I'll tell you what, I'll cook all the fish and you cook all the beef, and between the two of us we can earn the title Grillmaster.![]()
I don't really have any suggestions about the TV. I used to let them watch it, but then Liam got bored with the kiddie programs that were appropriate for Caili, and Caili decided she didn't like Sesame Street anymore because she was terrified of Oscar and Cookie Monster. Then I started letting them watch a movie on Friday nights, but that rapidly deteriorated into a giant fight over what to watch, so now, the TV just stays off. To be honest, at this point, they are so busy, there isn't time for TV. The free time they have, they want to spend in other ways. Liam hasn't even played his Wii all that much. Maybe you could get Alexis into figure skating??

I changed my mind on the roast chicken (now that I went out and bought one). It has stopped raining and it is humid, so I don't want the oven on for that long. I think I will grill it instead.
Happy Birthday, Ann!!

We do have to get Alexis involved in something. But her Mom & I are having a stand-off on that right now. She wants to put her in dancing school. Ugh! We have very few schools that teach "real" ballet around here instead they get psuedo tap, & bump & grind crapola I don't want to see! I want to put her back in gymnastics. Unfortunately, skating is an impossibility. You probably won't believe this but we do not have a ice skating rink in Metro Nola area! Not one, isn't that sad.
Vera Wang?I swear designers these days seem to have their name on everything.
Happy Birthday!

I am need some advice and I'm not finding it on Google (it's an odd search). I am wanting to get my mom, grandmother, and MIL rose corsages to give to them at church for Mother's Day. If I remember correctly, white and red roses each have a symbolism on Mother's Day. If you wear one color, it means your mother is leaving, the other color means your mother has passed.
Which is it?!?!? I can't remember!!! And I HAVE to get this right or I will be really embarrassed. This is a VERY odd Google search and I'm not getting answers.
Help!!!!!!
Here you go Lindsay,
The red rose signifies that your mom is living, and a white rose signifies she has passed away.
