HHhhmmm ok. I guess I am going to have to get a few before we leave and put them in our fridge! Thanks! :goodvibes
That's a good idea taking some cans back to your room and it's something we always do when staying Club Level.

As for your other question is the Atrium Club reservation in your name or your parents name? I have never been in a situation where we would give a room to other members of my family and since one of the rooms you reserved is on a Club Level floor I think it makes a difference who stays in it.

Quick question. I called the other evening to see if there were any tower rooms available to upgrade, and sadly there are not (we would lose our free dining) So when I asked for a king bed the CM nicely told me I was not eligible for a king since we have a three year old in the room.

I thought this was really odd since they have day beds in each room. Thoughts? Should I call back and try someone else?

Its under my name because I am the passholder. I am thinking the TPV will be better for them anyway.

So one more question. I don't have ME tags for this new reservation and won't get them because it is like 4 days from now. I just give them my bag claim tags correct? Do I give them my reservation number as well? :confused3

My family and I have never taken Magical Express so I can't say what you are supoosed to do, so my best advice is posting that question on the Transportation Forums.

Quick question...Are the garden wing patios private? Meaning, is there wall separating you from your neighbors? I saw one photo that looked private and another that looked like there were two patio sets next to each other with no privacy in between. :confused3

Thanks!!! :thumbsup2

In August 2009 one of the Atrium Club Cast Members told me they don't mind when guests bring 2 or 3 family or friends into the lounge because those type of numbers aren't much where others will notice it being more busy. So I don't see a problem since it will just be your parents, although you can always ask just to make sure it's ok.

There are four of us staying at MKV atrium club in December. My brother in law and two sisters in law are staying at another resort. I know they would love to see the Atrium Club. Can we really bring them in? I know they are going to want to see our room and I didn't know what to say to them about coming into the club. I'd appreciate your thoughts. (I will also ask when we check in)

Like I said before I was just going by what the Cast Member told me, however if it will make you feel better why don't you ask and see what their answer is.

I will let you guys know soon! I will be there Friday night and am going to ask if I can bring my parents in. :thumbsup2

Just wanted to say that after much debate, we are booked at CR for February 20-25. This is my dream come true trip and I cannot wait! :thumbsup2

Quick question...and this might sound silly... we have a TPV and I'm curious about where its worth planning on being in the room to watch Wishes! from our balcony. I know its not the same as being on Main Street, but is it something I should try and plan for? TIA! :thumbsup2

Congratulations on getting a reservation and I say you should at least try to watch Wishes from the balcony of your room at least once. It's one of the perks that view comes with and I am not sure if you know this but on channel 20 during Wishes they play the music for it, so if you put it on while your on the balcony it's almost like being inside the Magic Kingdom,

Thanks! I actually asked assuming that Wishes was at 8 p.m., which would have been trickier to be back in the room for, but its at 10 that week, so we'll be in our room anyway and I'm so looking forward to being able to take advantage of that perk!

You're welcome and I hope you have a great time.

I took these last month and as you can see, there is a privacy divider between EACH room's patio. We also stayed in a ground floor GW room once and we did not share a patio.

Thanks so much WDWKOOK!! I am about to book the CR and think we might enjoy the serenity of the Garden Wing rooms over the Tower. Still deciding!

You're welcome:). I'm sure you already know that the Tower and GW rooms (non-suite) are identical. The main differences are the price, view, location and balcony. One other thing to consider is whether you think Davis would be disappointed that he's not in the Tower. Many people associate the CR with the Tower and may feel like they aren't fully experiencing the CR unless they stay in the Tower. Kids especially think of the monorail when they think of the CR, so you might want to consider that in making your decision.

It's DH I'm worried about disappointing, not Davis. :rotfl2: If we can be near the pool and see the EWP then DS will love it. Thanks again for your help!

How comfortable are the daybeds? Also, how do you open them? We are thinking of a long weekedn before Christmas but there would be 5 of us in the room so we would need to use the day bed. Is it big enouch for a 5'8 13 year old boy?

Does anyone have any pics of what it looks like opened?

Thanks.

Don't forget another difference is the chances of getting a room close to or right over Chef Mickey's and hearing that celebrate song which is played every half hour when they are open for breakfast and dinner. Some guests hate hearing it and others don't mind it, however at least in the Garden Wing rooms that's one thing you won't be hearing.

Where at the CR is the airline check in desk? We're using DME next month to fly home via SWA.

Thanks.
