc. Girl's JV volleyball team at PHS our freshman year! Awesome drawer, singer, etc. In the Drama Club both years of AJHS. BIG dreamer, and BIG fan of anime!

Anyway, we're all set for the trip! The cats will be cat-sat (LOL :rotfl:) by the grandparents, and the dog is going to be under the care of family friends. Sam's parents will pick us up at 5:00-ish on Saturday (ugh), and will drive us to the airport. Which, by the way, is right down the street from our house. Seriously, it's only 5, 10 minutes away! From there, we will check in, and go to the gate for our 6:50 flight nonstop to MCO!

Itinerary:
Saturday:
Arrive in MCO around 9:30-10:00. Get luggage. Take shuttle to RPR. Check in to room. Head out to whichever park we end up feeling like. Call it an early night.
Sunday: Start out with whichever park we did not do on Saturday. Spend a good chunk of the day there. Meal Deal Day! Go to the other park in the evening.
Monday: My birthday! Cabana by the pool. Dinner at Bubba Gump's.
Tuesday: Last full day. Spend time at both parks. Meal Deal Day!
Wednesday: Pack. Go to one (or even both) parks in the morning/early afternoon for "one more ride". Check out before this. Eat an early lunch. Leave hotel at 3:00. Flight time: 7:00-ish. Nonstop to PVD. Sam's parents will bring us back to our house.
Will pick up the dog on Thursday, unpack, etc.

Extra Info:
Does this sound familiar? There is a similar TR under scoobysmom (yes, my mom). And yes, I wrote it. But hated it. So hopefully, this one will be better (after reading many, many more awesome TR's, such as the ones by AlexandNessa, and bubba'smom, among others).
About my name here: Amanda Sparks is from a story I wrote in 8th grade. She is a teenage witch who saves the world with her friends, in addition to classes at Morrible's School of Witchcraft and Sorcery. There is also a sequel. Good times, good times.

So sit back :happytv:
Grab some popcorn popcorn::
And get ready to rock on! :rockband:

p.s. Amanda Sparks is not a bad witch. That would be the villian in the stories, Haley. :stir:

ENJOY!

Great report. My daughter just turned 14 and she would have to ask me how to spell a majority of your vocabulary.

Thanks you, Motherfletcher, for the positive words :) I'm a grammar Nazi, believe me (just ask any of my friends or family)! And now for some very sad news:
My parents...deleted...the vacation pictures...from...the memory card...in their camera. :sad1:
We do have a scanner, which would mean scanning all of the pictures into their computer, and doing a bunch of other complicated things. So this TR will be, sadly, pictureless. :guilty: Very, very sorry.

Anyway, on to DAY 1 of the AMAZING AMANDASPARKS730 BIRTHDAY TRIP!!

July 28, 2007

Mom woke up at like, 3 A.M. I heard her take a shower at 3:30 (some ungodly hour). My alarm clock went off at 4:30 A.M. Great. Well, it was good practice for high school. Because, well, now I get up at 5:30 A.M. Ah well, it would be worth it! We did some last-minute packing (i.e. hairbrush, other things needed in the morning), and fed the cats (and put the auto-feeder in the fish tank). Around 5:00, we were outside on the front steps. Yes, it only takes me a few minutes to get dressed. In half an hour, I got dressed, made my bed, finished packing, brushed my teeth, put my hair up, AND helped my parents with last minute things. I'm used to it. **Off topic for 2 seconds. I am an only child. No siblings. Technically, my friends and pets are my brothers and sisters. LONG story!** I'm an experianced (sp?) traveler! Seriously, my first plane trip was when I was 2 years old, to Disney World. Anyways...Sam's parents picked us up a little past 5 A.M. Her mom was sad, but she managed, LOL. We arrived at the airport close to 5:30. Yes, that fast! I think it only took 5 minutes to get to the terminal dropoff area. From my house. Yeah. So we checked in (lots of people going "with us") and made our way to security. The line wasn't that bad, actually. Perhaps, 10 minutes? We veered off left to the Southwest terminal. This only took 3 minutes. The airport here is VERY small. Dad went to get Dunkin' Donuts for us (you can find one practically every quarter mile in my hometown. Literally, you can find 2, 3, even 4 on the same street! We ate and played cards with Mom while waiting. Finally, they called our flight! We were allowed to preboard, as Dad can't sit towards the back of the plane (claustrophobia). We actually got the second or third row of the plane! :woohoo: We're on our way! Sam and I listened to our iPods and read magazines (mine). Sometime over North Carolina (I think? Halfway through the flight, anyway) we started playing cards again (with Mom). Gosh, it was a LOOOOOONG game of WAR we had going! Dad was diagonally across from us, reading the 7th Harry Potter book (lent to him by me, who read it in less than a week!). Sam had the window seat, then me, then Mom. When we began to decend, we looked out to see...FLORIDA! Wait, what's that? Oh, yes, palm trees! Now, you do NOT see those in N.E.! We were in MCO around 9:30 A.M. Not bad time at all! Sam called her parents to let them know that we had arrived in one piece, and we were on to my favorite piece of MCO-the tram thing! Yay! :rotfl2: Luggage claim took a little while, but we got our luggage and went outside to get our shuttle to RPR! There were a few stops along the way, but we did get to go down I-Drive (my first time seeing it), and we saw some cool restaurants, shops, mini-golf, lots of cool things! Our arrival at RPR? Around 10:15. WHOOT WHOOT! It was BEAUTIFUL, and what was that? The HULK?! AHHHHHHH!!!!!!

Check in was a breeze, as Mom had signed up for Loew's Memebers (or whatever that is called!). We were in Tower 3, fifth floor. I don't recall the room number, though...:confused3 We left the suitcases there, put on sunblock, got our passholders and room keys, and we were ready to go! Our family friends (the ones who were watching Scooby) went to USO/IoA previously this year for their daughter's dance competition (yes, I am friends with them), so they gave us their passholders! That saved us some money, so we were happy! (I still have mine with the key still in it, LOL. Great souvenir!) I had read here on the DIS that walking was a good way to get from RPR to the parks, so I insisted on walking (besides, the line for the water-taxi was long). We finally arrived at the "crossroads" and now had make one big decision: which park to do first? Sam said IoA, so I agreed, and we went left. She and I had our tickets from AAA, but Mom and Dad still had to get theirs. So Mom got in the Customer Services line and waited. And waited...and waited...UGH! The line was very slow, the people working there very slow...Dad finally got someone at the normal ticket window to validate the papers, and we were finally in after a grand total of an hour and a HALF to get in!

Where to first? Let's see. It's big. It's green. It's...scary... It's THE HULK! I can't tell you how incredibly nervous I was riding this. But, we went on. I did love flashing our badges to the TM and getting waved ahead. Adrenaline kicked in going up the launch. And then...ZOOOOOOOOOM! Oh. My. GOOOOOOOOOOOODDDDDDDDDD!!!!!!!! This was the most amazing rollercoaster I have EVER been on! I loved every minute of it! I begged to go on SpiderMan next, and everyone agreed. Mom and Dad had gone on it, and loved it. We put on our glasses, got in our car, and went off. This is a great ride. Every twist and turn was a new surprise. The drop scene was absoultely heart-dropping! After, we were hungry, so we decided to eat at the Captain America Diner. The wait was VERY long, but we got our food. We had been planning to go on Dr. Doom next, but the sky opened up, and it began to rain. No, not rain, POUR! We hid under a storefront for awhile, jumping at the thunder, and watching everyone scramble to get to saftey (or onto Spidey! :rotfl: ) The rain did let up, and we walked to Toon Lagoon. Heck, we were already wet, why not do the water rides? We waited awhile for Popeye to get up-and-running again, but we got on the ride. Well, they're not kidding when they say it's the "wettest ride in all Orlando"! :lmao: SOAKED! Then, we trekked over to Dudley Do-Right. I liked this ride. The first two smaller drops get you a LOT wetter than the final one, though! Also, I'm glad to have ridden it before they installed those dang LAPBARS! INJUSTICE! **Lapbar rant done** Of course, we just HAD to do JPRA after this. Gosh, this ride is so much FUN! The theming is great, as well. We actually got the front of the log, too! We then hiked back through towards POE. Looking at our dinner options, we decide on Confisco's. First, we headed into Suess Landing. First, Cat in the Cat. It was pretty cute, and definately zany and Suess-ish! Next, Caro-suess-El. Mom took pictures while the rest of us rode. Last was High in the Sky Suess Trolley Train. We rode the track that goes through Circus McGirkus. It was cute. Great photo ops! Dinner was between 5:30 and 6:00 P.M. Confisco's was nice, but the service was VERY slow (see a theme here?). The food was okay. After, we went to Lost Continent for those Henna Tattoos that I'd read about in Kelly Monaghan's book (great book, by the way! It really helped for this trip!). Mine was on my right ankle, and said "dream" in Japanese. Sam's was on her left wrist and said "luck" in Japanese. We were able to catch the rickshaw people on our walk back to the RPR. Much worth it. We went up to the room, and hung out for the rest of the night. We also called home to let family (Sam's parents and my grandparents) for the status report. Crawling into bed, we were happy, but tired. A great day!

Sparks, out!

Keep it coming. What was the view from your room? The interstate?

Yes, it was. We saw Wet N' Wild, the interstate, and looking down, a pond-like thing. Not that we were in the room often! Next installment, later tonight or Friday.

Day 2:
July 29, 2007

We were up around 8:00 A.M. Ate breakfast in the room. No, we didn't order room service or anything. We're smart travelers, and brought our food with us! Little mini muffins, doughnuts, and mini cereals. All we had to do was buy milk/OJ. YUM! Anyway, we were out of the room close to 9:00, and in USO (water taxied) by 9:10 A.M. Good timing! We were able to catch the first (or maybe second?) showing of Shrek 4D. :3dglasses We got the second row from the screen. That's right, SECOND row. Waaaaay too close. The effects were rather lost (well, at least on me). It was still cute, though, don't get me wrong. Especially funny were the preshow and signs (i.e. fastpass spoof, etc). The unanimous vote for next? ROTM! Of course, of course. This was our very first sprinkling of the mummy dust that I've heard about on the DIS, and we were all excited. So we put our bags in the lockers, and jumped in the EP line. Well, you know how they check the passes halfway through the queue? Well, the TM jumped out at us and yelled "EXPRESS PASSES!" He scared the ** out of us! :rotfl: Anyway, so we got on the ride, not sure what to expect. At first, we thought it'd be lame. Like, a haunted house ride-through "ahh the mummies are jumping out at us" type thing. But something inside me was like, "I KNOW there's more!" Well, that proved right as we were flung backwards and then up a lift hill...and took off at 45 MPH. WHAT?! :scared1: LOL. Then, at the fake stop, Mom was like "I don't think it's quite over yet..." Of course not! ROTM was probably the best ride of the day. Onto SanFran/AMITY. Dad sat out Earthquake (didn't like it too much), so the girls went on. The preshow is long, yes, and not needed. The ride part was okay. I don't want to be in an earthquake now, though! (not that I ever WANTED to or anything...just saying... ) JAWS was next on the list, and well...Sam and I had found a VERY funny video of the ride on youtube, so we memorized the lines and everything! The guide that we had wasn't too too bad. More like, bad acting at its best. Does that make any sense?? The TM in the video? Horrible! BAD funny, though. She couldn't act to save her life! Maybe a bad day? Oh well, on to MIB. :cool2: I usually do horribly on these attractions (believe me!), and my score proved so. Not only do I not remember it, but it was really bad. Oh well! It was still really fun. We rode ET next. It was...strange. Very strange. Cute...but strange. Could possibly need a refurb? Time for our first Meal Deal Meal! Our choice was Food and Film Festival. It wasn't that bad. I liked that they were showing the Universal movies on the TV's. Then, we noticed that there were caricatures over near the lagoon. Sam and I got one done! It's hilarious. We STILL haven't framed it, but it's on my desk. Mom wanted to see the Animal Actor's show, so we caught the 2:15 show. It was really cute, but should've been longer! And the animals could've done more. The monkeys were adorable, though! It began to rain as soon as we got out (WHY US?!) so we ran for Mummy. Well, in the time we were in there (short short wait), rode the ride, and exited, the rain had stopped. Ok, cool. So we went on again! LOL. :) Our last stop here was Jimmy Neutron (on my insistance!). It was really fun and cute! (And we took our picture with SpongeBob after. Hee!) We excited USO, and walked to IoA.

By now it was around 4:00. Of COURSE, we just HAD to do Hulk first! (This became sort of a ritual, as you will learn) Then, our Spidey (one of my favorites), and...gulp...Dr.Doom! I absoultely LOVE freefall rides, so this one was cool. Not as nicely themed as ToT at the OTHER theme park, but it was still really cool and HEART-DROPPING! We were all screaming. I had my eyes open and loved every second of it. Sam learned to time the drops, so she would count when they would go up (by listening to the hiss of the ride and counting off). SO MUCH FUN ON DR.DOOM! (At least for me, ;) ) We hiked to Lost Continent for our first spin on DD. We chose ICE as our dragon. Again, only the girls. Well, it was very jolting and discombobulating. I didn't care for it. I prefer to SEE where I'm going, thanks very much! I didn't want to do FIRE, so we left. Sam and I ended up going on Flying Unicorn. IMO, I liked this better than DD! :rotfl: Went around to Toon Lagoon. Meal Deal Meal #2! Comic Strip Cafe. The food was okay, once again. We rode Popeye, and then Dudley twice in a row. Second time was just me and Sam (and these two random guys with us, but we were separated in the log). Walk on! We felt like being evil, so we squirted people on Popeye, and then went to the top of Me Ship, the Olive for pix and evil fun! I'm an angel I swear! NOT! LOL. The views were amazing from there. Then, we went on JPRA. SO much fun, as usual. But we were further in the boat, and didn't get wet! Neither did the people in the front of the boat! Also, the box wasn't working, the ultrasaur was down...needs a refurb! Now, it was dusk/twilight-ish, so we braved Dr.Doom and Hulk again. The views were really pretty! Ok, so I had my glasses off for Hulk, but still. Very nice. Around 8:30 P.M. (or so) we scuttled on over to USO again for Universal 360. This was an okay show. I did really like the projections on the buildings and the cool fireworks. We headed back to RPR (finally) and watched Fresh Prince of Bel Air until 11:30. Of course at midnight...
I'll continue that later! That actually starts Day 3 (July 30, 2007).

DAY 3 OF THE AMAZING AMANDASPARKS730 BIRTHDAY TRIP!
July 30, 2007

Ok. So I was about to drift off to sleep...when...Sam woke me up to say "Happy Birthday!" I roll over, look at the clock. 12:00 A.M. :scared1: Ack! Ah well. She's a really close friend, so I'll let it slide, LOL. I woke up, and see that Mom had put streamers around our bed. Heh. We ate breakfast, and changed into our bathing suits. Around 9:00 or so, we headed down to the POOL! Checking in with a TM, we find Cabana #1! This is the one right in front of (or behind, depending on how you look at it) the hot tub. HOT TUB! We sat back in our lovely cabana. Sam and I checked out the pool and the ship. She called her family, and I talked to her twin sister, Courtney (identical, Sam's older by 6 minutes). She said Happy Birthday to me. Sam and I listened to my iPod on my portable speakers. Around noon, dad went to get the menu for the Bula Bar. They came over a little while later with our lunches. We ate, swam, hung out. Around 1:00...the rainclouds came. Doom and Hulk stopped going. Then...it began to...RAIN! We all huddled in the cabana, watching court shows on the TV. A very nice TM came over and told us that they are evacuating the pool due to lightening in the area, so we pack up and run off to our room. My BFF (another one of many), Aly, called at 3:00 (as she had promised me) to chat and say Happy Birthday. She really missed us! Then...the clock changed to 3:12 P.M. My EXACT birthday! YAY, I'm 14!

We took showers, changed into our dinner clothes, and headed out to CityWalk around 4:30. Alas, there was no wait at Bubba Gump's! Mom informs our waitress that it's my birthday. We look at the menu and order (mmm...seafood!). After dinner, the waitress comes back. With ice cream! BUT...they put me on a chair...and announced that it was my birthday...to everyone in the restaurant! Uhm...I'm a VERY shy person (especially around total strangers, unlike Sam, the social butterfly). Therefore...:scared1: :scared:   LOL. **off topic...forgot to mention, the hotel sent up a gift basket for me! It was filled with candy, a card from the front desk...and...a Dora the Explorer doll? WHAT?! I'm 14, not 4! My Dad even specifically said, "NO DORA." And what did they give me? Dora. So where is Dora now, you may ask? My dog has her! :lmao: ** We walked around CityWalk for awhile, browsing in shops. My favorite was the Endangered Species store. Very cute-bought a Happy Bunny t-shirt! We thought that there would be more, but I guess we're so used to DTD. We caught a trivia contest on the main stage. Fun! Went back to RPR early, perhaps around 7:30, 8:00 P.M.? We watched America's Funniest Home Videos and two episodes of Fresh Prince of Bel Air. I threw Dora across the room...and it thundered! Sam told me that I had made Dora mad...:rotfl2: We went to bed, me happy.

The AMAZING AMANDASPARKS730 BIRTHDAY TRIP!
Day 4
July 31, 2007

We woke up "late" and headed out to USO after getting ready. Of COURSE, we started with ROTM! Then, we trekked around to MIB (again) and again, I did bad-worse than last time, actually! :upsidedow **Off topic-I KNOW for a fact that we ate lunch at Circus McGirkus in IoA. The thing is, I don't remember even GOING to IoA that morning! I seriously don't! Wow. Brain blockage at its worst! Anyway, off topic over...** But anyway, we rode Mummy again (5th time...) And the girls (Dad didn't want to) checked out Beetlejuice's Graveyard Revue. I LOVED it! Sam LOVED it! Mom liked it. But what we really liked were Wolfboy and Vampire. They. Were. So. CUTE!! We headed around the lagoon to the Horror Make-Up Show (which we heard was really good). Our seats were in the front row (dun dun dunnnn). And guess who got picked for the "stake through the heart" gag? Mom. So what does she do? Try to pull it out! So the actor goes "I think I'll need some mouth-to-mouth..." LOL, too funny! :rotfl: The "volunteer" was a girl from Indonesia named Agnes. Or, as they said, "the name of a mother-in-law"! She was with her (as they said) "buisness partner". Well, Agnes couldn't scream for her life! Everyone was laughing. And then they were like, "you've won a 3-day cruise...brochure. To Indonesia!" And they said "you can trust us...we're Americans!" :lmao: And then, guess who was chosen for the heart blood? Mom! :rotfl2: A very funny show. We were able to *just* catch the next T2 show, so in we went. The peppy lady was very good. We sat MUCH further back than we had in Shrek 4D, so the effects were very good. I jumped a few times! Good show. We were hungry by then, so we went to Mel's Drive-In. The food was pretty good there!

We headed over to IoA around 7:15, so it was dark by the time we got there. We had decided to do the water rides at night, so that way, we could just peel off our yucky clothes and change into PJs. So around 8:00, we were on Popeye. We rode with this very nice, very funny family. Soaking wet. Then, Dudley. The ride IS better at night. Much better, especially the drop! JPRA (we had a ritual). My goodess, it was SO good at night! The drop was kinda...unexpected. Like, you KNEW it was there, but then again, it was pitch-black, and even from the front of the boat, you didn't quite expect it. The box was finally working! Scared the ** out of us! Wet as we were, we went on Dr.Doom. Oh. My. God. We had the park-facing view, and it was BEAUTIFUL! You can even see all the way out to MEN IN BLACK at USO! And that's pretty far! Ride. It. At. Night! We headed back to RPR very tired, and sad that we had to leave the next day. Watched Fresh Prince and went to bed.

Coming up on Tuesday:
Day 5 (departure)
August 1, 2007

**Mummy 6, 7 times!
**Twister: A new water ride
**One...*sniff* last ride...*sniff* on the Hulk!

**Delayed flight
**Surprise visitor at the airport...guess who?
**49 emails...geez!

Tune in on Tuesday for more...

Hey AmandaSparks730, seem to have had a great time, and what a place to celebrate your Birthday, we where actually there the same time as you, and guess what-- we are going back next year:banana: and it will be my birthday when we are there, although do not think i will tell anyone

Really? Wow, what a small world! :)
Have a great time for your birthday! Just tell the front desk-they'll send up a basket to your room!

Brain blockage at its worst!

Wait until you've had another 40 and talk to me about blockage! :headache:
I took my son to PBH on his 14th birthday and every birthday since. This year it will be his 20th birthday and he still wants to do it. On his 14th he got all 9's on MIB. It took me 2 years to catch up to that.
Keep writing, you're doing good!

Finally...
DAY 5 OF THE AMAZING AMANDASPARKS730 BIRTHDAY TRIP!
August 1, 2007

We actually kinda slept in, but were still up early. We quickly packed (gotta love giant-sized ZipLock baggies, they really work! Just throw everything in them, really!) and headed downstairs to check out. We left the luggage in the baggage check room. Mom said she didn't feel like going to the parks, so me, Dad, and Sam headed out to USO. We headed straight for Mummy and rode once. We were about to ride again, but Dad asked how long the lockers were free for. I said, an hour. So, we decided to go to Twister while we had the time. Well, we got the back row being FOTL. Before heading out, we said "no water rides" so we wouldn't be wet at the airport. Well...we got a HUGE burst of water dumped ALL OVER OUR BACKS in Twister! :scared1:  :thumbsup2 Anyways, the twister itself looked incredibly real, and the queue is nicely done. We did our 7th spin on Mummy and left the park. Went over to IoA and did one last spin of the Hulk before calling it quits and heading back to the RPR by water taxi. Sam and I sat up by the captain and had a fun talk with him. He was very nice and funny, good natured.

**Off-topic. Forgot to mention that the night before we sat in the chairs outside Margaritaville after our water ride expedition. We just sat and ate Dippin Dots while watching the fireworks explode over USO. Back on topic**

We found Mom on the beach, and I took the camera to take pics on the beach near the dock (the one with the volleyball courts). Dad, Sam, and I went up to Bula Bar to eat lunch. After, we walked around around a little and sat outside the lobby, waiting for the shuttle to take us to MCO. *Sniffle* Bye-bye RPR and the amazing Universal Studios! :guilty: We made conversation with the other family in the shuttle with us, who had stayed at PBH. We just swapped vacation stories, and before we knew it, we were at MCO. Check-in wasn't too bad, and sercurity seemed like ** but we got through it. We therefore headed to our gate, while Mom and I ran to McDonald's for a dinner fix. I just played cards with Sam, eating, and then...the rain came. Not rain...the thunder, too! And the lightening. BAM! The runway wasn't even visible! The flight was...delayed. We were on our way by 7:25, 7:30, though. The sun was out somewhere out of Florida, so Sam took some pics of the beautiful sunset. She had calmed down somewhat after her near-breakdown earlier. See, she's afraid of flying in the first place, but after that thunderstorm...she was a wreck! We arrived back safe and sound in PVD around 10:15. Sam's parents met us downstairs (yes, downstairs!) near the baggage claim. And just guess who was with them? (who I did NOT expect to see) COURTNEY! :goodvibes I happily greeted her, and she and I talked while waitng for the luggage to come. They brought us home, and we went inside to find one VERY unhappy kitty cat (the outdoor cat). Ah, well. I checked my email. 49 messages. 49! Most, from a writing website and from my other friends. One was all "OMG when are you coming home? I miss you guys!" I also got some birthday messages...and junk mail. Enough about my emails, we went to bed (tired).

IN CONCLUSION:
A great trip! I'll never forget it! I have pics up on my bedroom wall, and one framed (the pic from MIB-second time, just the 4 of us in the car). A FANTASTIC way to spend a birthday, no matter what age you are!

Thanks for reading, by the way :goodvibes
