My DH has yet again changed our resort for September.

Yes it is true, gotta love him! We are considering getting an RV somewhere down the line and have visited DBs last year at FW and loved it. This is the last and final time! We booked a cabin at FW for a week. I am so excited (again). The layout looks great for DS. I am a country bumpkin at heart. I promise there will be no more changes to report.
I have to read this thread tonight once DS goes to bed to catch up on everyone else!!!
Ann
Ann, I have never stayed at the campgrounds or in the cabins, although DH thinks he would love that. My Sis IL has stayed in the cabins for almost every visit she makes with her friend and her family, they love it there. They found that there was more room and that it was perfect because of the kids. Plenty of room to play and explore. We also have friends who use the campgrounds each time the head down to the Orlando area. They do not always hit the parks but find that the amenities are nice, the price is right and what ever else campers look for is there. I do not camp so I have no idea what a camper wants
I'm so happy for you, but I'm not country at all. DH & I both hate camping and RV's and anything considered "roughing it".

We do have friends who absolutely say the FW area for RV's is the way to go, so hope it works for y'all!!
Oh we are so alike! My first husband and his family camped, I hated it. For me, stuffing six people, even little people in a room the size of a small bathroom was not for me and after a few attempts I refused to go. When I met Buddy one of the first questions I asked was not "Do you like kids?" but "Do you camp?" Good, his idea of roughing it was the same as mine: Ho Jo's.
Alexis & I have just been busy with summer fun. Yesterday swimming, today was spent decorating princess crowns & we went see Wall-E this afternoon.
You are one busy Nana!
Sorry for everyone I've missed. Today is my anniversary and my husband surprised me with a beautiful bouquet of snapdragons and we were supposed to go out for a nice dinner. You know, typical anniversary stuff. Well, he has come down with something and we ended up eating leftovers and he has been in bed since 8:00.
The good news is that today we booked ourselves for a weekend at the Biltmore Inn in Asheville. I've never been and I'm really looking forward to going. Anyone have any good restaurant suggestions for the Asheville area?
Well, first Happy Anniversary! Now I'm sorry that Kenny is sick, what a way to celebrate your special day

, but what an awesome surprise! My DH has never surprised me with something like this. I am not jealous.....I am not jealous.....I am not jealous.....
Guess what.... MY DH GOT A JOB!!!!
He starts Tuesday at a new company that is doing exactly what his old company was doing. No training needed, just jumps right back in. Also a significant raise included. He still really wants the firefighting gig but needed something NOW before severence and unemployment ran out.

I has had to be stressful for the two of you so now you can breath. If the FF job is right for your DH it will still happen but sometimes something unexpected it wonderful. Marisa had to quit a job when the two partners were at odds and one wanted her to "cheat" for him on the paperwork. She felt that this was just going to explode and take her with it so she took a temp job. Well that was a temp to hire and while she hated the position that she was hired for the company ended up creating a position for her in order to keep her. The company has changed hands several times but she is still there and more than once she has created her own niche within the job category. My DD has the CS skills of a barracuda so this company has had to find an area where her personality is a plus.....

Laura, I thought she would get really bored, but she didn't. I had to keep hushing her because she was asking lots of question during the movie. When we got out OMG, she couldn't stop! "Nana do people really live in space?" Well yes sort of, on a space station but just for short periods of a time. I answered. "Do they have robots in space?" Well yes. "Can they talk like Wall-E?" Well no not really. " Why couldnt the people stand up & why were they so fat? Ugh really tough trying to explain gravity & weightlessness to a 5 yo. I finally let slip the proverbial "parent question" Alexis why do you ask so many questions? "Well Nana, you see, I'm not like other people, I have to ask, because I really need the answers now!" Oh well of course!
Alexis is overly sensitive & would get a little frightened at times, but overall she liked it. I thought it was good, but I just sort of felt like I had shelled out $20 bucks to watch a very good Save the Enviroment PSA.
But it is definitely a good summer movie for the kids. Just sneak in your own food & drinks! It cost $20 bucks for the tickets, popcorn & m&m's. I snuck in a water & sprite. Crazy especially for burnt popcorn!

I feel your pain!

Oh course she needs to know the answers! I love quizzy girls!
Kady love Wall-E as well. I missed that one but was told that Kung Fu Panda is going to be my summer favorite

, right after Nim's Island. WE take her but my poor DH flatlines in the concession line each time. We have tried taking her to dinner first but there is something about movie treats that draws the two of them like moths to a flame.

. I take my own popcorn and a drink...movie popcorn is yucky and at least 11 points!
Laura- Kady does not watch Hannah Montana or High School Musical. She is totally into Webkinz so I am no help. I will tell you that she brings one or two depending on the price to her birthday parties and the girls love them.
Glynis- I am loving your trip report. This is probably the closest I will get to London so I need to see all that you did!
Dinner was so good last night. Marisa made quinoa, but I told her to add a little chicken base and that was a little salty, but th chicken was good. I tried to make the French dressing sauce posted here but I used sugar free jam and fat free dressing. I did nto have French so I Nanatized it and it came out tasty. I did end up adding a little brown sugar, sugar free is not great all the time.
We are all trying to eat better but the girls are the ones who are losing quicker than me. Buddy has lost weight even though he really does not need to (why is that always the way?) but I think he is feeling better.
My sister wanted me to help her with her cook put Saturday and I told her that I would, offered to make her salads and sides. I think she got scared when I started telling her about eh fat free and whole grain sides I would make. She is ordering the traditional sides and I am making the "special" ones. I think she is going to be surprised. I am making a FF version of Glynis potato salad, a spaghetti/veggie salad, a fruit salad and maybe a cherry Angel food dessert. I am not sure what else I will make.
For Friday I am going to grill rib eye steaks, and probably chicken thighs, some sort of squash and maybe grilled onions. I have a jello recipe that is 10 points for the entire tray so we are having that and maybe a blueberry dessert similar to a blueberry dump cake. I'll head over to the WW site and see what those folks are making and then tweak it for us.
Tonight I have to see who is going to be home before I decide on dinner.
