shhh!!!!!!!!!! Don't jinx me! Thank goodness we are going in December too (the trip he does know about!) Every time I start to mess up and ruin the surprise, I pretend I was talking about that trip!

Seriously, though, I have had this booked since November and I can't believe I haven't given it away!! So many of his friends at school went for their birthday's this year and he has asked at least 10 times why we aren't going...

How are you planning on telling him about the surprise? Will you wake him up and say get dressed because were going to Disney World right now or something like that?

His birthday party is 3 days before we leave. I ordered some Mickey ear balloons on line that I will fill with helium and put in a big wrapped box. When he opens it, the balloons will float out (like on the What Will You Celebrate commercials) with a note telling him that we are going.

Thanks! I am such a Disney dork (but so is he) so it should make for a FUN reveal!!

I also grabbed a few things when we were there last December for a "SURPRISE! We are going to WDW gift basket" -Happy Birthday ears with his name on them, a stuffed Jedi Mickey (Star Wars Weekend happens while we are there), an autograph book, EPCOT passport, park maps etc. That is also going in the box.

Speaking of beer...

On the CL thread today, someone mentioned Sam Adams being available at the Poly lounge. They didn't know if it was also available at the Atrium Club. Do you recall seeing it there?

We stayed in the Atrium Club in January and Samuel Adams was available, as well as several other fine beers. Various chilled wines were available as well.

Hi, I just booked a stay here since they have a summer discount and we wanted to add on to our stay but not at the Boardwalk.

We booked a standard Atrium Club Level room. What kind of view does this offer? And does standard just mean the regular size room, not a bigger deluxe room? Thanks.

You'll have a regular-sized room on the Atrium Club level facing Bay Lake. Have a wonderful time!

Standard means "Bay Lake View". (We don't know why they don't just call it that.) Room sizes on the Atrium Club level are all the same, no matter what view (MK or BL) you have reserved.

A Standard Atrium Club Level room will give you a view of Bay Lake. As for the room size it's exactly the same as the other floors in the Tower and the Garden Wing.

If we stay CL, we can book the wildlife discovery excursion. Anyone know the times it is offered? Is this booked by the IPO at 90 days as well?

If we stay CL, we can book the safari. Anyone know the times it is offered? Is this booked by the IPO at 90 days as well?

The Sunrise Safari is only available for Club Level guests at the Animal Kingdom Lodge, however I believe there is another Safari which is available to all Club Level guests no matter the resort they are staying at.
