Yes, they will NOT let you book a king room with more than three people, unfortunately.

AND, Disney does NOT have rollaways at the deluxe properties.

You will be put into a room with 2 queens and the daybed for your party.

The only option if you NEED a king bed and want to guarantee it is to book one of the deluxe rooms in the Garden Wing. I believe those have the king bed along with 2 daybeds (or 1 daybed and a sleeper sofa).

When we stayed in the Deluxe Gardenview room 1 1/2 yrs ago, it had a king bed and a queen sleeper sofa. Disney will let you book a total of 4ppl in this room category. BTW, we LOVED this room.

Just booked 2 night on the Atrium Club level!!!! Its been 25 years since I have stayed there!!

Congragulations and have a great time. :thumbsup2

Also did you reserve the Magic Kingdom View or Bay Lake View?

We have reserved a Bay Lake view. Mother always liked that view better than the MK view :confused3....oh well, what ever she wants.

I noticed you have stayed there many times...can you tell me a little about it...the Atrium Club?? We have stayed there around 6 times (Bay lake view and once in a suite...this was back in the 1970's and early 1980's)...so I am kinda rusty on this resort.

All the information you want to know about the Atrium Club is written on the 1st page of the thread in the Club Level section, so I would read that. Besides that all of the other information about the Contemporary can be found on the 1st page and on this website dedicated to the Contemporary.

Does anyone know exactly which room and floors equate to which views in the BLT? For example I have read the first few lower floors are all standard view. Do we yet know exactly which floors? How about Bay Lake View, is it ALL of the rooms on the Bay Lake Side or just some of them? Do all Magic Kingdom View rooms have a GREAT view of MK or are some just barely able to see at an angle? I bet somewhere there is a map showing all of this.

Maybe someone on here knows. Paging CR Resort Fan 4 Life...

Well all the Bay Lake View will have a view of Bay Lake Tower, however the even numbered rooms will mean your beds will also face towards Bay Lake Tower. Besides that every floor in the Tower with the exception of the 5th floor, has great views of the Magic Kingdom, which is my personal opinion. The reason I bring up the 5th floor is because they only have the Bay Lake View. Finally I would also say each floor with the Bay Lake View is also amazing.

I think you are asking about BLT views from BLT...

Here is a link to the map they give you at check-in that has room numbers (click on it to enlarge):

And, a link to a recent BLT TR from the DVC forum:

I read TRs that some of the lower level MK view rooms are pretty awful; you can end up with the parking lot at eye level. Someone was placed in a lower level MK room and asked to be placed higher which was much better.

Do you think my twins (age2) could sleep together on the fold down couch or should we ask for two pack n plays? They would fight over who got to sleep where if they are not both doing the same thing.
any advice?

The daybed is about the size of a twin bed. I don't know if they could sleep together in one of those? The drawback would be that there is a good-size space between the mattress and the back of the sofa--I put the bolster pillows from the queen beds in that space because my 12 yo didn't like it:rolleyes:. I don't know if bed rails are a possibility for that bed, either, but perhaps someone will know.

While searching for the links above, I came across this thread on the "DVC Mousecellaneous" forum speculating about yet another Tower being built next to the CR:confused3:

Personally I hope that is nothing more then just a rumour because I would think that's a very bad idea. It's already hard enough just to get a Contemporary reservation with the loss of the North Garden Wing, so can you imagine what if they got rid of the South Garden Wing. Plus the Garden Wing rooms are among the least expensive rooms within the Deluxe Resorts which makes it very popular. Finally since the South Garden Wing rooms were just renovated that's why I don't see them blowing them up for another DVC building.
