Your lucky! I requested and e-mail confirmation 3 times and mail confirmation 2 times and I have not received any.

They have the correct e-mail address too. The only thing I received is a Welcome to the Contemporary for your June vacation packet and e-mail. No date and room specifics.

Well if it makes you feel a little better we had to call them two more times after making our reservation, because we never got the e-mail confirmation after the reservation was made. The second call is also when they said the confirmation was also mailed out on December 20th, however I wasn't sure if that Cast Member was right because we have also heard that in the past and never got it. So when I saw that in the mail today I was surprised.

I was reading on another thread about someone who asked about the CR campfire, and I was wondering the same thing myself. DD and I attended the one at the GF last April and it was one of the highlights of our trip! We roasted marshmallows, and instead of a singalong, they played some great music and had all the kids dancing on the beach, including the line dances like the YMCA etc. I was hoping the CR also had this. I remember reading something awhile back about the CR having a campfire and singalong, but no one mentions it. (and I'm not talking about the one over at Fort Wilderness with CHip and Dale). If you are going in the near future, could you check this out, and let me know what time the festivities begin? It was so much fun at the GF, I'm hoping to continue the tradition at the CR!

Our family is staying at the CR from February 8th to the 12th. If I find any information while we are there I will post it when we get back.

So I made my final payment today, everyone. It is official, CR here we come! I just can't wait to do my single digit dance, but for today, I'll do my "trip is paid off" dance. It'll have to do for now!

We did this at the CR last June and it was so much fun! I really hope they still do it!

COngrats! Doesn't it feel fantastic to be official?

I have another question for those of you going to the CR in the next few weeks...would anyone be able to take a picture of the current room service menu? I'm thinking of doing this at least once so we could have dinner while watching the fireworks from our room, but wanted to see a current menu with the choices to see if anything looked good ahead of time. I would really appreciate it TIA if you could help!

We're planning a trip for August and this time we're splurging and taking our 3 boys on their dream vacation to the CR! We're very excited and I'll be following this thread to learn all that I can (and to feed my excitement!). I read that you can request a microwave for the room...if I was lucky enough to have that request granted how much per night extra would it cost?

it was 90 when I booked it but that was before the change to 180 so I would go with 180

Yes, I believe it is still the current one, at least as of '09. I've been hearing those same songs by the pool for years. But, maybe this year they'll change it. I hope not though, since I've practically memorized the songs and even sometimes listen to them in the background when I'm on the computer, thanks to Craig posting them to his site last year.

I let my kids listen to the playlist and they liked most of it. I told them those were some of my favorite old songs!! That may have ruined the coolness factor for them!

I think they thought they knew some of the music, until I had to remind them that Darius Rucker(who they listen to on country radio now!) was "Hootie and the Blowfish" back then! I know I still have that cd somewhere!

Too funny. My husband and I had this same conversation yesterday I have that CD and saw them when they played a small concert at a college here. But I love his country stuff too.

We're hoping to experience the pool area this trip. December, which was our first stay at CR, was so busy with rushing to holiday stuff, we didn't really get to experience the resort. Soooo excited to be going back..

Thank you!!! It is 180 days now. I just called an booked it for Fri 6/11. I was really hoping to get it the 10th (DS's actual bday) but as of now, it is still only running on Fri, Sat, Sun and Mon. But that's OK...if we aren't too pooped after, we can run to MK after for EMH night too!

I am REALLY looking forward to this!!!
